The thin blue line flag near the entrance almost made me walk out. But the place wasn't too busy and I had a free meal voucher from veterans day to use so I decided to stay and try it out. Hubby and I accidentally found this fun hangout of a place and enjoyed ourselves a pizza (we always order pepperoni, green peppers and black olives as a standard to test from). Everything was so fresh and delicious. I especially love that their dough has a layer of semolina flour. If you're a foodie like me you'll understand why it's a big deal! They also had music playing and the ambiance felt almost like a bar room. This was a last minute visit, due to a late hour to eat, but im glad we made it here. I saw the sign off I-25 one night and looked at the food, knowing that it could be a good sign. The crust was good and not greasy, and the pepperoni and cheese was pretty good too. My girlfriend loved the amount of sauce it had so they did well to put a pizza like that to our table. I ordered a Blue Moon and got the biggest one in a tall beer glass. It's a really cool sports bar. They had a TON of sports memorabilia up on their walls, most in honor of NM sports. The seating was spacious and the booth we had could fit six in honesty. For appetizers, we each had wings and ordered garlic knots. The knots were fluffy pillowy bread with shredded parmesan cheese and sprinkled herbs. The marinara for it was good. Traveling from Oregon to Texas and was in Albuquerque during the Super Bowl. We asked the desk clerk where we could watch and she directed us to Bubbas. We had the best time! My daughter's cousin met us there and the party was on. Great drinks, food was awesome and HUGE! Crowd was half eagles, half chiefs so the entertainment was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling or living in Albuquerque to try this place out. Especially during sport events. Will be back if I'm ever in the area. read more

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! Go anyplace else! Staff consists of incompetents and liars. I placed a To-Go order over the phone with "Shania." When I arrived 20 minutes later. The To-Go staff did not have the order. A guy came out and suggested I called the wrong store. It's possible but I called the number again and asked for Shania and she came to the phone, so I had the right store and she looked across and saw me talking to her. She claims she put in the order and the entire To-Go staff says they didn't have it. Someone is lying. I have never been into Bubba's before and I sure as hell will never go in again. It's kinda hectic, has wild décor everywhere (even on the ceilings) and hella bar seating. The bartenders are all super cool and quick with service. I really really enjoy their food there hasn't been anything bad I have tried but my favorites are- the chicken bacon avocado on focaccia, the fire fries, garlic knots, shogun shrimp and boneless wings (really any flavor). Bubba's is a sports bar and the chain is owned by the same folks as Texas Roadhouse. Sitting at the bar on a Sunday afternoon, we were completely surrounded by televisions on all four walls. And sitting at the bar and the tables, sports fans here to drink beer and cheer on their teams. Chicken sandwich with fries was massive. One of the largest chicken breasts I've seen in some time. Great spot for larger groups, they seem to stay rather busy. This sports bar chain is a favorite of my dad and brothers. The food is greasy bar food, which sometimes is exactly what you need. From large pizzas to wings and burgers, there are options for all. The environment here is what makes it a great spot to socialize and catch the big games. The food is overall decent. It really depends on what you order, the last time we came, we had some pretty tasty burgers, this time I tired the fish sandwich which was pretty bland, the waiter offered me some spicy sauce which improved the overall taste but I would not recommend it. I'm sitting at about 3.5 stars just like another reviewer and decided to round up just because service here is always prompt if a bit perfunctory. They also have a great sangria swirl margarita (I've drunk more sangria swirls than I care to admit). We always come here when we don't have a huge amount of time before a movie (about 75-90 minutes). And so far, we've never had to wait more than about 15 minutes before being seated (knock wood). Pizzas are decent, as are the burgers). Nothing to brag about, but it gets the job done. The entire place is covered in TV screens with about a dozen sports events going on. Super noisy, but if you're looking for a sports bar, this is your place. I prefer to support local places but if you want a chain, this is a decent option. read more

Driving up to the establishment at 2:30 in the afternoon, I was shocked to see the parking lot completely full. Always a good sign! I was able to be seated as soon as I walked in, so extra points for that. I had the spinach dip to start and it was so good. I highly recommend adding a bit of salt as it really made the flavors pop. The Focaccia bread served with it was really good as well. The main courses were a Monte Cristo and a Philly Cheese Steak. Both were served with the Fire Fries, which were just the right amount of spicy. Everything was fantastic. Truly. Like frfr (only teens will understand that) My strawberry lemonade with diced strawberries was so sweet and delicious I wanted to take home a gallon. My margaritas were over the top amazing. They do NOT hold back on the pours. I'm not sad. Ambiance was fun, lots of tv's and neon signs. I liked having many options of what to watch. My server Navea was a total rock star! 3.5 stars Went last night (on a Sunday night) and the place was packed. We even had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. It's an eclectic place with a lot of TV's, barstools with pant cutouts, bright colors, and loud music. Service was a little slow at times. My friend got the habanero burger with the fire fries and a beer. I tried one of the fries and it wasn't too hot. I got the chicken bacon mac n'cheese ($14.99). It was a decent portion and I took about half home. There were parts of the dish that were warmer than others. While there was plenty of bacon, it was missing a little something in the flavor (guess I could've added on the green chile). I got the turtle cheesecake to go (which came deconstructed of course) and my friend got the cheesecake with the strawberry topping. They have pizza specials on Tuesday nights and a free 1-topping pizza just for signing up. They usually give a free meal voucher for veterans (choice of salad, burger, cheeseburger, chicken bacon mac, or 12" pizza), so I will update my review once I get to try the pizza. read more

One of the male manager came around and we mentioned we didn't receive the jalapeño mixture, to which he stated he'd check on it but never came back.
