I called today because my inspection report didn't have the photos the technician said he was going to provide. They said they'd get it to me within an hour. It's over an hour, so I called back to ask, and they said they already charged my card, it's non-refundable, and they won't have my photos until 5pm. After 5pm, I found out they don't have the photos... Everything seemed good until this happened. I was sure I was going to go with them for all future treatments, but the way they do business has me unsure now. They charged me for an incomplete report, and after they got my payments, they became really difficult to work with. Allen the inspector is good, but the customer service went downhill fast after they got my money. They did not offer a way to fix this, and instead resorted to a defensive attitude, trying to brush off any accountability. :( read more

Omg I just decided to relook at my yelp on this company and came across another yelper from 9 days ago that is going through my problem now. Great!! I'm working with Araceli and alan (he's great - btw) and it's been nothing but a headache. I'm tempted to just call it off at the rate things are going. In regards to the supposed "patching" they did - I just wanted to verify and see that they really did since they said they would be replacing wood and I need to provide paint if I want it to match. Flash forward, I didn't provide paint so I expected to see where the wood was repaired. NOTHING.... Makes me wonder if they did, so I called and unlucky me got Araceli again on the phone who basically laughed at me that I would think they didn't but she couldn't even get the stories start on the properties. Why can't I ask when it costs $810 and I don't see anything different?!!! Ridiculous. Im writing this now to voice my concerns about the company (and folks really look at the contract before signing anything!) and hopefully they will be addressed as well as credited so I am a happy customer. read more

Called Bug Pro to come out and give me an estimate regarding rodents in the attic. The gentleman that came out stated they mainly deal with termites and not rodents (although their Yelp page notes their one of their specialties is rodents). He poked his head in the attic and said he didn't see any issues with rodents. He didn't really crawl up there to look, just a brief glance. Joann and Araceli were always patient and available to answer my questions and concerns from beginning to end. Discovering age-indeterminate termite damage to some of our exterior beams, and noticing some termites flying around the house lately, we cringed at the possibility of an active infestation. After already receiving quotes from two other companies, I'm glad I decided to get a third, from Simply Termites. Talk about competitive pricing, Simply Termites came in about $700 LESS than our highest bidder. Third time's a charm! The process was super simple. Given that they use the best gas on the market for fumigation (Vikane), we were given the run down of how to bag our food, unzip mattress covers, etc. We were even able to schedule the fumigation same-week! Lastly, because we have a concrete tile roof we were warned that several tiles may be broken in the process of putting the heavy tarp over our home. I confirmed this with a local roofing company who said that dozens of tiles could easily get broken in the process of fumigation. But since this company earned my trust, I decided to proceed, and lo and behold only TWO tiles were broken. This is less than the number broken during our solar panel installation! I was referred to this company by another pest company in Huntington Beach that doesn't do termites. He said they do all his termite work. I was given Alan's direct number and was told he is the termite inspector. Alan came to my home and did a thorough inspection without causing unnecessary damage to my home while inspecting my property. I was impressed with the time and care Alan took to look for pests and the care he took to not destroy the locations where termites were located. I was provided a detailed report on the findings and was given options on how they could treat the problem with the costs. I decided to schedule the treatment and a few days later Brandon came and did the work. He explained in detail what he had to do and what to expect as well as some very informative information about termites and their activity. I was very impressed with Alan and Brandon and their work. Brandon had to drill holes in my house to treat the areas where termites were found and I was amazed at the care he took to conceal the appearance of the intrusions. Poor workmanship and YELP Rebate ????? Being new to OC and never having termites before I went to Yelp to find a good pest control company. I chose Simply termites because of their reviews. The estimator came out and measured the home for treatment of subterranean termites. This treatment consists of trenching around the home and in some places drilling trough the concrete to place the needed chemicals in the holes and trench. A young man showed up to do the work and did not take much care in the trenching process. I had some decorative rock along the side of the home and the rock and dirt from the trench were mixed together when it was replaced and looks like "Crap" I even asked him to rake the rocks so that the dirt would move to the bottom. He did but it was still a poor job. All the trenched areas he replaced were very sloppy and unsightly. He also busted a sprinkler head near the trenching and did not report it. I only discovered this days latter when I noticed some plants were wilting. The work that estimator said would be done was noticeably less than the work performed. When I called the office to pay the bill I told them about the poor job they did on the trenching and have heard nothing. I have an injury that prevents me from fixing this problem or I would just do it. The more concerning thing was the 2% homeowner discount for posting a YELP review. I believe this violates the sprit of leaving an honest review. Now I have doubts about their reviews and feel mislead and unhappy with the work performed. Good service and friendly staff. Joann at the office was really helpful. Alan quoted me for Subterranean termites for the exterior wood panel but apparently the termite treatment for the inside was a different type of termites so I had to pay an additional $250. They were suppose to patch and repair the wood that was damage and I don't think they did a very good job with that repair. I must have misunderstood Alan when he said they would be able to repair the damage wood. I paid $650 for the wood repair and I should have just hired someone else to do the wood repair because that party was worth not $650. That's my fault I guess for not understanding what they were capable of doing. I would hire them again for termite work but not repair work. read more

We contacted TheOCbeeguy which directed us to an agent from it's sister company Simply Termite, which came out to look at some wasp nests that were around my house, they took down two semi large nests and did not see any more wasps. Fast forward a few weeks later and those buggers came back near the end of the month and got stuck in my ceiling space. They kept ramming into the the lights fixtures all the while being generally annoying. Simply Termite was sent to the scene again and since it was close enough to the 30-day warranty window they looked at the ceiling space, cleaned out the trapped wasps and did another spray around the house to deter wasps from coming in all at no extra cost. The Agent also instructed me on where they were coming into my home from and how to fix the problem. I will be recommending this company to my friends and family. read more
