I had looked at several other storage facilities in the area when I was selling my house and moving into an apartment and needed to store some of my stuff. 10x Self Storage beat all of the rest that I looked at. The manager that I first met with was excellent and and explained the whole process to me who hadn't rented a unit previously. The facility is easily accessible and conveniently situated with lots of parking. It is climate controlled and the inside access is great as opposed to other facilities which only had access from the outdoors and were not climate controlled. Previously, I was at a competitor. I had a small 5x10 unit, outdoor access, not climate controlled, and part-time attendant. I went there because it was close, and they had a "first month free" offer. I never actually got that free month, and they raised my rates twice in a six month period by a large amount. At first, it was $85/month, then two months in it was raised to $133/mo; then I got a notice in November that it would be raised to $180/mo right before Christmas. I decided it was time to move out and find some place better. I got a unit at 10x Self Storage on Pullman Street. The unit was 10x10 (actually a little bigger), indoor, and climate controlled. At $175/mo, it was a tad cheaper than my previous unit with way more benefits. They offered 50% off for the first three months, and actually stuck by the offer (unlike the previous place that never gave me the promised free month). I used the 10x10 for a year, then downsized to a smaller 5x5 unit at $59/mo before moving out (I no longer needed extra storage). I really appreciate a company that doesn't bait-and-switch, and that doesn't get you into a unit only to jack your rates up. I found 10x to be an honest business, top quality, and a pleasure to do business with. I recommend them, and would also use their facilities again.

I needed more space during that time and they were quite full but they did manage to find me the right size space that fit into my budget. They didn't have any discounts to offer, but the value of the spaces I rented was well worth it. I had also rented U-Haul trucks when they used to have them. They don't have them anymore, but my experience with their trucks was seamless and easy. I was able to get all my stuff moved in and the truck returned in one day. This Storage Facility is the best one I have ever been the customer of.

The building was secure and there were cameras everywhere. Driving around it and parking were easy, and the units are relatively easy to find. The GM, Laura, gave me a tour and helped me pick the right size unit for me (a smaller one). Laura also made sure I had no trouble getting in the building with my personal security code. Signing the agreement was quick and easy and Laura was patient and knowledgeable, answering all my questions. I'll update this again after my lease term is up, but I don't anticipate any problems based on what I saw.

I am storing my beautiful RV in their back parking area which is paved and well lit. I have only stored her in a covered heated garage in the past,so I am nervous about outside storage. Now that I am feeling more confident that I have this great storage spot. And December rent is free! The manager is very helpful and organized as well! I have seen plenty of storage places in the last 4 years, and this is definitely a winner!

We had to keep his stuff in storage for 3 months. The facility is outside of the City limits and easy to get to. Its a very quiet location and very large in size. Cost was reasonable, and much cheaper than the city competition. Has plenty of carts to move your stuff into an elevator. Has great pull-in garage area for unloading. Staff was very friendly and all transaction management is web based. A1 in my book.

When my mother died during open heart surgery at Christmas last year I had to hire someone to move…read moreher things to my home and close out her affairs. ideal Movers attempted to take advantage of this situation and charge me $5000 more than what was initially agreed upon after sending pictures to the broker and to the Movers plus having a three-way conference with Ideal Movers and the broker. In the conference, by both of them, I was told "Unless there is a golden calf in the living room your invoice will not increase." on several occasions I asked the broker to speak with the movers and I got the runaround and basically got one phone call an hour before they were supposed to be there from Ideal Movers. in this phone call before the movers even got to my mother's condo they were trying to hustle me for more money, talk over me, steamroll me and intimidate me. Once they were all there they stayed for three hours in their truck arguing with me and it went from bad to worse. They tried to con my uncle into signing an acceptance invoice that they would do the job for $6000 after I refused to pay $8000, and then tried to con me and into sending a text message that I canceled. They told me I would never see my deposit back from the broker and that they had other jobs the next day when they were supposed to be working in my mother's condo that weekend packing and loading their truck. At one point they attempted a $5542 proposal to take only one bedroom of furniture, a few Pyrex bowls and a coffee table. This moving company is a complete scam, the owner is in Israel and good luck reaching him. It is a felony to attempt to coerce and threaten a federal employee. They have been reported to the Better Business Bureau as it was such a traumatic and unprofessional experience rife with racketeering schemes to intimidate and extort money-- particularly out of women.

ASAP accommodated me and adjusted based on a change in the closing date on my house. I had "stuff... lots and lots of stuff".. going to 3 different locations. They were so incredibly understanding and patient and frankly calming. John was in constant communication in advance to make sure we were on track and calmed me down when I was 8 days into packing all this stuff and still had a long way to go!!! ASAP showed up on time and worked full out for as long as it took to get the job done - not once did they complain or stop. The team were all incredibly respectful and communicated every step along the way!!! It's impossible to express in words without seeing it for yourself... these guys never stopped. I consolidated a 2,000 Sq Foot home into a tiny NYC apartment and 2 storage units. I don't know how they did it but it's organized and they got it all to fit and didn't break a thing.
