We tried bacon and wild shroomin' burger and both were tasty. Bubba's 33 is said to be a family friendly atmosphere so we went with both our young kids and it was just too loud with the music. When I went to bathroom for diaper change the music was even louder you can't hear anything. This isn't a deal breaker because the drinks and food are worth it but having a more regular volume on the music would've made the experience more enjoyable. read more

Bubba's 33 is a great sports bar and burger/pizza owned by the Texas Roadhouse corporation, so you know the food is gonna be good. This is a fairly new location in the Alamo Ranch area, off of 1604. So it gets busy!!! My advice is to go early or get on the waitlist before you head out. We went on a Friday night and got to the restaurant by about 5:50 pm. We had about a 30 min wait, which wasn't bad. After that, the wait time jumped up to 1+ hours. The place was clean and seating is mostly all booths, but they are ample booths with lots of room. There were some 16+ tv monitors with mostly sports being played at all times. It gets pretty noisy as the evening goes on, so don't expect to be able to talk a lot without nearly shouting to your booth mates. Now let's get to the food, shall we? I started off with a Jammin' Blackberry Lemonade. It was perfect. Not too tart and a nice dose of blackberry without being too sweet. For an appetizer, we ordered the Shotgun Shrimp. They were sweet and tangy lightly breaded shrimp sitting on top of very thin strips of fried potatoes. Heavenly. My husband got the Bacon Grind Burger with Fire Fries. The grind burgers are a mix of ground beef and bacon, an upscale version of their regular burgers. Their fire fries are good, but they do pack a punch. We like spicy but my husband was over the heat level about halfway through. They're good, but become overpowering after a bit. I had the Guacamole Bacon Grind Burger. Yum! I had mine with Tater Tots and they were perfect. Now usually we don't get dessert, but we couldn't pass up the Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae. I don't know what we were thinking as we were stuffed, but it looked so good and tasted gooey and chocolatey with a side of vanilla ice cream. Yes, Please! That was wonderful. The staff was attentive and personable. They did an excellent job during a busy Friday evening. The restaurant and restrooms seemed to be clean and the staff seemed attentive to anything that dropped on the floor. They turned the tables quickly. I saw a family get up from a booth and within a couple of minutes the table was clean and a new group was sitting down. We will definitely go again and check out some of the other items on the menu, but we will make sure we go early or waitlist it. read more

Ordered a Lg pepperoni/half cherry pepper pizza for Curbside. It was soo good! The one thing I thought was funny was the amount of parmesan cheese in the little to-go cups. There's hardly anything in them! I mean, the containers are practically empty. Maybe downsize your small to-go cups to SMALL-ER so it's not so obvious? This place is always pack and this is our first time to visit and taste their food. Food wise, it was okay it is not really something we will crave for. The gunshot flavor was creamy. The Habanero Burger was good but the fries seems like has been cooked for a while or too long. We also ordered pint and small beer. We enjoyed the environment where all sides have TV. They refused to accept a legal vertical id issued by state of Texas. The new rule is not regulated by TABC it's Bubbas own rule and it's stupid. My daughters are well past the legal limit but Texas doesn't change the way the license is done until age of 24. Not my problem. They are going to lose business. I recently visited to pick up a to go order. I was ahead of schedule, so there was still a lot of time until my order would be made. I asked Naysa if it could be made since I was here already. She went to ask about it and came back and told me it couldn't be done. I asked if I could cancel the order, with the intention of placing a new one. Naysa was patient with me and kindly explained she would need the manager to come and help with that. The store manager Brady came over to speak with me. He was super supportive and friendly. He told me he would get my order started in the kitchen right away, no cancellation necessary. I even got a free soda while I waited. Another worker, Ryan, helped his coworkers figure out how to work the system in cases like mine and push and order to the kitchen. I was very impressed with everyone, and the food is delicious! I have been one time before, but decided to introduce a friend to this place. I forget how delicious their wings and pizza were. This place was busy the Tuesday evening after Christmas, and they were able to squeeze in two gals quite quickly. We both ordered margaritas on the rocks. Both were good, but not great. I am not sure what they use to make them (simple syrup or some other premix). Pizza- fantastic! It was perfectly balance with a crisp yet chewy crust. Yum!!! I received a coupon for this restaurant at work so my husband and I decided to check it out for lunch. We were seated right away in a cozy booth. The restaurant was clean and there were TVs showing fun music videos. The ambiance in this restaurant is fun and its family friendly. Our server was very pleasant and recommended some of their favorite items to us. We started with the skillet chorizo queso which was delicious! The queso had great flavor and the chips are very fresh and had a nice seasoning on them. We even got some fresh salsa too with the chips. Our server even offered extra chips for us at no charge which was really nice. For entrees my husband had the deluxe pizza and I had the bacon cheeseburger. Both entrees were huge portions at very economical prices. The pizza was loaded with toppings and had a nice crispy crust. The burger was juicy and delicious. The manager Jackie came by at the end of our meal to check in with us and even gave us a souvenir cup to take home with a free appetizer coupon to use for our next visit. This location is still quite new and yet business is bumpin' every dang day since opening and there is always a wait in the evenings, no matter the day of the week. That said, this place has no shortage of return customers. Ordering take out, especially fried foods will always incur lackluster results no matter how many minutes transpire before it gets shoved into your mouth. Let's loosen up, people! Some of these other unfair reviews are a total crack up! This is our THIRD VISIT tonight! THE WAIT: It's a Sunday evening (just beat the dinner crowd) and there is no wait. Woohoo! In the past we have had to wait but the experience they offer here has been worth it so far. THE AMBIENCE: This place is chill, animated with all the sports TVs about and the music is typically rock of all varieties. We like it! Tried Bubbas for the first time. (Got on wait list- highly recommended). Customer service and the server was excellent! I ordered a goat cheese and arugula pizza. That was bomb! 1st time here. Not too bad! It has a loud sports bar feel to it by it is fun and no shortage of TVs! We tried a little of everything... Chicken nachos... delicious and plentiful. The margherita pizza was tasty and great flavor. Chicken and Bacon Mac n cheese - AMAZING! My date was delighted with her California chicken dish. Her comments were "very tasty". Overall a great experience. I'll be back for some wings and more Mac n cheese! Word of advice is to take advantage of the "call ahead waitlist" on busy days. I was hesitant going to another place that I thought was trying to be chili's. I'm not a fan of chili's so that made me even more hesitant. This is NOT like Chili's, and the food is ssssssooooo much better. The restaurant itself depending when you go and how you personally enjoy volume level, can be really fun and loud or really loud and annoying. Typically near the evening time it seems to get loud so we sit outside in the covered area and it's much calmer. Service is usually particular to the server rather than the restaurant. Called ahead due to the party of 8 we were in since online only max out at 6 guest. We were quoted around 30-40 minutes, arrived at the restaurant about 20 minutes in and low and behold after 30 minutes our table is ready! Upon entering this new Bubba's 33, the bar immediately to the left of the entrance however we were seated at the opposite end of the building. Our server was very attentive, assured our needs were met and was exceptional! Now for the food, we began with the loaded cheese fries which were crisp and delicious just lacked on the toppings a bit. We come often, we come hungry. We hit up this place several times a month. We always sit at the bar. We've tried a lot of the extensive menu items and are never disappointed. Matty knows our drinks and has them delivered to us within moments of sitting down. He's the best! My husband always gets the signature ribeye. Some days are better than others but always flavorful and delicious. I pick around and do the pizza (so many choices), the burgers (always a winner), sometimes pasta (when I'm feeling skinny) but the southern fried chicken tonight was amazing. We were sat down but the hosts in the front fairly. It wasn't busy, but somehow they forgot to tell the waiter. We waited for almost half an hour till someone came and got our orders. It was hot there were flies in that corner. We orders the blackened bleu cheese burger, mediocre. The shotgun shrimp was pretty good, came with decent amount of shrimp. The layered cheese fries with Chilli was good as well. They got our orders wrong for our boneless chicken wings. They did however fixed it but still got the second order wrong with it. Not much a big deal. The Buffalo bleu cheese pizza is where I was confused. It was basically cheese bread and a few pieces of chicken. That was a disappointment. We also found hair as we were packing our food. It was in the fried and Chilli. I would go back, but only if I'm desperate and ran out of options. The pizza was definitely a joke read more

The second time I went I got their Sangria Margarita frozen. WOW! Delicious!! I want to continue trying their cocktails as that was well worth it. I have yet to try their pizza but if the garlic knots and other food are any indication, I am very excited. Additionally, the wait staff is amazing and friendly. The first time we went they asked if it was our first time, we said yes as it was. We did not expect all the goodies they gave us at the end and a future discount coupon. Superb customer service. Finally, the vibe really sets it. A sports haven! So many TVs and if no big game is on then they show classic games.
