Burger - A cheeseburger topped with tomato slices, lettuce, and cheese, served on a bun. Accompanied by a small dish of sliced cucumbers with cottage cheese.

Old school vibe bar. Friendly service food was good not fantastic. Fish n chips was a little overdone and had a taste of older oil. It may have been an off night.

Decor - Frosted green glass door featuring a logo and the word "Pub" etched in a Gothic style, with reflections visible behind the glass.

I'm glad when St. Patrick's Day is on the weekend, so we wanted to enjoy the day at The Quiet Man Pub, and it was nothing short of amazing! First time here, but will be back. Walked in--short wait for a table--was greeted with festive decorations, lively music, and a great atmosphere. The staff was prompt and friendly; all were dressed with St. Patty's flair...the servers sporting green attire...ensured that everyone was welcomed with cheerful smiles and the Irish spirit. We sat near the band, so we enjoyed a the music, and then a gentleman walked in playing the Bagpipes, creating a festive mood. As for the food and drinks - we indulged in traditional Irish plates of tender corned beef and cabbage, bursting with flavor! Along with the Dublin Fish and Chips...both crispy and crunching outside while perfect inside! If you're looking for an authentic and unforgettable St. Patrick's Day experience, look no further than The Quiet Man Pub. However, they do have a live band throughout the week, so you can find your pot of gold at the end of your rainbow!

It's like a cheers kind of place with a well poured pint, a friendly smile. Really delicious food and a lovely atmosphere that says Morris County of the old days. Relax with the day drinkers. Enjoy the hearty fare and turn off the world for a couple of hours. No you're not in Ireland but this is awfully close in happy guests. Where everyone knows your name. In a nice way.

The Quiet Man is an absolute gem! Irish places this good are almost extinct, and TQM gets all the little things right...nice ambient lighting, excellent service, and top-tier food. The potato pancakes and Dublin-style fish and chips were so delicious. My only regret is that my Grandma's not still alive because she loved the movie and this place would have been her favorite!

The Quiet Man is an excellent local establishment, featuring excellent service, good food, and outstanding drinks :-) Tip: This place may or may not be named for a John Wayne romantic comedy released in 1952 It's tough to go wrong with whatever you try from their menu.  From my last visit, I'd suggest the French Onion soup and the Shepherd's Pie.

Long time since we've been at this favorite!

For over 40 years The Quiet Man has been a staple restaurant in Dover. This place is the epitome of what an Irish pub should be. It had been a couple of years since I've had the chance to stop in, but my wife and I were able to get here for lunch today. Even in these COVID days, it was still a pleasure to dine here. The bar is closed, but we ate in the rear dining room, the O'Hara Room. To start it off, we ordered drinks from a large drink menu. My wife had a Peppermint Stick, which is Rum Chatta with white creme de menthe, and I had a great Black & Tan. For our meals, we each had a bowl of soup, then two classics...I had Shepherds Pie and my wife had fish n chips. Everything was delicious! If you're in the Dover area, I definitely recommend giving this landmark restaurant a try!

Well well this place is a hidden jem .... Atmosphere : cozy and comfy Service : outstanding and friendly .. A friend suggested this place so we decided to check it out o be we were in the area. So here we go .. The French Onion soup was very good , it just needed a little more bread . The butternut squash soup was certainly the very best I've ever had . Nantuket Cod Filet with scalloped potatoes was simply amazing . Very very good !!!! The crusted salmon cake was not really what I expected to be honest , it was just mushy and had way to much green peppers mixed into it . They also have a bread called quiet man brown Irish bread and that must be one of the best breads I've had !! I would definitely go back. And try some other things on the menu , the only thing that bothered me was that they were sweeping and cleaning the rugs while people were having lunch / dinner . I understand everyone likes a clean environment . However that is just not the time to do that .

    Fresh Roasted Turkey Club.. Yummm

The space recently underwent an extensive renovation to provide a more up-to-date aesthetic while still maintaining its welcoming, casual ambiance and Ireland-inspired decor. The menu puts an emphasis on Irish and English pub favorites -- including fish & chips, bangers & mash, shepherds' pie, chicken or sweet potato pot pie, and corned beef and cabbage -- all of which are well-executed. Our party of four started with two appetizers -- the Roasted Brussel Sprouts ($14), served with cider whiskey glaze and bits of freshly cooked fresh bacon, and the Soft Pretzels ($12). My dining companion commented that the glaze on the Roasted Brussel Sprouts was a bit too whiskey-forward for her preferences, but I thought it was pretty good. I opted for the Fish & Chips ($28), comprised of two large pieces of beer-battered deep-fried haddock served over crispy steak fries and 'Mushy Peas', tartar sauce, and curry dipping sauces. The dish was very tasty and very filling. I wound up taking home a piece of haddock and some fries for lunch the next day. My dining companion opted for the Glazed Salmon ($28), a grilled salmon filet with a grain mustard glaze and served alongside mashed sweet potatoes and sauteed spinach, which she enjoyed very much. Although our server was handling most of the tables in our section, she was attentive without being overwhelming. We will be back soon! PRO TIP #1: Dublin Pub does have a small private parking lot that fills up quickly, but there is plenty of on-street parking on South Street and Pine Street. Bring change or use the ParkMobile app for the meters ($1 per hour) Monday through Saturday from 8am til 6PM; all street meters are free Monday through Saturday after 6pm and all day on Sunday. If you can't find a spot on the street, the Morristown Parking Authority DeHart Street garage (@ 13 Dehart Street) or lot (@ 12 Wilmot Street) are a short walk to the Dublin Pub.

At first, the maitre d notified us it would be a 30-45mins wait for five of us-- she then caught us outside to let us know since we had kids they'd be able to fit us in a booth-- shout out to Lea for her kindness and service!! We were ready to wait until closer to 30mins but we were grateful they were able to accommodate us right away especially with the busy weekend. I must say service was great, the food was great, the vibes were great. Overall such a great experience even with a busy weekend. I started off with the Dublin Toddy- delicious. It was nice and citrusy. We also started with the deviled eggs and potato skins. The seasoned bagged wings were very good as well-- seasoned well with cumin and fried peppers. They are a must try. Very filling too. My entree was the Corned Beef Hash. It was very savory and flavorful. I recommend that also, the egg wasn't over-hard or easy it was just right. We end our meal with a Dublin Drop or the "Irish Car Bomb" -- but we couldn't drop the shot in, we had to pour it in-- which still hit the spot, was a nice "end to the meal" Cheers

It was a Saturday night and it was really noisy. Anyway, we were seated right away. The server first took our wine and beer order. We then ordered the French onion soup and the Panko Crusted Goat Cheese Salad with Grilled Chicken. While we were waiting for the food, we needed water. We finally caught our servers attention and mentioned the water. Our food arrived at least 35 minutes plus after ordering. The French Onion Soup and Goat Cheese Salad were delicious. The soup had lots of yummy cheese. The warm crispy fried goat cheese medallions were so darn delish! In the meantime, still no water. We asked the server again. The water finally came. The servers were very friendly. Think the pub could use a lot more servers, particularly on a Saturday night. The inside decor is a bunch of old wood shellacked tables. Think the furnishings could use a major upgrade. The food is what really impressed me. Based, on the good food, I would give Danaher's another try, but not on a busy weekend. A large parking lot is available.
