This was another discovery thanks to the WNY Craft Brew Tour Cards from Habitat for Humanity. I have both pros and cons for my visit here which even out to a solid "Okay". Parking is on the street and I found a spot easily. The front door, not so much. Fourth time is the charm? There are several doors at the front of the building and it isn't any of those. A sign on the sidewalk points down an alleyway (well-lit with pretty lights) and the door is the unmarked one halfway down the alley. I still wasn't sure upon walking in that I was in the right place but fortunately someone greeted me pretty quickly. Menus are QR-code-only so cell phones are a requirement here. (Also... the QR code didn't work and I had to ask for help - basically just go to their website and look up the menu). The menu is on the boring side and fairly small. This is not the place for foodies looking for a unique flavor experience. That being said, my fancy grilled cheese was delicious. I had the "You're Not The Boss Of Me" Hefeweizen. It's decent, not the best I've had, but I was happy with it. (I mean, all Hefes are good, right?) Ambiance: Most seating can see the huge TVs. HUGE TVs. No closed captions (at least not when I was there). Music was a good selection and at a reasonable volume to still have conversations; it's in the background as it should be. Would love to see WNBA games here but they didn't get the right channel (although I really appreciated that they checked for me!). Staff was great - both my server and a person I assume is the manager were friendly and helpful during my whole visit. I went on a weekday evening and it was very quiet, only a few other customers. I sat indoors, because I did not discover the outdoor patio area when I first arrived - it is large and very cool. If I go back I would probably sit outside.

Haven't been there in two years but will return more often! I grew up in the Lovejoy area so nice to see new life returning! The place is a nice mix old and new modern ! I had the Bob stuffed burger which was a uniquely blended burger of Bison, wagyu, New Zealand Elk,and wild Boar topped with pickled red onions,Gouda and house made bacon mayo with fries on the side!, WOW !!! What an Amazing mix I never saw before! The wagyu gave the other meats which are on the leaner dryer side an awesome juicy, delectable taste!!! Absolutely loved it! The wife had the Beef on wick, it was awesome too!! Plenty of very lean tender piled high delicious beef! It also came with fries that were cooked perfectly crispy! They have a wide, large choice of their beers on tap! The service was relaxed and friendly, even the chef came by to talk!

The new server is the reason for the stars. It was her first night waitressing and she was great. The place was very dead on a Sunday evening @6pm. There was only one other group of four in the dining room. The manager that ( always wears a suit) was not friendly WhATSoEver. In fact, he started to bring out our food. He went up to the table next to us ( Who VEErrY clearly had their food) already. So I quickly waved a little and announced that it was our table. Clearly noticing my turkey wrap an arms distance away. He literally did not believe me I suppose, since the Manager ignored me a second time and turned walking the food back into kitchen. AWKWARD There was no one else in the restaurant besides the table that had their food, and our table of four. He read back on kitchen note, that it was indeed ours. Manager never apologized or said anything like "Sorry about that", he just looked at us like a deer in headlights while delivering our food. My Grandmother said wow ," not friendly for a manager, that is not good for business!" Also for the food. Since we are Buffalonians and WINGS are on the menu It should be a sin to Serve RANCH! I now know that watered down RANCh is even worse based on what they replaced ! Except ( luckily no food allergies) because it was not told, to us , just given. Wings (medium) needed more time to crisp skin up, & lacked flavor Turkey wrap ( was lunch meat) but ok. two others ordered the Roast beef. Sour beer named Mamma Mia & the Lemon were probably better than anything we ate. Would only return for a cocktail on the patio. Fries were

We had books our ladies auxiliary Christmas party for here way in advance. We started out with appetizers I took the Pierogi. It was two potato and cheddar cheese. Not a big fan of the combination and they were very greasy, plus it took forty minutes to get them. They had no coffee brewed so that took another half hour to get a cup. Then my choice of entee the fishy fry took another forty five minutes. Again it was also very greasy ,came with fries, potato salad and coleslaw slaw. When it came to my favorite part of the night, the desserts we were informed by the waiter that they ran out.How do you run out knowing you had fourteen people booked? Very disappointing.

This was the venue for fourteen ladies aux members for our Christmas party. I started out with the potato and cheddar cheese two pierogis. The food took forever to come , like forty minutes and it seemed over cooked and very greasy. When I asked for a cup of coffee, I was told that none was made and it had to be brewed. That took a half hour.My fish fry took another forty minutes. It was a huge piece of fish, over cooked and kinda hard.It came with fres, potato salad and slaw. They had two desserts listed on the menu, and I was looking forward to this part of the dining experience. When the waiter came around he informed us that they ran out.Just an awful way to end the very slow evening.

A return trip to a neighborhood favorite. I arrived just as dining was kicking off and was immediately greeted by the staff, grabbed a seat at the bar and put in an order for some wings a cold pint of the Lovejoy lager, which really hit the spot. Frosty cold and light on flavor. The food came out quick and immediately I had the scent of those wings hitting my nose as the plate was placed in front of me. They were of average size but perfectly sauced and cooked. Most times I struggle to put a single order of 10 down. These were a breeze. Ive had wings all over the city and I'm going to say that these deserve an honorable mention. The bleu cheese was "ok" just a little light on flavor for my liking. Solid meal once again at the brewery.

Cool historic space in Lovejoy. I've heard about this spot and was finally able to stop in. First of all the front bar is original and has been preserved and restored but still feels unique and vintage. Behind that is indoor seating for dining and it's gorgeous! I love that this spot is inside of a house within a neighborhood. It feels so different yet perfectly placed within the area. They also have a huge outdoor patio with a great mural and spot for music in warmer weather. The staff here was so welcoming and helpful with menu questions. Lots of good drink options. The food also looked good. Will have to come back to try it sometime.

Cute little place with a great patio and some really good beer lots and lots of room on the patio and plenty of room inside. Looks like with the stage. They have music on some nights.

Service was awesome our waitress/bartender was so sweet and very helpful on anything we asked questions on or needed. The bar wasn't busy at all but it was a Wednesday night. We decided to try this place out because it is on the New York beer trail. I was very happy to have stopped here and try it out because it didn't disappoint. I did have a couple suggestions on food how it could have been a little better but I definitely want to go back to try some more. I am excited to sit back on the patio outside on a beautiful day sipping some delicious beer and having some snacks during a happy hour. Or even coming back when they have some live music.

Reminiscing of my visit here for Mother's Day. We had an excellent time! The back patio was awesome. Really cool sports mural. Stage for a live band. And the inside was even better! Beautiful and clean. Very unsuspecting. Service was great And most importantly, the beer was incredible. Very rare I take multiple beers home after tasting.

The stuff peppers was delicious especially that piece of bread that came with it. The Cajun honey sriracha chicken fingers was amazing. The waitress Lydia service was on point. I definitely would come back here.

I stopped by this evening with my dog. We waited eighteen minutes and didn't get service. There was plenty of staff. Maybe they're afraid of dogs. My dog is a super friendly. Don't think I'll be back. Update: my neighbor and I went there yesterday 8/31 to see my favorite local band. Same poor service!!! We waited so long for a beer! Ugh....ridiculous how poorly managed this place is. I felt sorry for the one bar person they had. She was totally overwhelmed.

Hubs and I came for dinner with four friends a couple weeks back and though it was a splurge, I have no regrets. Everything I had was delicious. We had: Focaccia Roasted Carrots Wagyu strip Rhubarb Panna Cotta Pineapple Pavlova I also had a Freakin' Beacon mocktail. Everything was SO GOOD. That focaccia was like no other focaccia I'd ever had but was delicious; crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The steak (med rare) was perfect to me, hubs thought it was a tiny bit too rare for him. It was super tender and easy to eat, perfect char. I couldn't eat the chimmichurri it came with as it has Thai basil (not usual in chimmichurri, but I'm allergic, and the server was very good about asking about allergies) but honestly, it didn't need it. That steak stood on its own. Both desserts were delicious, but to my surprise I think the pavlova was even better than the panna cotta (and I love panna cotta). The portions were very generous and I was pretty stuffed by the time I got home. Our portion of the bill was over $200 (hubs also had some cocktails and the steak alone was almost $90) but it was so good, we'll want to come back when we're in town for sure.

I ended up playing several funny rounds of ad-libs with strangers which totally made the evening. I felt welcomed and comfortable, like I immediately was one of the regulars even my first time there. The beer is great and they have a ton of options including stuff on tap and in cans. Look for the tv on the wall for the list of current beers on tap; it's on the far left side of the bar just above the large front windows. My curly fries and chicken strips were perfection - think of the best possible version of those things and that's what I got here. This came with sides of BBQ sauce, blue cheese dip, and ketchup. I greatly enjoyed my pumpkin ale and would happily drink this again. I appreciate that there are so many vegan options on the menu (not my thing but it's nice to have a place to bring vegan friends!). A surprising very cool thing was the restroom. There is great art all over the walls! Check it out even if you don't need to, you won't regret it. I sat at the bar; there is another room with tables and a pool table and I think I spotted some hidden booths in the back. There are also a few outdoor tables out front. Lighting is pretty dim so if you're going to read a book, choose your seat strategically. General volume is on the louder side. Parking is on the street. I saw that they do trivia on Monday nights; there are a ton of flyers for upcoming events in the front window. Overall this was a very easy place to give five stars to.

The vegan blue cheese was good surprisingly cuz I don't care for the real thing at all. The fries were fine but the Mac n cheese had absolutely no flavor, my kids said to me that mine was better and they aren't that picky with food elsewhere unless it doesn't taste like anything. For that I'll still be back to try other things cuz I appreciate the effort in making vegan food for us vegans out there.

I've been on somewhat of my own personal wing tour lately and I'm glad we tried Adolf's. We came on a Monday, which is their wing special night, 75 cent wings. We arrived a little before the 5:00 PM rush so we sat right at the bar, ordered and behold, the wings were in front of us in about 5 minutes! Service was very fast and friendly. We ordered hot, and the level of heat was exactly what hot is supposed to be. Saucy, but not swimming in excessive sauce. The wings were crispy outside and juicy inside, that elusive perfectly fried wing. We opted for the homemade blue cheese, and while I liked it, I found it didn't have a strong blue cheese flavor. But they do have two choices of blue cheese type. Carrots and celery were included, not always the case with wing night specials. I would call these elite level, top 10 in Buffalo wings, maybe even top 5. The only reason that I did not score 5 stars was that there we 7 drums and 3 flats - and I am a flat guy. This usually works out well because my wife likes the drums, but this time they definitely skewed in my wife's favor. If it were not the wing special night, I might have said something, but the wings were so good I did not want to register a complaint about the lack of flats. We also ordered the hand cut fries which were hot and excellent. We definitely plan to return.

While their son Thomas is at the Bar making Cocktails of the highest Quality with some of the most unique names that I've ever heard. My 1st visit was enjoying a Birthday Dinner with loved ones in the center of the Restaurant. While going over the menu, I had my 1st Cocktail called The Ghostwriter in a tall cylindrical glass that had Gin, Herbal Liqueur, Coconut, Lime, Lemongrass Syrup & Dill. Sweet and Herbaceous. Next up was some Fresh made Focaccia Bread studded with Rosemary, Garlic, Tomatoes and Zucchini that was so Warm and Flavorful like it just came right out the Oven. You know I like to drink Beer and cook with it too, I couldn't help but get myself a cup of their Beer Cheese soup with Bratwurst and Housemade Croutons. Every single Spoonful I took was Rich with a hint of Spicy heat at the end. Next up was a plate off Duck Confit Poutine with Goat Cheese (I opted for that instead of Cheese Curds). You might look at it and see a big globby mess but what I saw and what I ate was pure Gluttonous Heaven. French Fries, bits of Rich and Tender Duck Meat and mild and Tangy Cheese which equaled a comforting Bite. Next was another Cocktail I got called the Dirty Harry (named after one of Clint Eastwood's best-known roles). Another drink that hit hard consisting of Pineapple, Doctor Bird Rum, Boomsa Herbal Liquor and Banana Shrub Jam. While waiting for my main course, I tried some of Nathan's BBQ Pork Belly Burnt Ends. Who doesn't like tender Pieces of Meat with the outside bring Crispy while the Meat inside just melts away on your Tongue. For our Entrees, everyone enjoyed something different like Nathan and Brianna having Seared Chicken with Vegetables, Mike enjoying a Burger, Rick just getting a few Appetizers, Grandma Carol eating Fish Tacos, Jimmy and Kathy enjoying a Steak. While I got myself Seared Scallops over Sweet Corn Risotto with Tarragon. This looked to me and ate like a Summer Dish, why on earth was it on the Menu during close to Fall/Winter, I don't know. But I'll say this, I loved every bite, you get Sweetness from both the Seafood and the Corn with the Tarragon at the end giving it a light hit of Licorice. Thomas kindly gave me a Complimentary Drink while waiting for Dessert called the Legislation #2. It had Rye Whiskey, Dry Vermouth, Orange Cognac and Acidic Phosphate. While it had all those Ingredients, it was a simple looking Drink with a Jurassic sized Ice Cube in it. But I will say this, this drink packed one heck of a Potent Punch. To finish off the Meal, I got myself a big slice of Guinness Chocolate Cake. One of my favorite Beers has been Transformed into a Dessert. It had such a Deep chocolate Flavor with richness from the frosting packed in between each layer. I walked over and personally thank Tab and his Crew for the great Food that night. The only issue we had was waiting to get our Checks, but other than that everything went great. Another one to cross off my list, another restaurant that I will no longer Ignore. Winfield's better be ready for some more Visits from me in the Future. !!!
