Fly palace today. Killed 2 at my table b4 I made the mistake of hitting the buffet. Place is run down, all the walls, floors, chairs, tables l, ect are sticky, worn, dirty. Flys everywhere. 20 per person on a Friday, same offerings as a Monday at lunch. Staff was OK I guess, not attentive but what do u want from them at a buffet. Surprisingly tho no mud butt afterwards.

    Dead roach on/in the food.

Dead Roach ON THE BUFFET COUNTER Staff didn't seem surprised. Lost my appetite. Cleanliness concerns--definitely won't be back.

Really good value for the price! One of the best buffet spots in Austin, and the Korean dishes are amazing!

What can I say about buffets? All you can eat. I've been to many buffets, and honestly, this is one of the best for the price. Everything was fantastic except the egg rolls. All the other food made up for that. All the veggies were fresh, and all the food was prepared well and at perfect temperature. I had to go back for seconds of the fried rice as that was absolutely perfect. The service was fast and friendly. There's a large free parking lot. Disabled parking spaces. Entrance into the restaurant has two wide doors, easy access for wheelchairs. I looked around at other patrons to see how they were enjoying their meal. And, yes, they had big smiles on their faces. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for individuals, couples, and families. Children friendly with a HUGE variety menu.

Do they have crab weekday lunch?? Not the raw but regular crab

    What's the price?

It was 18 bucks when I went in Jan 2023. Hot tea was extra.

Do they serve both soy sauce and spicy raw crab?

    No.

When do they serve the Spicy raw crab?

Only on weekends when the price is a bit more expensive.

Do they offer senior specials or discounts?

Yes, and military discounts, too. There's also a good coupon here on yelp.

Will they be open Christmas Day?

    Yes @ 11:00AM

    Do they offer take-out food?

Yes, they offer take out also

    Do they have crab legs?

Yes. At least they have every time I've been there.

    How much for lunch?

Right about $10.65 with a tall glass of ice water. You. Can't eat it all. Need to come back 3 times. Great food, great service.

    What's the price for kids?

    $ 9.75 for kids

Do they serve Korean black bean noodles?

I'm afraid not. In all of the years I've frequented this joint, I've never seen them serve jajangmyeon (짜장면). But they do make an OK spicy tofu soup and bulgogi for a buffet.

    What is the cost?

    13.95 adult dinner

The place reminded me of Ling Wu in the Grove area because the decor looked similar. Maybe they are owned by the same people? Firstly, I was impressed with the fact they had a FREE parking garage nearby since this is in the downtown area and next to Whole Foods. It took me a bit to find it as I'm directionally challenged, but I did and was just running a bit late. We really enjoyed the food and cocktails. I got the Singaporean noodles, a mezcal drink, and a sake. The serving size was big so I had plenty to take home. We shared many of the other dumplings and dim sum items. Everything was very good! The place wasn't too crowded so after we paid our bill we sat around for a while longer to chat and catch up. Usually someone would come by to see if we needed or wanted anything further, but no one did so we kept chatting and left. I'm happy to know of a central location with easy parking as a future place to meet people. I wish they had a happy hour because the bill for 3 of us was unexpectedly higher than usual.

The Chakra Martini was refreshing and had a perfect kick of heat. I love spicy food, but not spicy drinks. However, this was just enough heat with a delicious refreshing flavor, it's now one of my new favorite drinks. We started our food experience with the Dahi Puri, which were delightful, popping with flavor. Another new favorite. The main course we shared was the Khuroos-E-Tursh and it instantly became my new go-to dish when I go for Indian food. The magic in that was two-fold: chicken medallions stuffed with a creamy spinach, mushroom, and onion mix, and the pistachio-creamy korma sauce. Absolutely magnificent. Not only was the food a 10, the service was impeccable as well. I will call out that we sat at the bar instead of a table, but we were immediately greeted by the bartenders, who were conversational, charismatic, charming, and all-around helpful. I highly recommend Clay Pit and can't wait to go back for more.

Did not disappoint. Me and my work compadre showed up and they handed him a sign that said last person standing, that means no more brisket after us and to let others that follow us know. Kind of sad to be the ones to let the others know. But man we lucked out! They run out every afternoon. They still had most of the other meats but we were there mainly for the brisket. We split 1 lb of brisket and 1 lb of pork ribs. Potato salad, coleslaw along with the complimentary pickles shed onions you serve yourself. Absolutely delicious. Best brisket and ribs I've ever had and I smoke a lot of meat myself including brisket. Mines good but not this good. Last time I was here an elderly gentleman leaned over and said the slices of bread you don't eat are great to use as napkins. He was right! Unconventional but it works better than paper napkins. Service is fantastic and everyone seems to love working there. They have a lot of swag too. I bought a t shirt. Place is super busy and a lot of non stop activity. The decor is cool too. Each time I wondered if a table would be available when we needed one and both times there were. We sat at a table with others that had room and they invited us to sit down before we asked. They do tend to get busy, as one would expect for such a limited window of opportunity, so come armed with patience. Even if it takes a bit to get a table, service is fast as can be. You'll be chowing down in no time once you can secure a seat. If you ask me, the crispy turnip cakes with shiitake are a must. It's so hard to find this made without meat or seafood, and they're doing it right. The braised eggplant is a close second favorite, but it is admittedly a large entree, not dim sum, though that's a good thing because it means you can order it any day, any time. The spicy cucumbers were also excellent, refreshing and crisp, perfect as a palate cleanser or started. Next time, I might skip the veggie dumplings, which were fine, but tasted mostly of cabbage, and little else. Most importantly, come with a crowd so you can order all the things and share around.
