Ah yes... Michigan construction season strikes again. I was driving through a construction zone when my tire apparently decided it had officially 'seen enough.' Not long after, I heard a loud noise from the rear and immediately knew my day was headed in the wrong direction. I pulled into Goodyear around 10:00 AM with no appointment and fully expected to spend half my day there. Instead, the team took my vehicle back almost immediately, repaired my tire in under an hour, and had me back on the road before I could even properly panic. Huge thank you to the staff for the fast service, professionalism, and kindness. You all truly saved the day and turned a stressful Michigan moment into a smooth experience. After my Silverado alerted me to low air in a tire, I observed a large staple in my tread. I called the my Goodyear dealer and service center. They got me right in and replaced my tire Friendly and swift action from these workers who explained everything. I would recommend this location for all your tire needs. I had a low tire light come while driving. I went into Goodyear service, they had my pull out back and checked all tires, added air to the front 2 that needed it. This was an exceptional auto experience. I was on a road trip with my family recently driving from NYC to the Midwest. Our left rear wheel of the Highlander was low on air and required daily fills. I called a couple of hours earlier and inquired about the availability of a specific tire. The manager Kevin initially said that none of the exact kind was available, but that he was willing to check out the vehicle. When we arrived two hours later he stated he called up another wholesaler and that our tire was available and would be available the following morning (when we were also happened to be scheduled to leave). We got the exact tire and the tire gauge on the screen was finally fixed. Mind you, we had been to the Toyota Dealer in New York multiple times to get this fixed, and they were unsuccessful. I am highly impressed with the quality of the service as well as Kevin's pro-active work ethic and professionalism. Go here for your auto care, folks. They are fantastic. read more

I have used Goodyear Service for many of my cars in the past but this one is the absolute worst due to the incompetency and poor attitude of their "store manager". One of my tires took a nail in the "shoulder" (side) and couldn't be repaired so I filed a claim with my insurance company and the insurer agreed to cover the damage with a new tire. All it would take was a few calls by the service center to my insurance company but this "store manager" who was working the counter couldn't be bothered and failed to follow-up for three days and didn't bother to call me with any kind of update. Delegating responsibilty and customer service do not apparently fit the job requirements. In the meantime, I was driving around the city with a donut tire so I took the business to one of their competitors who did a professional evaluation and the tire was re-installed on my car the same day. I know where NOT to take my car for any future work. read more

Nice try on trying to take advance of my teen daughter who needed a new battery. Trying to charge her $250.00 because her 2007 Grand Prix needs a "special" battery. I had an 9 am appointment. I left my vehicle and waited until 11:45 without hearing a thing. I phoned and was told my vehicle was next in line. Ok. I waited until 3 pm. Still no word, so I called and told them I would be by in a few minutes to get my vehicle. I was then told that it was out for a test drive. I told them to get it back to the shop as I was already on my way. When I got there, my vehicle was in the exact same spot where I had a parked 6 hours ago! There was no test drive, obviously. They outright lied. I got my keys and left. Shame on you, Goodyear! You lost a customer for life (selling my stock too!). read more

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT TRUST THE GOODYEAR AT THE LANSING OR PORTAGE LOCATIONS! I have an AWD drive vehicle, and 18 months ago I damaged one tire. Went to Portage location and was told I have to buy four new tires because they could not replace just one. If they were to replace only one, it could damage the drivetrain, which is true. I spent over $800 on new tires and was sold "roadside protection plan" that would prevent me from having to go through this again. With the manager saying, "If you buy the protection plan, and one tire is damaged, we will replace all four due to the AWD." Of course, I took his word for it. Well, a week ago my wife had a tire destroyed, and we took in for repair. They wanted to charge us to replace three of the tires, stating that they cannot replace just one. I informed them of what the Portage location told us, and they said it is wrong. Called Kim at Corporate office and her solution was just to go ahead an replace the one tire. When I requested that she put her recommendation in writing, she started backtracking and requested that she call me back with a better resolution. Had we went ahead with her recommendation, it would have severely damaged our car. Goodyear's resolution to this was to either pay for the additional three tires, and they would honor the warranty for one, or you get nothing. When I brought up what the manager at the Portage location told us, she said that there is no way of proving what was said. So they sent my wife home on icy roads with a 2 and 4-year-old, on a small donut tire (after telling her she should not be driving on the donut for safety reasons) after trying to intimidate her for over an hour is how this company treats it is customers. Bottom line, please be very cautious when dealing with this company. If it is not in writing, they will not back it up. Rude and dishonest. I hope no one has to go through the wasted time and money as we did. read more

Very horrible customer service. They drilled my old tires without asking me if I wanted to keep them and they had at least 50% tread life on them. Never apologized for it or tried to compensate me for them. I would never recommend this place, not even to my worst enemy! read more

Called an hour before closing, they got me in and fixed a punctured tire for free. I will definitely shop here when new tires are needed.

came in with a vibration in car, asked them to check it - they said i needed new tires on the front (warranty replaced them for $50). left the parking lot, vibration was obviously still there. called them next day, learn that they didn't check suspension at all, and wouldn't do anything to remedy the situation (like check the suspension again, or refund the quite probable needless tire replacement). i'd recommend avoiding this place. read more
