Super friendly and engaging customer support. The folks at work here really do seem to care. Another thing I love are the random cool things that you can purchase, like gift cards, and various trinkets. That they have those things has helped me grab some last-minute birthday and other holiday items for friends when I would have completely forgotten the special day. It is a nice neighborhood hardware store that serves its basic purpose and much more.

I have loved this store and staff since I moved to Kingston. As a general contractor and also in…read morethe process of remodeling our home here, Henery's has been an invaluable asset, literally 2 blocks away. At the onset of the pandemic, Henery's took charge and implemented numerous measures and protocols to keep patrons and staff as safe as possible. As of this date, May 18, 2020, however, things have deteriorated greatly. 1 of 5 employees I encountered wore a mask. 1 of 5 wore gloves. 2 passed within six inches of me in order to stock shelves on the same aisle I was on, neither wearing masks. Following the example, 2 of ten customers wore masks and also made numerous attempts to get less than 6 feet from me. There are no requirements for employees nor customers to wear a simple mask. Here's the thing. The measures we've used state wide and been enormously successful in reducing the spread of Covid 19. So much so, my wife and I thought it relatively safe to continue to shop in places like Henery's. Fact is, we have a 19 year old quadriplegic at home with 23% lung capacity. If he gets this disease, he dies. Full stop. As a result, we rely on the mutual concern and professionalism of establishments like Henery's to help maintain that level of safety. Henery's isn't doing that anymore, despite the lack of a vaccine and dire warnings from the CDC and epidemiologists globally. We cannot take the risk of killing our kid. So it is that today was my last trip into your store. Life will run a bit slower for us, as we order everything online and have it delivered, but seeing our son reach the age of 20 will make that well worthwhile.

Our condo's previous owner took out all the closet doors. So, we were missing doors for our two…read morebedrooms and pantry. We suspected this would be an expensive project, so for years, we just put it off. Finally, last year we decided to get it done. In addition to the closet doors, we also replaced 5 interior doors for "free" (I say "free" because there were other costs associated with the interior doors). Yes, this was an expensive project--there's no sugarcoating that. BUT, it was worth it. Someone comes out for initial measurements. Then, you go to the showroom to pick your doors, and get a breakdown in pricing. The cost of the doors adds up quickly (e.g. knobs, installation cost, etc.). But, they're not trying to pressure you into anything. Once you place the order, it takes several weeks for the doors to come. In the meantime, someone comes back out to do more precise measurements. The install took a full day and a couple of hours the next day. After watching them work through some challenges with the install (e.g., crooked walls), I began to understand why it costs so much. I mean, I don't think we would've gotten close to the same results going with a big box hardware store. It's been about a year, and our doors still look great. We just wish we would've tackled this project sooner!

It seems to be due to moisture which would be expected of a bathroom. We were told the only thing to do about this is to sand it down and repaint and that this is not covered under warranty. Disappointing. Even more disappointing when considering that our old door which the previous owner spray painted with cheap paint they had used for the rest of the house held up much better and never bubbled like this under the same conditions and for much longer. Initial service and experience was 5 stars but those aspects are short-term interactions. The durability makes it 3 stars because durability is something we have to live with. It was also something we were initially sold on when Rich claimed their doors had superior durability due to the painting process and type of paint they used.

I had to take a sander to one of the doors to get it fit perfect but that is a small price to pay to get matched french doors. I had gone to Seattle Door House over the weekend since Franks was closed and the salesperson there was so rude and standoffish saying they wont touch a french door and that no one else would either. Well, not only did Franks make the doors, they didn't give me a hard time about it either. Clearly they have done this thousands of times. Will come back for my future door needs. final kicker, Seattle door house want over $800 for the pair before finding out they were french doors, while franks did it for under $600. stay away from seattle door house.

Ivan was even able to address our misaligned original window trim. Now our drafty house feels sealed and quiet, with a noticable decrease in the time the heater is running. Kirill was responsive to any questions and worked with us to resolve a misunderstanding of weekend scheduled work. I ended up purchasing all of my windows through him and was very happy with the level of professionalism and support I received. I will also add that He did a good job of keeping up ongoing communication regarding the delivery date of my windows and helpful with working with having to deliver them to an alternate location since I wasn't able to deliver them directly to my house when they arrived. Very helpful. I highly recommend Kirill and his team for your next project!
