Dishonest pricing & bad service. As a woman, they spoke down to me & claimed i don't understand the real things that my car needs fixed even though i was very specific with the service that i wanted. Run, don't walk, to Belle Tire at Frandor if you are in need of tire service. I had an emergency repair that needed to be done in order to make a return trip home to Pennsylvania. Flynn Tires told me the tire was irreparable but didn't stock the tire size I needed. Firestone had the size I needed but refused to fix just one tire; they insisted I replace ALL FOUR at a cost of $1800. Belle Tire went the extra mile to find me the correct sized tire from a different location, sent a guy to go pick it up, and then were able to instead repair my existing tire and refused to charge me. The people running this business are quality professionals and I am absolutely grateful. read more

Decent first time experience! I didn't feel lied to like I have in the past getting tires from somewhere.. He did at first give me the option to replace 3 tires ..which.. honestly the One was the only one that Needed to get replaced.. the other two can wait another month or two.. They aren't too old, I got them the year before last. The tread is coming up on where they are recommended buying new ones.. but they have a bit to go yet. Other than that my appointment went as expected and they hit the time frame within an acceptable window. I will be back for the tires but not right away. read more

I hate to give the Pennsylvania St in Lansing MI Store any stars. I knew they were lying about some repairs I ASKED THEM TO REPLACE MY FRINT RIGHT TIRE AND BOUGHT TWO TIRES THAT DAY THEY REPLACED TEO TIRES IGNORING THE ONE I SPECIFIED NEEDED REPLACEMENT . I was also told I need a control arm and brakes all around. For $1400 they could do it now . Well I took my car to another shop since I wanted to be sure. My tire was flat so they fixed it for free! The next day it was flat again... so I brought it back and they fixed it again. The guys were very nice and did their best to help me understand the problem, but essentially nothing was wrong. So hopefully it will hold and be great again. I purchased new shoes from this Belle Tire location and have never had an issue with them in a little over a year now. They did a great job when they changed them and they disposed of my old tires. I also had a random tire in my backyard that came with my house when I bought it and they took it back to recycle for the low price of $2. They offer free air in the back of the parking lot if you need to fill your tires up and we have found this particularly useful in the winter. Lastly, I like their front door drop box where I can leave my key when I drop off my car at night for them to service the next morning. read more

The worst Belle Tire I have ever been to--absolutely incompetent, sexist, and disrespectful. My girlfriend came in because she was low on power steering fluid, and they replaced a hose in the system. Instead of conducting the simple repair, they managed to severely exacerbate the problem, and I will now likely have to replace the entire system myself. Instead of accepting responsibility for what was clearly their own mistake, they decided to place the blame on my girlfriend. They claimed that she ran her car without any power steering fluid for far too long, and that's what caused the problem. I checked the fluid before they even looked at the car, and it was low, but clearly not out. It seems as if they botched the original repair, ran the car without power steering fluid pumping correctly, and caused this new problem themselves. They charged her $90.00 in labor for what was easily a 20-30 minute fix. In addition they charged $90.00 for a part from NAPA, which is clearly listed for only $25.00 on their website. DO NOT COME TO THIS BELLE TIRE. read more

Just want to advertise for Belle Tire. I just came from there. My car kept posting low tire pressure. Belle Tire has the BEST tire pump and it is FREE. it tells you when you get to the full measure. I took my car to Belle Tire to see if I needed tires fixed or replaced. They checked and did a "seal and clean" and did it for FREE!! Went to Belle Tire for the first time today, low air in tire, wanted to get it checked out. I had a screw in it. They plugged and there was no charge. Another tire repair service told me the slow lead in my tire was caused by a large screw and given its location could not be repaired. Using their website, I determined that Belle Tire had an exact match and booked an appointment the same day. I went to the bright and comfortable lounge area and waited for them to complete the work. Twenty minutes later, the service manager called me over to tell me that as much as he would like my $300, they could fix the tire for free. Purchased new wheels and tires. Paid appropriate price, not super cheap. All was pretty good. Lost a center cap to one wheel. I actually walked into the store on Pennsylvania Ave and spoke with the manager who pulled my account up and ordered new center cap tie downs. You would think that's the end of the story but no. I never received a call that they came in. Weeks later my husband calls them, they act like they have no idea what is being asked- as if I never walked in the store and had a conversation with them! The tell my husband they will get back with him. They never do. Now a couple weeks later I call back and the employee still has no clue. I've since called the company that makes the center caps and turns out they are on back order. Too bad no one at Belle tire can be bothered to call and update a customer. I went in to get my winter tires installed yesterday. They did not put enough air in the tires before I left. Each tire supposed to have ~40 psi of pressure, but the air pressure after they installed my tires are 35 psi for 3 tires and 32 for the last one. Be careful, the snow might not kill you, the low tire pressure will! read more

They STEAL money from people. They will charge you an astronomical price for "repairs" that do not even need to be fixed. And then when you ask them why the issue is STILL happening, they will find another reason to CHARGE YOU ANOTHER ASTRONOMICAL AMOUNT! I never wanted to write this review, but Belle Tire kept sending me surveys asking me regarding my experience . So here you go , let's start with the South Lansing location. I have been a customer to Belle Tire for years, the reason I kept going there is because (James and Shawn ) . Last year only , I spent more than $3200 having major repairs done at Belle Tire . These two gentlemen were wonderful , professional, honest , and everything you want your mechanic to be . Last year I started seeing a new guy working there named ( Felix) . He's the opposite of what I have mentioned above . He's untrustworthy, unprofessional, always talking in condescending manner . I took my vehicle for alignment which I have a one year warranty on . He checked it and told me that alignment can't be done since I have some parts needs to be replaced. Due to the fact I don't trust him , I took my vehicle a month later to Frandor location. Nolen a gentleman who works there told me he can't do it since "there is a bolt for adjustment has been smashed by a hammer " those were his exact words . So I called south side location asked for the manger "Robert" . He was very polite, asked me to stop by to talk . I did the following morning . He said " I need to check with Nolen , leave the car and I'll call you ". He called me later telling me my vehicle is ready !!!!! ( RED FLAG !!!) I came to pick up my car and asked him if anything was replaced? He responded " no , but you all set , we got your alignment like you wanted . Have a good day " . How come my vehicle needs some parts in order to have an alignment, yet all the sudden, it doesn't need anything? BIG RED FLAG . So I took my vehicle and decided not to do business with south Lansing store ever. This month , I took my another vehicle to the dealership to get it checked and have oil change. Then after I left the Dealer I stopped at belle tire in Frandoro to get an alignment since my vehicle needed one . The Dealer checked and wrote down everything needs to be replaced, sway bar links were not mentioned. At the time of pickup , Nolen printed me a receipt and ask me to pay , I chose the $96 . I notice the alignment diagram still have two tires marked with red and there is some writing . I waited a little hoping that he's going to elaborate, he didn't , so I asked what's up with these two (pointing to the marked tires). He answered " yeah , the technician couldn't do these two due to one has a sway bar link broken and the other one has rust that we couldn't adjust. You would think a shop call you before they do a service if there is something going on that prevents the job to be done right ? Nope , no one called , and they just did the two tires without even telling me, I would have not done the alignment if I knew something broken. So I took my vehicle and went back to the dealer across the street asking regarding the sway bar links . The technician told me that both links were totally fine and he didn't see any break when he inspected. He's a human being , he might miss that , not saying belle tire did that while doing the alignment. What made me suspicious is they didn't write me an estimate like they always do , neither cut the price to half since they only have done two tires, yet charged me for four tires alignment. I called the store and asked to speak to " Chuck" the manager . I have known chuck since he was managing south side store . He denied that they touch the sway bar link . I kept taking to him explaining to him my story , including the south side experience. He told me he's going to talk to Robert , what happened in the south side was " SKETCHY " in chuck words (Phone call should be recorded and management can verify this conversation ). After long conversation, he asked me to bring the car to see what he can do . At this point , I lost trust in both locations. I took my vehicle to a local shop , got both sway bar links replaced. Costs me $150 and a day missed from work , happened when you trust the wrong people . When I picked my car from the mechanic, I went to see chuck , showed him the parts (the old sway bar links) , he said it does look old , while my mechanic says it looks fresh break . He said " they should've wrote you an estimate before you leave " those were his exact words another RED FLAG . Anyway , chuck was very professional, I always liked him , he refund me the full amount , gave me his card , and told me he did an alignment , and the car should be al set . That didn't work, My vehicle kept pulling to the right when I left the shop , so I took it to another tire shop which they got it done perfectly. Friday , I picked up my winter tires that I have them valet and got my tires rotated , and that is the last time I set a foot in Belle tire shops . That's my awful experience with these two shops which I have no trust and will never step a foot there neither recommend anyone to do anything pertaining to cars . read more

Place is a clown show. Rear right tire kept getting low pressure so took 2018 Escalade for 4 new tires. Paid $1,400 plus alignment. Was told rear right rim had a small crack so they cleaned it up and put new tires on until we could get a replacement rim. Get the vehicle home and rear left tire immediately starts losing pressure, while the others are overinflated. Figured they had put the bad rim in that spot so we called and they assured us it went back on rear right and apologized for overinflating the tires. So we went back to replace the bad rim (rear right) and take care of what was going on the rear left. Said they cleaned up rear left and reinstalled tire. Picked up the vehicle after paying $660 for new rim on rear right. Get home and rear left tire is immediately losing pressure. Wife goes to put air in and sees an object stuck in tire and a small bulge next to it. Take it back in today and manager asks me if I "know how many people drive straight home after leaving there and get a nail in their tire?" Also says corrosion on a 4 year old tire is common, and that the bulge was from an impact, yet it was right next to the object stuck in the tire. Mind you, the rear left tire was perfect before we went there. None of this makes sense. What are the odds that we leave a tire shop and immediately lose air in a new tire? Then reinstall and immediately get an object and impact damage? Had we hit something I would be the first to pay the price and accept responsibility. BTW this is my first ever negative review, as I', not in a habit of trashing a company even when not always getting good service. So he tells me I can buy the protection plan for $43 per tire, so I figure roughly $182 with tax (round up to $200). Compared that to over $300 for new tire and told him to go ahead. Get done and my bill is over $300 with some BS excuse to my wife. Great business decision Belle Tire! I have three personal cars, three work trucks, and five trailers. Professional and courteous staff. I've only been here twice for emergency fixes after nails punctured my tires. Both times I was treated respectfully (which for me personally is rare case as a young woman stepping into an auto establishment). Last time I went in knowing that my tires are near the end of their life-span. No one tried to push any sales on me and only gave suggestions and answered my questions. Took almost 3 hours for an oil change. Was told roughly half an hour wait. I understand they specialize in repairs over maintenance but that was ridiculous. 6 people came in after me and left before me. I just happened to be driving by Belle Tire.
