Ok so I went for an oil change yesterday and the guy who changed my oil showed me a small broken…read morepart which was the filter bypass valve. He had me take a picture of it so they knew what I was when i went to fix it. He said it was a very quick fix but needed to be done before I go home (I live in California and was supposed to be on the road YESTERDAY) he sent me to this place DeWitt service center to get it fixed. While I was there they said it would be about 30 minutes to get the part. So I went to get food with my kids 9 and 9 months who were in the car with me and came back and sat in the parking lot waiting for the part to get there. When it "came in" he said that I couldn't drive the car in the back which in pretty normal but did seem kinda weird for such a small part. So we got out and waited for probably about an hour for a 30 second fix. Then he said there was an even bigger problem. He said the who bigger part that the little piece goes into was broken and eaking oil. He said it was gonna be a close to 900 dollar fix. I thought about it for a minute and then said ok let's just do it cause I was more in mom mode. Then he said they wouldn't be able to fix it till next week. I was like well I can't wait till next week so I'll just pay for the other part. He said there was no charge because they didn't do anything since the other part 2as broken there would be no point. All while smiling and joking around with me. (I have a very friendly and joking around personlity) so I took my van and left. When I got home to my parents house in perry I told my step-dad what happened. I showed him the picture and he sent it to his friend who is a mechanic. He said he would look at it in the morning. Well it's the morning and the only part that was broken was the original part I was told and showed was broken at the oil change place which is a 31 dollar part! My step-dad told me that they were gonna make an appointment with me to fix it. Put the 31 dollar part in, wait around for 3 or 4 hours and then charge me 900 dollars for it being "fixed"!! They tried to SCAM me and not only that but took away time for me to get home as like I said I was supposed to be on the road YESTERDAY which I told them they. All they saw in this single mom was a dollar sign. I would NOT trust these guys!

Called 10/18/21 was told still working on the estimate. Since Priority is a preferred provider of my insurance company, I scheduled a date to drop it off for the repair, not concerned about the estimate. Scheduled the drop off for 11/8/21. On 11/23/21 I called my insurance company to find a new provider since my truck had not moved from the spot it was left in on the 8th and I was going to pick it up. The insurance company called Priority and suddenly, my truck was moved. I was told it would be two weeks. I called 12/7. No update and no call back. Called 12/14 and was told it's a big job and it takes time (person who answered the phone had quite the attitude) Called 12/21, was told maybe next week. Drove by on 12/29 and saw my trick sitting in their lot. Stopped in and found out it was finished and ready. Took it home and discovered the radio wasn't reconnected properly and had to take it back. Then, just this week on 1/8 found my rear tire on the repair side of my truck was loose, prompting a call for roadside assistance. They NEVER called me. It took almost 3 months for them to complete the repair although, admittedly, they didn't start 6 or 7 weeks. The work looks good but there is no way I would ever recommend this business to anyone. No communication. No service. If it's possible to give no stars, please make the change for me.

However, recently reached out for options to get my truck's rear axle rebuilt, as I did not have time and would need to purchase some of the tools if I did it myself. I made no qualms about the fact I expected there was likely gear damage and would likely need to be rebuilt. The guy on the phone made it sound they were well equipped to handle the rebuilds there. After the truck sitting all day, the got to it the next day and took almost the entirety of the second day to pull the diff cover confirm there was gear damage, and have their sales guy call with options. This is when I found out they completely misrepresented the options and they could order a reman (which I could have done and installed) or farm out the rebuild both with astronomical costs. So I had them clean, reassemble and fill the diff. This basically took the rest of the second day and still had to argue at the inflated cost for doing a diff fluid change I would never have taken to them to do if they hadn't lied. And the attitude of the guy I talked to about the bill (which was the same guy who misrepresented their capability) was insulting and in a worse mood I'd have lost my cool for sure.
