So, where to start. Had already left another review with their outstanding service when I just had questions about investing more money into a lost cause. The owner himself set me straight that that thing was gone. So obviously, straight forward and honest. So, when I unfortunately needed actual work on a good vehicle, I knew where to go. As I expected they got me in and taken care of. Also explained my vehicle was going to be not the parts cost but the idiot engineer manufacturer lobotomy labor cost. Again, honest up front. Work gets done and cost as quoted. And no surprise, surprise, surprise, G.P. hidden cost. But the bonus and only person I've ever seen do this was the red, yellow green print out with pictures. Basically, what you may have come down the line. Red being repairs or replacement recommendations for parts. But no high pressure you better do this now or else. So now you have a nice check list with photos of the parts that you in the future should keep in mind. And it isn't like scare tactics to get you to just hand over your bank account because the photos clearly show you what they are talking about. As in you still have time. Then obviously yellow being things that are starting to show their wear. And green? This is good and this and this, so you don't have someone trying to scam you later. But hey, you should be staying here. So, no scam to worry about. Still, it is a great check list (w/pictures) to stay on top of your vehicle's maintenance concerns and needs. This was only the second time meeting Jerry himself. Again, the first time with just questions and then later after the work was completed at pick up. He came out and remembered me by name and then vehicle as I was there to settle up the dreaded bill, lol. But that adds a personal touch. You are not just a money grab, yoink, thanks, get out. So again, you are actually valued for who you are. I then asked about my truck and an exhaust gasket tick. Just a cold start ten second start up and gone tick. Not the end of the world, but hey. Again, with the honesty. He asked if I could live with it. Sure, I guess. Because his words, it wasn't worth it. He could start but these so called new cheaper construction vehicles (if you know you know) it is not uncommon for a bolt to strip or worse and then you are into a whole lot more money. Now again. How many shops are going to say, save your money, when you are willing to spend it. Almost makes me want to go spend more money even if I don't have to. And I can give Scrooge McDuck a run for his money at times when it comes to being stingy. I don't normally sit down and take the time to write out what should be or what was even better. Although people will go on a rampage over a simple flea fart in their general vicinity. But I strongly encourage people to stop at Jerry's Automotive if you are going to need work done or just want a straight simple honest opinion on if anymore investment is worth the money. Want to sing more praise but people will see this is five miles long and not read it. Honest and done right. It's just nice to finally see. Thank you Jerry's Automotive and crew. I found myself with a blinking check engine light in a town I am not familiar with on my way back across the state. Fortunately my car was towed to Jerry's Automotive. Chris and his team were nothing short of amazing to me in my time of need. They were able to take a look at my car on an emergency basis and made an honest recommendation that I was probably better off starting at the dealership. Despite referring me elsewhere, Chris even offered their courtesy car to me so that I could get home and have some time to figure out a long-term rental for myself. I've unfortunately had a lot car troubles in my life and the kindness and integrity I was shown at Jerry's Automotive is not something I've experienced before. I was so impressed that I took some time to check out their Facebook page - and they are also dedicated to their local community; giving back in many ways. I still don't have all the answers on what is wrong with my car, and it may or may not be covered under warranty; if it's not, I have no doubt I'll be taking my car back to Jerry's.
