Was so excited to try this deli out after reading an article about it. So disappointed. I ordered 4 sliders and each one was awful. Also ordered the pot roast sandwich which arrived half assed and my Postmates delivery person said they didn't really have enough to make a full sandwich but they pulled "enough" together. Which equaled old dried up meat, soggyand it was skimpy. I'd rather have had no sandwich than one I paid full price for that was terrible. Bread on that sandwich tasted "off" and after 2 bites I tossed it. Salami slider was sooooooo greasy. Again to the trash it went. Cheese on the ham slider was super greasy also inedible. Corned beef had so much fat on it that I didn't even try it & the brisket was dry Will never order or dine in here again. and inedible. read more

I'm so happy this deli has opened in my neighborhood! The service was friendly and quick. I ordered the brisket sandwich and a bag of chips. The inside is clean and simple. There's skateboard artwork hung on the wall and they are beautiful to look at. They offer various sandwiches, sliders, and salads. I took my to go order home and it came on the softest bun and bbq sauce on the side. The brisket was so tender it was falling apart and didn't need bbq sauce because the meat was flavorful on its own. I used the bbq sauce anyway and my amazing sandwich became one of the best brisket meals I've ever had. I can't wait to try other sandwiches from here!! read more

Atmosphere/service: Placed in a residential area it is a nice quiet environment. The cashier was very informative and helped me out as I hadn't been here before. It was clean inside and various sports memorabilia on the walls. He pointed out that it was happy hour for sliders, $2 each. I went with the Brisket (actually not on the menu but he told me I could order it), pulled pork, and salami. Overall 3 sliders and a fitz's was $8.40ish. Food: The sliders were of good size, I could have done without the salami. Salami and mustard isn't a good combination, the quality of the salami didn't seem too hot, and the sweetness from the roll overwhelmed the natural sweetness of the salami. Felt like something I would have my mom pack me going to school when I was younger. The brisket sandwich had quite a bit of meat, and so did the pork. Those were pretty good but the brisket could some more sauce. They crisp up the rolls which is nice, but not nearly enough in my opinion. Comments: I will be back to try their main sandwiches. Nothing really stood out in flavor as being exceptional but that might just be because I only got sliders. And for the price it was good! read more

I finally made it over to Bubba's today (April 7) and tried their Cuban sandwich. SO SO YUMMY!! I have a feeling the Cuban sandwich is going to be one of those items at Bubba's I'll stay with for a while because it's just that good. This is the description from the menu: Smoked pork, maple glazed ham, and pickles served with swiss and spicy Cuban mustard on french bread. It was an amazing combination of perfectly tender pork, slightly sweet ham and a great semi-spicy mustard with a sort of pickle relish in it (that's what it looked like). SO good. I wasn't going to eat the whole thing but it was hard not to. The portion was great and to me seems like a pretty unique item. I don't see a lot of Cuban sandwich options around town. The owner was so nice too when I ordered. They close at 4 pm and I didn't start my order online till nearly 10 till. When the order went through online it said it wouldn't be ready till after 11 am the next day. I was a little bummed but thought I had ordered too late and was thinking I'll just keep the order for the following day and figure out something else. He ended up calling me because he noticed the pick-up date. He asked if I'd actually like the order for today (the day I was ordering) so he stayed a little longer to make it for me and he couldn't have been more accomodating. Food was great! My fiancé and I had the pulled pork an it was delicious. This was my fiancé second time within two days of going. His first time he had the brisket and was raving about how good it was so it enticed me to want to go an I wasn't disappointed. They don't have the biggest menu which is totally fine sometimes to many options is over whelming. Although the sandwich was filling I just wish they had some sides to go with the entrees maybe a combo. Fries or something like that would of been nice to have with the delicious pulled pork. Whoever worked this Sunday did a superb job handling our food when grub hub didn't show. Manager took it upon himself to deliver. Me and a buddy both got a meatball sub and Greek salads. I stopped in a couple of Saturday's ago during the Missouri Valley Conference. I got the Cuban and a cup of chili. The pulled pork was juicy and had nice bark. The bread and mustard really made this sandwich pop, it was warm and fluffy with a nice toasted crunch. After many months of waiting, my kids finally (and my wife and I)got the chance to eat here, especially since we live literally on the same block as them. I had the Brisket sandwhich and it was extremely delicious! The meat was so tender and flavorful it melted like butter in my mouth. My wife had the pot roast sandwhich & it was a meal of itself. Absolutely delicious. Was not even aware they existed until seeing an interview on Channel 2 with TIm Ezell. I'm SO glad I happened to see this. What a great find. I wanted the brisket SO bad I waited 2 days and drove over on a Friday because I work EVERY weekend (Sat, Sun, Mon) and they are closed by the time I get off at 10pm. Add a few more sliders so we are able try all the sandwiches to sample before purchasing the large version. So far very delicious. Do the brisket more than just the weekends. the sliders are great... I've had the brisket dip twice now and it tastes great but both times it has given me an upset stomach and diarrhe.
