However, there was no chance to discuss options for the parts -- I could only say yes or no to the repair with parts they selected; with other shops, I have always had the chance to say 'good', 'better' or 'best' for the parts. Also, they make a big deal of "do it all" (not just transmissions). However, that is not true -- they did suspension work but could not do an alignment in-house. It is not honest to say 'do it all' when you can not do the alignment required. I also prefer a shop where the mechanic discusses the situation, which helps me understand my vehicle. A&J apparently made a choice to not offer this service. Overall, I was not satisfied.

Brandon calls me back and said that they could have done a more detailed inspection (not offered to me) and that he spoke to Garen (his day off so I couldn't talk to him). I think that this meant they could have found the problem?
