I have no pictures to share because it's a propane filling company and I think it would be weird if the delivery person saw me in the house snapping away lol We have had DiLeo has for 2 years now after moving into a new home and needing propane services. Unacceptable Pricing Practices for a General Contractor As a general contractor who buys and sells homes in areas without natural gas access, I depend on propane services, and Dileo Gas is making that difficult. Incredibly, I was charged $4.25 per gallon this summer--higher than the $4.00 per gallon I paid last winter. This kind of price gouging is completely unacceptable. It's absurd that during a season when demand is lower, I'm being overcharged in my own home. As someone in the industry who manages multiple properties, I expect fair and consistent pricing. Dileo Gas has proven to be unreliable, and I'll be looking for alternative providers for my projects and personal use. I advise others to do the same. read more

There service was good until I found another supplier for propane that was over $1.00 per gallon cheaper. They wouldn't negotiate so I switched to the lower priced vendor. Then out of the blue, without notifying me, they charged me $105 to pick up a near empty tank belonging to them. It was already disconnected, just had to take it away. Then they said I had 2 tanks, I never did, always only had 1. They took the money out of my fuel assistance, isn't that just great. Be very cautious of the fine print with this company. read more

We recently renovated our kitchen and converted our electric range to a gas cooktop. The team at Dileo Gas was easy to work with, efficient, and on time for delivery. We purchased a propane tank, which they set in place and connected to the newly installed gas line. In addition to the cooktop, they connected the tank to our grill. With such a complicated project, it was nice to have this one aspect be on budget and relatively simple thanks to the Dileo crew. read more

I requested a hold on my auto refill in the summer due to a birds nest. When I called in October for a fill, I requested to be put back onto auto-fill. I confirmed before hanging up that I was switched back to auto fil. Fast forward to December and I am out of propane/heat! When I called on a Monday morning, they charged me $150 for an emergency fill even though it was their fault. When I asked to speak to a manager, the person answering spoke to the manager and he had refused to waive the fee. I asked to speak to the manager directly and was told he wasn't on site and he would call me. NEVER CALLED BACK AND IT TURNS OUT THIS IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE ACCORDING TO ANOTHER EMPLOYEE. What's not to love about DiLeo Gas ! You will not find a better home heating company to do business with. These guys treat you like Family instead of a number. Deliveries are always right on time with the most professional drivers. The propane price is half of what I was being charged from another local company with no rental fees or "low usage fees" I called for a delivery Sunday evening and the truck showed up at 830 am Monday morning. I have had a good experience with Dileo Gas and would recommend them to others. We recently converted from oil to propane and decided to use Dileo because they allowed us to purchase the gas tank (underground) outright (instead of a lease) and have deliveries made on an on call basis. This way we were not forced to use the same gas company forever. Dileo's gas pricing has been very fair and the service is very responsive. First, do *not* use traditional propane vendors: I was shocked to learn that propane vendors won't deliver to a residence unless the homeowner is renting a regulator from them, or the homeowner owns a ASME-certified regulator. That means renting a regulator from a vendor effectively locks you into using only them for all propane deliveries, so vendors only care about getting and retaining customers rather than selling propane at a fair price. I called local vendors (incl. Sub******n, Lor**n, Ost****n, Ame****s, and a couple others). They all had different confusing pricing schemes, with some selling propane below market rates but adding delivery charges, others selling at market rate but adding "service fees" based on annual usage, and all sorts of other shenanigans. It was a confusing mess of high-pressure, low-context sales. You'll pay a lot to change vendors once you've had one install their rental equipment. So vendors squeeze profits from their locked-in customers, keeping them right at the edge of cancelling service. The "industry norm" is a racket...it does not follow the free market. Why to use DiLeo: DiLeo Gas is the *only* place around (I made a ton of calls around) to buy your own MA-certified residential propane regulator and tank. It's a family business, now run by the sons Harry & Paul. They sold me everything I needed and even did the installation. They delivered awesome customer service. I shop around for rates whenever I need a refill and always end up choosing DiLeo because their rates are within a few cents of the lowest rates out there. read more

Best prices around and always timely deliveries. When I was looking around for a house we called them because it was heated with propane. We needed a little bit for a home inspection. The owner personally came out to put enough propane in so we could move forward with the inspection. I did business with a large propane supplier for several years and finally got tired of ripoff prices from a business that didn't really want to service small batch buyers. I called Dileo. The delivered price of my propane plummeted by more than 2/3, and now I'm dealing with people who know me, and respond immediately to delivery requests. If you're renting your tank from a large supplier and buying your propane from them, you're wasting your money. What you'll save when you buy your tank and your propane from Dileo is almost equal to the cost of one fill up from the larger company from which you rent the tank. In a little more than one delivery, you'll get the cost of the tank back, and you'll be dealing with very reliable and friendly people. My only regret is that I didn't make the change much sooner.
