I have had a very bad customer service Experience at this location. I purchased a set of tires there not long ago. Over a $1000 I went back later to get my tires rotated And they left the lug nut loose and nearly Ruined my wheel. Now I make an appointment and show up, They don't show Any appointment! Price gouging. Flat tire required a patch. Vehicle was towed to this location. Received a call that the tire was unable to be patched, and that all new tires would be required. Bummer, but ok if that's what it takes. $1,200 quoted price for the tire replacement, including an oil change. Oil change quoted at $120. That seemed high so I called around. Contacted my dealership to ensure the tires I would be getting would be right for my vehicle. The dealership quoted $800 for new tires, so I had it towed to the dealership. Once my vehicle arrived at the dealership, it was determined that my tire could be patched very easily. No need for new tires. Either Firestone doesn't know how to patch tires, or they thought they could lock me into buying new tires which weren't needed. Thank goodness they quoted the oil change at $120 which I know is too high, otherwise I may have fallen victim to them forcing new tires on me, which were also too highly quoted. The tires I wanted weren't available so they made a better option available to me for the same price. They also helped me with windshield wipers even though I didn't ask for them until I was at my appointment. They applied a coupon for me that I didn't know was available. They were very respectful, informative, and quick with helping me with my needs. The man at the front desk was working very hard and I appreciated how fast he was able to care for our needs. I could tell they were understaffed but they were still able to go above and beyond in taking care of all my needs. Firestone is the best shop I've ever been to. read more

This is kind of a unique review because of the circumstances surrounding how I ended up at Firestone. Chrysler and Dodge make the same kind of van. The space between the driver's and passenger's seat has a console with compartments that slide open when you apply preassure. Whatever you do, DO NOT PUT A CARD ON TOP OF THE COMPARTMENT! IT WILL SLIDE BETWEEN THE LID AND THE TOP OF THE CONSOLE WHEN YOU HIT THE BREAK! I heard it fall, but I assumed it just fell on the floor. Nope. Now, I looked online for ways to get the card out. I pulled out the entire center piece, took the screws out of the cup holders and the space underneath the radio, I literally did everything. Couldn't find the credit card. And it wasn't even mine! It was my supervisors! I was supposed to go to the gas station to fill up my rental and that was it! I drove to Firestone and the guys there really tried to help me. They said they could do everything short of tearing the console apart because the card was nowhere to be found. They spent about 15 minutes helping me, but there wasn't a thing that could be done. They tried pulling back the side panels, flashing their lights into the console... I think they even tore a part of the paneling trying to see behind it. I could have just paid them to find it, but it was a rental and credit cards can be replaced. Wish I had gotten their names because they were super helpful. And they did this in the rain. Stay far away from this place as you can. they charge you for work they don't do. 3 years ago I paid them $1000 to replace lower control arms and ball joints. I moved out of state and my mechanic here showed me that the only thing they replaced were the ball joints and they screwed that up! They put so much grease in the ball joint that it broke the seal. I only put 8,000 miles on the vehicle since then. Now I have to pay for the work to be redone and the work that they charged me for and didn't perform. I'd give them a 0 if I could. read more

These guys took real good care of me. Around 6 months ago, I brought my '04 Venture to them. I needed an alternator, battery, and serpentine belt. A while ago, for no reason, the belt came off. They put it back on. Last night, my battery light came on. I brought it to them today, and they told me the alternator failed and needed a couple of hours to get another. I'm currently waiting for my alternator to be replaced. But most importantly, I've not been charged for either incident. Top notch guys. Honest. I'd trust these guys with my grandmother's car if she were still alive. read more

Mon-Sat: 7:00 am-7:00 pm, Sun: 9:00 am-5:00 pm. It's very nice to find an automotive repair shop that has business hours for the working person. I made an appointment and said my daughter would only be in town for one day, a Saturday, and can I get her car in early? 8:00 AM. I arrived on time and they listened to my problem, told me what they could do (which was what I needed) and proceeded to work on it right away. He phoned me to say how much it would cost. I gave the go-ahead. He said it would most definitely be done the same day. I got another phone call two hours later and it was already done! The price was exactly (to the penny) what he quoted me. Jordan, Mike and Blake were all very helpful, friendly; not patronizing. Good listeners, which is important to me. Additional comment: when my daughter, a college student living in another city 2 hours away, blew two tires on a pothole, I called Firestone Lansing and explained the problem. Working with AAA, the car was towed to Firestone Kalamazoo. Staff there were awaiting her car because Firestone Lansing had called Firestone Kalamazoo to say a regular customer's kid was bringing in the car and could they please make it a priority! Update: 20k miles later and the "damaged from running flat" tire is still just fine with the same patch. Go figure. Yelp says this needs more words so I'll also mention that I haven't been back, and you should also steer clear. Also, my original review might not have been clear about the valve stem replacement for a puncture on a year old tire is ridiculous, but at least that part hasn't failed on me yet. read more

I sat for over and hour paid Over $500 for breaks and left with them squeaking loudly the very next day. Had to schedule another appointment and sit another hour for them to replace the breaks again. No apology no nothing. Just time wasted and poor service. There are too many places that have better service and quality work. They seem more concerned about volume and less concerned about quality work. Avoid this place. read more

The mechanics were extremely helpful and were very informative about what they were doing and why. They didn't cut corners and their recommendations were not designed to get all they could out of me. I greatly appreciate them giving reasons as to what could be done and why their recommendation was better than the other options presented. The process was not the fastest but I appreciate a job done right rather than one that is done well enough. read more

Went to firestone to get free brake estimate it ended up costing me 9.99 and they also misdiagnosed my battery as being low I do not know if they lied to me or just made a mistake. They were right about wheel bearing and I think brakes in rear but gave me 600 dollar estimate for rear brakes. I think they are right about some of the work but stay away from battery work here they do not know what they are doing. read more

The customer service here is excellent. The competency leaves something to be desired. They will back their work and redo the same repair multiple times. I just don't have the time for that. A tire company should know how to fix a tire the first time. After being a patron of many years and having these issues on multiple vehicles, I am moving on. read more

These guys are awesome. I was in town visitng family and found my tire less-than-full when I went to drive home to Detroit. They got me in at 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday (pretty much the only place open) and took care of me right away. They didn't upsell one thing and were extremely nice. Bonus, you can walk to a Biggby from there. I'll come here again if I need auto work done while I'm visiting home! read more

Bad! I had an appointment at 11:00, got there at 10:45, they said they were running 1/2 hour behind and it would be an hour before the car was done (11:45 Oil Change). That was fine. They also changed a light bulb in the license plate. They were not done until 12:40- they never apologized for my wait, they treated me like I was the problem. I was very nice to them even though I had to wait so long, but they were not nice back. Poor service conduct. I will not return to Firestone. read more

I have never written a review of a company so that should tell you how serious to take this. I brought my car in for nothing other than a new set of tires and a battery since my current battery was dead that same morning. When I went to pick up my car I noticed it started and ran a bit funny (previously shown zero symptoms) so I asked them to look at it. They tell me they need their lead tech to look at it on Monday morning. I received a call that next Monday and was informed I needed the throttle body replaced at a cost of $700. I said no to that recommendation as I felt uneasy about a repair of that size when my car ran perfectly fine upon arrival to their shop. After that I received a call that my car magically started and ran fine! Imagine that! I took the car to my mechanic friend who checked it out. He noticed the clamps on the hose leading to the throttle body had been loosened. Furthermore the codes that the tech at firestone showed me were no longer appearing. Wow, crazy huh. I have since driven 200 miles on my car in 3 days with ZERO symptoms of a failing throttle body, I know that because I researched the symptoms. I am completely convinced that I was trying to be taken advantage of. They seen someone able to spend a significant amount of money on tires and a new battery and thought they could get me for more. It is my personally recommendation that if you are considering bringing your vehicle to this location that you find another shop to go to. They are nothing but crooks. Not to mention the customer service i received from "Tyler" was awful. It's like the guy didn't have a clue who I was every time I talked to him, which was about 6 times starting from ordering my tires until pick up. I haven't even talked about how they only had 3 of my 4 tires ready for install (which I was told about 2 hours After I dropped the car off). I believe that was just a ploy to get me to leave the vehicle there overnight so that they could attempt to get me on the throttle body job. Needless to say I am extremely displeased with the way I was treated at firestone and the thought of them doing the same to someone who doesn't know better is appalling. If you choose to so business with them good luck, you've been warned. read more

Save yourself the trouble and bring your vehicle somewhere with real professional mechanics who are not afraid to do the tough jobs. I've brought multiple cars and SUVs to this shop and they either misdiagnose the problem or give a sky high estimate in hopes that you will go elsewhere. Most recently my wife was told that an AC repair had to be done at the dealer because the body had to be separated from the frame on my UNIBODY Jeep commander. Turns out the leak was just in a hard to reach place that they didn't want to fuss with. read more
