I needed a new mid-pipe on my exhaust, it had rusted through, and the dealership said it would be $1900 to fix, so they recommended I take it to muffler Man instead, they said they did this all the time. I dropped my car off, and within a day it was fixed, welded instead of replaced, for $140. Ryan, at the front desk, was super nice and friendly, and honest, and I just got great vibes from the whole place. It's a week later, the car drives and sounds great. I would definitely recommend them and will be going back for any future needs on my vehicles. I brought my vehicle in for some front end suspension work and they found some additional issues that they put on as a "Watch" item that didn't necessarily need to be done right away but that I should keep an eye on. I am glad they didn't try to push those items saying they were needed right now but the actually let me know to keep an eye on them. I did end up just getting everything repaired as I knew some of them were going to be needing to be done soon anyway. Staff was friendly and I really liked the photos that are included in your estimates showing work progress and areas of concern.

Found on yelp. 1st thing they did was a complete car inspection charging me $100. They then decided it was my oil sensor, but it wasn't, that was $200. They flushed the break system on my approval for $100 but only took the fluid from reservoir and replaced. When this place says flush, its just a reservoir fluid replacement; beware. The manager quoted $1999, I agreed but after he started said he needed another $225 for gaskets, he took $100 off. Overall, the Oil Pump work finally completed was done well thus far, but getting there was expensive and deceptive.

I live in California and found RMB after a generic search. After reading the reviews I decided to…read moretry them. My daughter lives in Okemos. WOW! My daughter's car was towed in for an evaluation and I got a call from Rod the co-owner of RMB. Not only did he tell me what he thought was wrong with the car , but he said it in a way I could understand it, and quoted me a great price! I am an educated, professional woman, but I know nothing about cars and I am sick of auto repair places that tell you something that you can't understand and get condescending when you ask them to explain (" it's OK little lady I'll take care of it")....and dealers are cost prohibitive. When I told Rod I appreciated the fact that he explained everything in plain English that I could understand, he informed me that his wife Maria (the other half of RMB) was responsible for that. Maria made him call back a client and explain after she overheard him on the phone with the woman. Thank you Maria. So to get to the point of this review....I like this couple, the repairs are a reasonable price and very good. I walked out of the shop and felt as though I had been treated fairly.....and not taken for a ride. If you are anywhere close to Lansing and need an auto repair shop try this one, you won't be disappointed.

I have nothing but good things to say about O'Donnell's repair. We have brought our car to them for…read moreone major engine repair, a suspension replacement in the front, and a simple blower motor replacement. Each repair was on a separate occasion so we have had the pleasure of doing business with them repeat times. And we will continue to use them. O'Donnells consistently gets right on repairing our car the moment we bring it in. The major engine repair was completed in less than a day's time. This repair was to re-thread the head to accept a replacement rocker arm bolt. This is no simple task, and their ability to complete the job was about 6 hours. And they did this at a relatively cheap cost which enabled us to get down the road again for many miles until we could have the heads or motor replaced. The second repair was a front shock/strut replacement and alignment, we had called around for price/time quotes. O'Donnells quote came in at the lowest cost with the highest quality parts and the time to complete the job was 2.5 hours from the time we placed the phone call to them till the car was ready to be delivered to us. Nothing short of a small miracle considering this was road-caused damage to the vehicle and what we considered an emergency repair. O'Donnells also saw this as an emergency when it came in and put us back on the road immediately. And the third repair was fairly simple blower motor malfunction. They had us in and out in a short visit. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They follow through and make sure you are happy afterwards as well. Family owned as well. And I have met the owner, who asked us ways to improve his business even though his service was on par with the highest we have ever seen from a car repair shop.
