I've been noticing that Bubbas has been declining in service as well as quality of the food. This bar has been my go to for sports and drinks. Lately I've gotten rotten customer service at the bars and food that I should've returned. I will not return until they fix the problem . There's a Nicole and another one that has a very dry personality and disappears. I left extremely disappointed this last pizza night. The bbq chicken pizza was really really good! It was only 12.99 for the 12 inch pizza because of the Tuesday special! It was too big for me to finish it alone so I brought it home to my partner and he said it was very good as well. The server was friendly and the paying process was very quick with the device as well. Fun sports bar vibes. First time at a Bubbas. Found by accident. July 3rd, 2024 Wednesday 4:30pm. Very busy, but the 2 of us got a table within 5 minutes. Wish I had gotten the server's name. She was superb. Explained some items, made a couple of suggestions, quick efficient and happy to serve. Only thing she didn't say is how big some portions are, definitely shareable on some. Brought us a small sample of the sauce on one, so we could try. We ordered the onion rings and fries. I got the avocado bacon burger medium rare. He got classic cheeseburger medium. I agree with a lot of other reviews. It's okay. The food is nothing amazing or special. It also isn't bad. The place is large and we went just after 5pm. They have trendy music playing and the environment is kinda loud. It isn't super intimate but more of a fun environment. They have at least 2 bar areas. They have a chaotic menu. The drink menu do not have prices which I thought was a bit odd. I ordered a mule and it was pretty good and in the $8 range when the bill came out. They have daily specials: on the night we went the pizzas were $12.99 for any of the ones on the menu (extra for more toppings) which is a good deal for some of the $15-18 ones but if you like just cheese, it's the small price as the deal. They have burgers, pizza, pasta, a nice mixture of food. They advertise beer but they didn't have an overly large selection or creative one. read more

My son and I went on Sunday around 2pm and the only pleasant experience I had was with the manager because he got us a table after waiting half an hour to find out our name disappeared from the waiting list burnt my steak we were there over 2 hours I wouldn't go back if I was offended a free meal so disappointed. Probably one of the best burgers I had in Albuquerque. The burger patty has bacon bits inside which is truly game changer, plus there are plenty of tvs to watch sports games in the bar and the beer they have on draft is excellent. Another good experience there. The food is delicious! I love the chicken parm sandwich and the appetizer artichoke cheese dip was a nice surprise. Our server was Tori Ann and she was excellent! Friendly, fast, and checked in on us. (my only critique would be how cold it can get in there. I know why it's called Bubba's 33-temp for cold beer-but sometimes it can get chilly). Today we made the drive across town to pick up Bubba's. We have been doing locally owned but today we went for one our favorites. I guess you can count it as kinda local since there's only seven locations in the United States. We normally dine in at Bubba's which is always a fantastic choice. We drove our meal home and we're disappointed. We live a good distance and our meals traveled well. For us it's honestly best to dine in. The vibe inside is light, fun and a little loud. Their selection of beer is not to shabby. Thru our visits we have tried all areas of the menu and can honestly say it's always good. I did receive an under cooked burger once but the remedied that with a perfectly delicious one! My husband loves their chicken nachos. We always enjoy the music and the old style MTV videos playing on obe of the TVs. Oh and don't forget the rest of the TVs playing all kinds of sports. read more

While on a road trip back home to vegas, we decided to come here for a Sunday night game. The place looked great, menu and food looked good too. When the start of the game came on there was still music playing without game sound. We asked several employees if there would be sound and they all said it would be on when the game started. Kickoff came and went, still no game sound. Our server went over to a manager and they conversed for about 5 seconds. She said they were having "technical DIFFICULTIES". The manager never came over to us, just left it in the servers hands. Needless to say, we left after the first quarter. I asked another manager why they didn't play the sound, and he told me it was not working. I asked if it was working earlier (like an hour earlier) and he said yes. Okay.... I find it hard to believe that this place that's been open for quite some time all of a sudden has sound issues when they had it working earlier? Not one manager knows how to work the system? Does this go out frequently? I get it. It's Alberquerque. They are probably pissed that they don't have professional sports. You could at least say you don't want to put the sound on and I could live with that. Not all of your guests are idiots. I worked for a BWW although it's a crappy franchise, I knew how to work the system. You guys are dorks. read more

In town overnight enroute to L.A. and decided to give this place a try based on best reviews nearby. I admit we were really hungry, so a tire would gVe been good. Upon arrival, we were seated pretty quickly. The hostess was friendly, and the lady who showed us our table asked if it was our first time and told us what they were known for, which is apparently the wings, burgers, and pizzas. The service went downhill with our waitress. She had slow service, and you had to continually ask her for silverware. She never brought us napkins, I got up and took some drink napkins. The food... we ordered spinach dip, so good, order it fast. My watermelon margarita was delicious. I ordered the black bean burger, and although good, it was very dense. Maybe a little smaller patty would have been sufficient. But overall, it was good. we both ordered fire fries, order them if you like spicy. They were very good and spicy. My daughter was very satisfied with her chicken sandwich. A good choice for bar food, good drinks, and watching a game. Great place to come for late night dinner! The fried pickles were extremely thinly sliced which was perfect because they weren't oily at all and were very crispy! I got the order of raspberry chipotle boneless wings. And they are ranked as being spicy but honestly if you enjoy spicy foods then you probably won't think these are that spicy I thought they were actually perfect enough to have that bold flavor, have a sweet taste, and be spicy enough to try it really enjoy! My husband got the chicken tender plate and he finished it all. The best part for me was the insane amount of sweet potatoes fries that came with his plate. The atmosphere is pretty cool with old sports memorabilia. However the service and food quality is a different story. The waiter was too zoned out to put the correct order in and when the manager asked if everything came out correctly, they literally said oh I knew the pizza was messed up and sent it out to you. Food was average. Wings were a hit and miss. Ordered 100 wings for our party and 90 percent of wings were dry. Teriyaki and BBQ wings were the best. I was hoping there would be a hatch chili option. Overall, service was great for a party of 20 plus. read more

This was my family's first time visiting here. We had been wanting to try this place out, but we have never had the chance to. We did get a chance to try their pizza and wings at a catered event. That's why we wanted to try the other menu items that they offer. Glad we did. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, it was so packed. But we opted to sit outside since it was a beautiful day. The wait was about 15 minutes. We sat in the patio and can hear a football game going on. This is definitely a great place to dine with family since their menu offers everything from different libations to delicious entrees. Our waitress, Courtney was very helpful with what we chose off the menu. She told us about their Brunch Specials that they offer on Saturday and Sunday's. With inexpensive drink specials.  We decided to try quite a few menu items today. We started off with a half order of onion rings and half a dozen wings. Both appetizers were satisfying to the palate. Next, came the entrees. Tried the Chicken, Bacon and Avocado Sandwich, Shotgun Shrimp Po'Boy (that was definitely had a kick to it!), Smoked Turkey and Bacon Sandwich and the Chicken and Bacon Mac and Cheese. My family and I were starving, but the appetizers thankfully they came first and that held us over till our entrees arrived. Overall this place is definitely worth visiting again. The service was good, our server Courtney was attentive and came to check on us in a timely manner. And the ambiance maybe a little noisy, but what do you expect its a sports bar/restaurant. Forget lunch - 25 minutes to get a salad out of the kitchen. At that point, I ran out of time - and had to cancel the salad and just pay for the drink. Service very distracted and slow. The food was good but the management is poor. I went in as I am a normal guest and was treated very poorly. After my friends and I was sat we were rudely asked to move by a manager because of a miscommunication with our server and management which was obvious that management was treating this server poorly. Our server remained kind but was asked to step away from us and management didn't even direct us to our seat after yelling at our server. Unbelievably rude because the manger believed that our server sat us without permission. Which is far from the truth we In fact waited 15 min to be sat. I am sad to have seen out server be so mistreated and for management to be so careless about costumers as well. read more

Awful. I ordered online for curbside. I ordered wings, classic cheeseburger, broccoli with no garlic butter and fries. I received a text that my order was ready so I drove over there, parked in curbside parking, and texted the word "here" like I was instructed to do. I waited in my car 10 to 15 minutes and no one arrived. So I texted the word again. Nothing. I need to get it out of my car going into the restaurant and waiting for a hostess so that I could ask about my order. Apparently it was sitting there ready... why offer curbside if you can't manage it? Did I mention I was the only curbside car waiting??? Fries were stuck together AND were cold. Wings were chewy and soft. Burger was great but the broccoli was smothered in garlic butter. NOT a do-over. read more
