And what do I see on my way to work, but an adorable little store front advertising HONEY! Punch Honeybee has a store right by my house! Of course I must go inside.... see what the buzz is about! Wow. So inside it smells like a version of heaven. There's bee wax products around the room, and a wall with the latest local honeys in jars. The coolest part about Punch Honeybee is that this honey comes from relocated bee hives. Bee colonies that decided someone's chimney was a nice place to settle needed to be removed. And instead of fumigating, Punch Honey moves them to one of several locations and collects their honey. While I was there they had Sonoran Desert, Citrus and High Pollen Honey. They all taste different and they are all delicious. I had to buy all three of course - couldn't pick just one. Or two... There's also a list on the wall where you can sign up to have a bee colony set up in your yard. How cool! Of course there are conditions (space, neighbors, etc), but some day soon I may just be collecting honey from my own back yard. :) Check it out. Super cool place. Super cool owner.

I finally made it in to the store and thank God I did, Mike is AWESOME!!! I told Mike about my fly and my HUGE mosquito problems, along with some cricket issues and also my weed items. He walked me through what to get, WHY to get it, HOW to mix and use it and he even marked the containers with those ratios etc for me without me needing to ask! My wife would get absolutely eaten alive by those bloodsucking bastards when she would just step a few feet out onto the patio and the flies and other flying bugs would always swarm anybody that dare step foot out there too... I did what he told me to do and the next day when I went out to poop scoop and to water the gardens, it was about :30 min later that I suddenly realized... I only saw probably 3 flies and NO mosquitoes!!! I told my wife about all of that and in all honesty, I don't think she believed me, as it was unbearable for her to go out back. The next day near sundown, she came out back to talk to me and then exclaimed "You're right!! There's like NO flies or any mosquitoes out here... I can't believe it!!!" I've been a customer for over five years, in two different homes. Company was good prior to change…read morein ownership. I get monthly exterior spraying around the perimeter of my home for scorpions. I'm considering leaving for the following reasons: -Monthly rate increased this month from $61 to $67 without notice, no change to service. When I called to ask why I was told that some customers received notice that rates would increase but a large majority hadn't. Customer service didn't know why but acknowledged they were getting lots of calls about this. Rate also increased last year. -Unauthorized withdrawal of monthly service charge on debit card used for prior month's payment when I had not authorized auto payment. Again when I called about this I was told that they had changed systems which caused all unpaid balances to be automatically debited against cards on file, even for customers who hadn't authorized auto payment. They refunded the payment and I then went and manually made the payment as I do every month. I immediately deleted my credit card from their payment system. I was told the issue hadn't been communicated to customers. I was only made aware of the issue because I noticed the charges and called them! -Fraudulent scheduling - my home is serviced every 30 days. Has been for years. Over the last year I've noticed they try to service closer to every 20-25 days. Unless you call to reschedule you will end up paying for extra services per year. For the past two months I've caught the issue, rescheduled and continued to get texts trying to schedule me for less than 30 days from last service! For example, I was serviced 4/15, my next service should be close to 5/15. Received text late Friday afternoon 5/2 informing me of pending service on Monday 5/5. I called first thing Monday 5/5 and the customer service rep agreed that I should've been closer to 5/15 and changed my service date to 5/15. Today, 5/7 I received a text reminding me of my 5/9 service! When I called them for the second time this week to correct their error, no answer. Left a message and I'm waiting for a callback. Never expected to have to babysit a company performing such a basic service.

Thousands of dollars spent for nothing and they don't care one bit that it didn't work. Even their own employees say the company is "no good"! This company is very personable and stands behind their work. They do typical maintenance, as well as some specialized services. For example, they're treating a gopher problem we have that is currently aerating our front lawn without permission. They've also done a termite control service on our house as well (for those of you unaware, in AZ it's not a matter of if, just when so you have to be diligent in looking for them. The tubes are a giveaway to look for coming from the ground up). We've been very happy with their service, and they even on absolute short notice helped out my mom with a roof rat problem that another company was taking her for a ride on. They almost even came same day for that even though it was like 530pm. Company you can count on. Full disclosure we still occasionally do our own scorpion hunting (blowtorch and blacklight combo at night), but we rarely have issues with bugs. If we see them inside, anything venemous is always quite deceased. I think the only thing we've seen alive in the house over the years is like......a few silverfish? We also have two dogs so whatever they spray with isn't too bad for the dogs either though we always let it dry.

I really appreciate that he does not kill the bees but relocates them to hives where they can thrive without endangering anyone. I didn't realize about 90% of Arizona's honeybees are Africanized now. It is good to know they are productive bees also and shouldn't just be exterminated. Disappointing to learn the other business just kill them. I asked for a refund for the last 2 months and the woman answering the phone said the owner would call me. It's a month later and the owner hasn't called to resolve anything.
