Moving is the worst. I think you and I can agree on that. I gave up halfway through packing for my latest move and called M&M. Despite only three days notice they showed up and expertly packed up my one bedroom apartment in just over five hours. The movers were wonderful. They packed up all my furniture very securely. They also carefully sorted my smaller items into boxes. I had a projector screen mounted ten feet up and they took it off the wall. The company stored all my stuff for ten days for free. They then brought it to my new apartment and had it unloaded in just under two hours. The crew was the same and were very on top of asking me where I wanted things. Everything arrived safely. Even my wine glasses and glass blowing projects had been packed and arrived safely. Nothing was missing or broken. I felt their fees were very reasonable. I tipped 10% of my total bills for both moves to each mover each time. They don't charge for storage, just a man hour of handling time. There is also a three hour minimum when they show up so there is no negative to having them help pack up. Overall the prices was less than I had budgeted. The movers where nice and professional. They worked very hard the entire time. I will be using this company again! read more

I was so relieved to find M&M when I was searching for movers in the expensive Boston area - it seemed like everyone was charging $100 to drive out to my area. So when I found M&M was reasonably priced - I was overjoyed - but I did not even understand the value I was going to get. I was loading a POD to move across country. I scheduled the movers in advance to come in the afternoon - when the POD delivery window shifted late, they were responsive and helped move their arrival back an hour to accommodate me, instead of charging me for the hour (which I have definitely had moving companies do before) - which was so helpful. The moving team was fast, efficient and creative. When we realized that my POD was woefully too small for all my furniture - they thought quickly and helped me come up with a plan to get another POD that they could load directly into. I have moved several times but have never had movers that went above and beyond in such a meaningful way. I highly recommend using M&M. read more

I'm sorry to say I was very disappointed in M&M movers. They packed and moved our belongings from our house into storage and then from storage into a new house. Initially, we discovered that a bag of costume jewelry was missing. We decided not to report it or make a claim that would have required recalling every piece (there were many) and producing receipts or other evidence of the cost. As time went by, we discovered other missing things, most importantly two very large and beautifully framed portrait photographs of my husband's great grandparents. At that point, I called the owner of M&M and left a message asking if there was a lost and found of sorts at their storage facility or a way to find out if the boxes would have accidentally ended up at another customer's house who moved during the same time period. I made it clear I was not interested in pursuing a claim since these were priceless heirlooms. The owner did not call me back. Enough said. read more

I stored my items here for a year. They had moved my things from an apartment to their warehouse. They lost a large piece of glass that went over my dresser, as well as some boxes of my kitchen items. I called about this multiple times and they pretty much said there's nothing they can do about it. I think they should have offered to refund the missing items, at the bare minimum, considering I spent about 1,800 dollars on storing my things there over the past year. It's not cheap. When I was there taking my things out of storage, a young guy with a major attitude was extremely rude to me, snide, and claimed to be the owner of the business even though I had already talked with the owner and knew that it was not him. Although the facility itself is nice, they lost some of my items, didn't take any ownership of that, and they have at least one employee who doesn't know how to talk to customers... especially ones who have been loyal to the company for years and spent a lot of money there. I will not be utilizing their services again in the future. It's a shame because some of the people who work here are incredibly courteous and respectful. Moved twice in the past 6 months in the pandemic. Company was great and professional! Call with confirmation day before. Updates throughout whole process. Got the move done way faster than we expected and moved everything we asked. We did full service move so they packed up everything and moved for us. Team of 4 packed up everything from 9 am until about 1230 pm and moved to our new location. Also were willing to take away boxing and supplies as we unpacked and moved to the rooms we wanted items. I used M&M movers this week and highly recommend them. The two movers they sent to move my one bedroom apartment furnishings and boxes were outstanding. They arrived on time and worked efficiently together non-stop from start to finish in a reasonable amount of time. This was my first time using movers so I packed as many of my belongings as I could before they came to try to limit the cost as they charge by the hour. Their hourly rate was reasonable and is cheaper on weekdays. There is also a 3 hour minimum. My move took 3 hrs 45 min and there was an additional minimal charge under $20 for some supplies they used. They were worth every bit of the cost. Online recommendations for tips I read suggested around $30 for each mover. I guarantee you will so impressed that you will want to give them more! read more
