It's the BWWs of Rockaway and as far as I'm concerned it's a pretty solid representation of this chain. With the help of their fast friendly service I was in and out and Rockin down the Highway in no time flat. I've been wanting to try their new Buffalo Bacon Sauce and it did not disappoint. Lemme give you a quick run down: We Talkin Buffalo Sauce, We Talkin Bacon Flavor, We Talkin Smokey, We Talkin Tangy, We Talkin. . .  ok my wings are getting cold    We Done Talkin.   Lol, one more thing though, I also gotta recommend their Desert Heat Dry Rub Wings which are totally worth Talkin Bout. The separate seating for family seating and bar/high top provides a good option for all. It's loud but it's a sports bar so it should be. The service is always good and friendly. They have a good variety of beer for the sports bar setting. Today we had wings bone in 4 different flavors. Always good and it should be since that's what they are here for. Also had a beer cheese steak sandwich. Sandwich was pretty good not beer cheese enough for me. The wings are overpriced but again that's what they are here for. Overall, the service was decent, but we had a frustrating experience with my husband's order. His salad was made incorrectly twice, and by the time the second attempt came out, our entire party had already finished eating. What made it worse was that no effort was made to correct the situation beyond just remaking the food. No apology, no acknowledgment--just a long wait for another incorrect dish. My husband, who never complains about service (and we both have worked in customer service), was so frustrated that he just asked for it to go so we could leave. I understand it was a high-volume night, so I'm giving three stars instead of lower, but customer service should still be a priority no matter how busy a restaurant is. Their wing sauce is tasty but the wings themselves are about 1/3 the size of what they should be and seem precooked and sitting under a heat lamp or similar. This particular location is like a big open food court with zero ambiance and brightly lit. The service was friendly and attentive but lacking a personal touch - they seemed miserable and I felt bad for them. I placed the order on their website and entered the code GOBONELESS. When my husband went and picked up our order, no free wings. He questioned it and was told by the manager he didn't qualify. It's at least clean and family friendly in there. On a Saturday, Wild Card Weekend, I couldn't believe how many children I saw. If you're at that point in your life then BWW is a place to get out of the house and not worry too much about waiting in line. But some of the food is straight-up bad. I have no idea why the spicy garlic sauce tastes like solid peppercorns. The nojito (non-alcoholic mojito) is redolent of the sugar-free aftertaste of Coke Zero; the Blue Moon I had was flat and malty, like it came from the wrong tap; we got 20 boneless wings even though the tray was marked for 15. The staff is both untrained and not considerate. We ordered a chocolate cake and it came with only one spoon even though there were two of us. All night, a particular food runner would come up and down the aisle, barking the names of the things he carried and hoping that the right table would identify itself. We go here at least once a month! The kids love it and they always have a great mixture of sports on the tv's for a great ambiance. The service has always been great and the managers are incredible when there's an issue with the app they're understanding and always helpful! First time coming to this location in Rockaway. Clean restaurant with great decor, TV's everywhere with any sporting event you can imagine. While I didn't have any food this time around, I did order a few rounds of drinks. I got the margarita, which was decent. I'm giving this location three stars because the service wasn't the greatest. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and we waited a while in between rounds. The server, while nice, seemed unfamiliar with the drink menu and had no sense of urgency to check on his tables. My nephews Mac and cheese was ice cold and the ladies rest room smelled like a rotten dead body was fermenting in there. A fountain drink, $4.50. You can get 2, 2 liters for that price; less actually and it literally costs $0.25 to make a fountain soda. Most restaurants have increased costs, so I get it, but not an average of +$4. I ordered through door dash since I'm here from out of town and didn't have a car today. Nasty, old, Unseasoned chicken. There wasn't even enough dry rub in the bottom of the container to run my old reheated chicken in. I had a few pics because I was hungry and they forgot my veggies. This location was a traditional spot, lots of televisions and modern decor. The friendly service at the bar was appreciated. There's really not a lot of variance from one place to another...great for sports with all the TV's, casual atmosphere, and the food is pretty much the same. The food was fine. Had a pretzel, corn dogs, and fried pickles as appetizers and wings for entrees. My issue is this...they literally served the entrees two minutes after they served the appetizers! I should have just not ordered the wings until we finished the apps, but come on! Our server said he was new, but the restaurant should know better. So the moral of the story is this...Go there and have a good time enjoying the games, but wait until you finish eating the appetizers before ordering the rest of your meal! read more

Let's start with standing at the counter waiting for the workers to take a break from their meeting to see us to get us a seat. Have to walk over others people's food and the way to our table. Came here around 8 pm at night for a table for two and had to wait around 10 mins. Server was attentive and made sure our order was okay and updated us whenever it would come out. The food took around 30 mins to come out as our server told us the food orders were "backed up". I ordered the classic boneless chicken wrap which tasted good. The chicken was nice and crunchy. However it was nothing too special as I could easily make this at home. The fries on the other hand were horrible. Almost all misses around lunchtime with 4 coworkers. We chose a booth among plenty of seating, then water arrived quickly. Because of the wait time, we had to rush eating and one coworker actually had to box her meal right away to leave for an appointment. Stopped by for a quick lunch between jobsites. Was seated super quickly and since it was quiet, got served and brought my food just as quick. Exactly what's you'd expect from a sports bar, brisket burger was pretty good and their red sangria is just right. Many thanks to Danielle for making it an easy and good experience. Edited to add: If you're complaining about not being seated for not wearing masks, pack it up and go. I worked in a restaurant during COVID and you are jeopardizing other patrons health and the people who are serving you. We really haven't ventured out and picked up food since the virus in March and decided it was time to (safely) expand out bubble with curbside pickup. It started with an app purchase that had a glitch and required a call to the store. Then the computers at the restaurant went down. Finally the order was placed but they couldn't take a gift card over the phone. We got there on time and had to wait for someone to come out to the car to take the gift card before they brought the food. The three star is for the lovely staff who braved the cold and were super friendly. The knocks are on the glitches, delays, and less than saucy wings that were like warm and a bit dry by the time we got home. Pretty decent service, seating is a little tight but sort of expected for the sports bars like this. I've been to BWW numerous times before this, so it's safe to say I enjoy it. The wings are pretty good, though wings and not boneless are better. Only because the boneless seem to be harder to chew, not like a nugget though I think boneless wings are overrated nuggets. I'm always a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings. The wings are on the pricey end, but it's nice for a quick fix of just about whatever flavor or spice level that you happen to be in the mood for. This location was big, spacious, and clean and service was great. We ordered 2 snack sized wings and some bacon cheese fries, and 2 cokes. This game to about $30. They were tasty and hit the spot. My husband and I stopped in the middle of our long drive because we were starving. All in all we left very satisfied and full. They also have a decent happy hour app deal.
