While they may charge a tad more than others, it is worth their quality and honesty any day!

However, there was no chance to discuss options for the parts -- I could only say yes or no to the repair with parts they selected; with other shops, I have always had the chance to say 'good', 'better' or 'best' for the parts. Also, they make a big deal of "do it all" (not just transmissions). However, that is not true -- they did suspension work but could not do an alignment in-house. It is not honest to say 'do it all' when you can not do the alignment required. I also prefer a shop where the mechanic discusses the situation, which helps me understand my vehicle. A&J apparently made a choice to not offer this service. Overall, I was not satisfied.

Car quit running again later that day after they were closed and would not start. Brandon calls me back and said that they could have done a more detailed inspection (not offered to me) and that he spoke to Garen (his day off so I couldn't talk to him). I think that this meant they could have found the problem? Anyway I said regardless I would like them to replace the alternator and Brandon said there is something on the tech recommendation to take it to the dealer. So, instead of fixing my car, they would rather just charge me for an inspection and an oil change and a new set of tires (if I said yes).
