Explained situation to intake person Kory, and worked on differential fluid change. Problem persisted and we had to order new transmission ($4000) and considered $1500 labor. While they may charge a tad more than others, it is worth their quality and honesty any day!

I was very frustrated and looked up an actual car/tire repair shop. I waited 30 min for them to open but the front desk person let some employees in when they arrived. I asked if I could get my tires checked. A gentleman clocked in early & resolved my problem. They were so kind.

Having purchased an older Audi, I had to have a few repairs and maintenance taken care of to get…read morethe car into shape. Blair and his staff are wonderful people and have gained my trust and earned my business. The pricing is fair (undoubtedly beating the "stealerships" by a nice margin) and the place stays busy because of the quality of their work. University Foreign Car was recommended to me by a colleague and I would recommend them to others as well. Their VW/Audi trained technicians diagnose issues accurately and fix them in a timely manner.

Had UFCR do a couple things for me. Valvoline said the inner section of my oil filter was damaged…read more& they replaced it free. So I wanted to have it looked at make sure it was done right & figure out why/how it was damaged. Apparently Valvoline must have dropped it. The damage wasn't caused by the car or road. My car needed a total transmission flush.. they did it in a timely manner & things are working good. The reason I went to them was in the spring I had some issues & come to find out there was a recall for it. When I had called Spartan Toyota (before going tho University Foreign Car Repair) they wanted over $200 to "diagnose". Interesting there's a recall & the dealership wants $ to diagnose a recall. The folks at University told me about it & printed out the recall info thus Spartan repaired it without the diagnostic fee. Who does that? Tells you there's a recall & take it to the dealership & get it fixed free. When I came in this time for these other things (granny flush etc) they told me they had a bad review. Now that I found surprising. These folks have been in business many years & always had a stellar reputation. But I didn't use them until recently. I was very confused by them 1st telling me about the bad review. So I read it. That post after reading it seemed like somethings missing. Maybe it was someone else's card, maybe she had a previous experience that went away? But something in it seems like there's more to it. These people at University knocked hundreds off what they originally quoted me. Even during the quote and drop off. When I came back, it was even less than quoted. The work was great. I had no problem with payment with my card. They were jovial gentleman, and truly seemed like they not only cared about my car, but my budget & me as a person. Some people are just never happy unless it's free & even then....they'd probably complain

Badgley's is a combination auto repair shop and museum. It's been operated by three generations of…read morethe Badgley family, since 1948, at that location. They love to work on antique cars (although that's not their sole line of work) so there's almost always something interesting being taken apart and lovingly restored. I've been taking my cars there for 20 years, and I trust them absolutely. They routinely tell me I don't know what I'm talking about, and that what I want them to fix isn't the real problem, or it's not worth fixing. Very salt-of-the-earth. Decent, kind, concerned, ethical. When I bring in a problem that isn't within their specialty, they immediately tell me, and refer me to somebody they'd trust to repair their own cars - and I've always found their referrals to be solid too. They shop around for used parts, when that seems like the right way to go. They bought a used engine mount and held onto it for six months for me, because they knew mine needed replacing. Of course, that means they trust ME too - it has to run in both directions. Might not be the cheapest place in town, if you're trying to patch something up to get back on the road. But if you want it done right, the Badgley brothers will do it.

I honestly didn't expect a response, but since you replied, I'd like to add one more thing…read more My situation was very simple. My daughter is graduating from school, and we wanted to buy her first car in the color she really wanted. Our whole family made the trip together, driving an hour and a half to your dealership because this was supposed to be a special and exciting moment for our daughter. Your salesperson told me that the manager would not sell the vehicle through the O-Plan, so I asked to speak with the manager. Instead of simply explaining the situation and saying something like, "I'm sorry, but unfortunately, we're unable to do that because of our circumstances," I was given a long explanation about the dealership's sales, how small the company is, and other things that had absolutely nothing to do with me as a customer. That was what frustrated me the most. Customer service begins with understanding the customer. My entire family came all that way because we were ready to buy a car and hoped to make it a special experience for our daughter. Instead, we left feeling that our time and effort meant very little. There are many good dealerships out there. I will simply purchase a different color from another dealership nearby and move on. I can consider this an unfortunate experience and put it behind me. But I do hope you take this seriously and provide better training for your staff and management. If you work in customer service, kindness, respect, and empathy should be the minimum. A dealership sells more than cars. It also sells trust, service, and its reputation. When customers are treated this way, even cars that could have been sold will not be sold. Customers' time and effort should never be treated as if they don't matter. Businesses that fail to understand that ultimately hurt good, sincere customers who simply came ready to make a purchase. Don't you agree?

I would get the typical " give me an hour or so." 30 minutes from close I would get " we should have a loaner for you in the morning.", then the same dance would start all over. All those cars on the lot and not one could prepped as a loaner? During the purchase of the vehicle we were asked why we left Kia of Lansing our answer was " the car was always in service and there were no loaners available." The answer we then got was " that won't happen here, even if we have to put a dealership plate on a car and log it as an overnight test drive." I don't know if I should blame the sales floor staff for telling me that or the service department for not doing it.

Avoid Feldman Chevrolet in Lansing like the plague. This place is nothing more than a high-pressure…read moresales trap disguised as a dealership. They'll smile in your face, promise you the world, and the second they've got your signature, they'll disappear faster than your so-called "included services." The level of incompetence in their service department is honestly shocking. Appointments mean nothing to them. Communication is non-existent. And forget about them honoring anything they told you during the sale--they'll pretend they've never heard of it. I've seen more accountability at a middle school group project than I have from anyone working at this place. What really sets Feldman apart is how shamelessly they lie. They'll dangle "perks" like free oil changes or special service accommodations just to close the deal--and then act like you imagined it when you try to redeem what was promised. It's textbook bait-and-switch. To call this place unprofessional would be too kind. It's sleazy, disorganized, and completely customer-hostile. You are just a number here, and once they have your money, your value to them drops to zero. If you enjoy being misled, ignored, and treated like a nuisance for expecting basic decency, Feldman Chevrolet in Lansing is your spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor--go anywhere else. This place is a walking lawsuit waiting to happen.

My daughter's car was towed in for an evaluation and I got a call from Rod the co-owner of RMB. Not only did he tell me what he thought was wrong with the car , but he said it in a way I could understand it, and quoted me a great price! I am an educated, professional woman, but I know nothing about cars and I am sick of auto repair places that tell you something that you can't understand and get condescending when you ask them to explain (" it's OK little lady I'll take care of it")....and dealers are cost prohibitive. When I told Rod I appreciated the fact that he explained everything in plain English that I could understand, he informed me that his wife Maria (the other half of RMB) was responsible for that. Maria made him call back a client and explain after she overheard him on the phone with the woman. Thank you Maria.
