My daughter's and I are frequent customers at this location. You can't beat the friendly staff, especially Tyler who basically remembers my daughters orders and asks if he should start making it before I even place my order. I always get a Taco Salad in a shell and add whatever ingredients I want. Everything is visible, you can see its clean AND fresh. We've never been disappointed BUT I'm sure if we were and let them know they'd make it right. It's that kind of place. They also have done several fundraisers for our local schools --- gotta support those who support us! read more

Update: I hesitate to even share, but I probably won't be returning to this location. Don't get me wrong the food was enjoyable, but less than two hours post meal I was struck in the worst way with abdominal discomfort. Let's just say I almost rode home on the Hershey highway...thankfully I didn't have any other jobs that day. That said, I won't give too poor of a rating but I can only hope staff is practicing proper hand washing. read more

Bubbakoo's Burritos - Mexican Near Me - Jackson, New Jersey

See all

I went on tuesday and the food tasted amazing! And unlike surf taco (which does in fact have delicious food as well) Bubbakoo's has very good prices and a variety of options to add onto your tacos. The women behind the counter were very friendly and patient. I wish I came here sooner! Bubbakoo's you just gained yourself another loyal customer!! read more

Just moved to Jackson and this has been my dinner spot every night of the week! I get a nice fat burrito with chicken, lettuce, beans, cheese and some spicy mango sauce. Everything is fresh and made right in front of you. Staff is friendly and actually look like they like working here. Highly recommend especially if you're really hungry! read more

Let me first start off by saying that my girlfriend and I were visiting from New York. This place was a lot better than the shitty make-shift deli/terrible food that was there before. Pros: -We both got the Nachos which were extremely filling after loading on every topping imaginable. -staff was friendly. -service was quick. Cons: -sour cream was in a ketchup bottle. -guacamole was squeezed out of a plastic bag. -you could tell everything was canned and not fresh. Overall it was a good place for the price and one of the better options due to the lack of food options in the area. We will probably be eating here again since we only have 3 places to choose from... Side note: The girl that helped us last night kept getting hit on by some 'bros' behind us. Trying to pick someone while they're at work. Amateurs... read more

This place always delivers quality food and service. Loved my steak and shrimp taco salad after church! Good looking and delicious. read more

Bubbakoo's Burritos - Mexican Near Me - Jackson, New Jersey

Bubbakoos is the perfect place to get fresh food quickly! I don't know what these previous reviewers are talking about, this place uses the freshest ingredients and is DEFINITELY better than Chipotle. I'm a sucker for the student special (only $6) for chips, soda, and two hard or soft tacos. My parents love their burritos! I was originally a patron of the Point Pleasant location, which I still frequent when I'm in that area, but this Jackson location had made it so easy to feed my addiction! Also, another tip for those who commented on the guacamole being in a plastic bag... That's made fresh everyday, and they only put it in there for convenience while serving! Like I said, I'm a well know face at this place, I've become really familiar with their processes which make me even more confident when I give this place five stars! read more

Miserable girls - 3 of em all nasty rude and unhappy - will never come again. If you want an attitude and few like you're bothering them to do their job then come here! Not to owner - your counter help makes or breaks your business especially with COVID and ppl not really eating out. Seriously ruined my mood and day - these girls need better training. read more

The Bubbakoos Bayville location has been going downhill for a while. After waiting inside for over 10 minutes for them to complete one order i was told it would be a while before i could be helped because they had to complete door dash orders. They had five employees in the store (one washing dishes, one behind the register, one walking around doing nothing, one on the grill and the one who should of been helping me). After becoming agitated and threating to walk out the one who was going to start doing door dash orders reluctantly worked on my order. After telling her what i was planning on ordering she seemed lost and confused. i had to reemphasize my order at least three times. The one walking around aimlessly repeated my order back to me only to not relay it to the one who was on the grill. Well after 2 tries and 10 minutes later my order was finally done. I will never set foot in this store again. Which is pretty sad because it used to be run very well and i have patronized it on numerous occasions. read more

The food is OK but the customer service is absolutely terrible . Whe. I first came in it wasn't even busy and it took 10 mins for one of the girls to even acknowledge me . The girls who work there are super rude over the phone and in person. One of the blonde females who work there got an attitude with me over the fact that I asked her if she remember to put cheese in my bowl ( which she didn't) . Stabs her neck and asked me "well did you ask for cheese to be put in your bowl" with the nastiest attitude . Bubbakoo's was one of my first jobs and it was never like , this customer service was always number one ! I will never be eating at this Bubba Koos again. read more

Great place for Tex Mex. Food is so much better than chipotle. The desert is soooo good. Staffs are great and friendly. Manager greeted us. What a nice place. Will be back again read more

Ok so I went back to give another try. Definitely not going to order the steak again. Chicken is much better read more

By far, the WORST quesadilla ever. Using tortilla chips instead of a tortilla and drowning it with butter? And charging $10 for that? Inexcusable. read more

Just dropped into to Jackson's Bubbakoos Burrito's and had sweet chili shrimp soft taco's for the first time, and hubby had a sweet chili crispy chicken bowl. Both were amazing! Joe and JT were efficiently handling the lunch crowd as they greeted both newbies and regulars warmly. I like Bubbakoos because always seem to be adding new things to the menu. You can try something different or stick with your favorites, and their food is different from Chipotle's or Surf Taco, so it's not "just another TexMex place". Seriously - if you haven't been yet, you should. It's fast, fresh, friendly, and delicious! read more

Usually love Bubbakoos, but tonight I ordered online for delivery on the chow now site and after waiting an hour I found out they had canceled my order. By this time the store was already closing so I could not get any food. I understand their reasoning for canceling my order but they didn't notify me in any way. If they would have called I would have picked up the order but instead they canceled it and had me looking for other options to eat late on a Sunday night. Very disappointing especially being such a loyal customer. read more

Very overpriced and low quality. I'm guessing the bowls are better, but with the burrito you're basically paying 10$ for. Spoon of rice wrapped in a tortilla. read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch. I ordered the steak burrito and the wife had the steak quesadilla. You can taste the char on the steak from the grill that was good. Other ingredients were just blah. read more

A town favorite and definetly a go to place for my kids. I can't say I ever had a bad meal here but to be honest I have no idea what I'm ordering half the time, I leave that up to my kids. I know, it's really not that hard, they just give you so many options lol. Get the frequent diner card or whatever they call it. read more

We ordered from Jackson store at 5:15, picked up our order at 5:30 and it was already cold. This is the last time we will order from Bubbakoo's. read more

I ate here 3 times in 1 week when visiting my family. They have the nicest staff at any food place I've ever been to- that alone makes me happy to spend my money here. But in addition, the food is excellent. Fresh, filling, and delicious. I got a shredded beef burrito bowl every time, and my family all got burritos. read more

I think people are hard on bubbakoos for no reason. True chipotle fan boys and girls will stay true. Bubbs is an easy grab and go. Tastes good 90% of the time. Every now and then they overcook the rice and/or chicken. That's when it's not so great. When it's not overcooked it's quite tasty. read more

Down right terrible. Food is like chucky cheese food. They squeez their guac from a pipet. Queso from a bag. Everything is frozen and reheated. Waste of money. read more

This place is definitely awful. My wife got food poisoning eating shrimp there. My steak burrito was not hibachi style flavor, rather the steak had the aftertaste of shrimp. The spices seem more of Greek or India like. Why would they call themselves Tex Mex style Mexican food is just not right.Tge flour tortillas have an after taste, they want almost$15 for a burrito. Don't waste your money here. read more

Great food for sure! Always a good experience eating here. I either get take out or delivery. I would recommend trying the fried Oreos. Also the chips and guacamole are a MUST! friendly staff that's excited and eager to serve you. A lot of choices and combinations of Tex mex food that can keep you full read more

This bubbakoos has the worst fucking employees can never get a order right they should be fired everytime I go there they mess something up with my order read more

I'll never understand who is writing these negative reviews man. People are on here saying nothing is fresh, but you can see right in to the kitchen and watch them cook your chicken... FRESH! Everything is always fresh, hot and delicious. The vibe is fantastic and the employees are genuinely nice. While they are trying to be efficient to control the volume, they will stop to talk to you if you have something to say. Which is far different from chipotle, where you can't open your mouth before they pass you along and start the next persons order. And the manager here is the freakin man. I absolutely love this place!!! read more

AWFUL. I ordered a big salad with beans and rice mixed in and my WAY over friendly staff asked what sort of dressing I wanted... Ceasar?! They don't have a house dressing appropriate for their selection of ingredients. She cheekily suggested I have the dressing on the side) I went home and made my own with sour cream hot sauce and olive oil. Thank god I had take out. I was hoping for a chipoltle instead it's a faster food surf taco. Blah. read more

The best goddamn burrito name in the state. Ive had 5 other burrito chains all over this state and nothing compares to their freshness. Service is friendly and they act like they give a shit unlike those sad doosh bags at chipotle or moe's lol. DOUBLE STEAK ALL DAY. I pay for extra for quality here and I always get it. These guys know how to run a restaurant. Awesome moral and great food. read more

The food was good but the guy in the back cooking the "made to order" meats for my families burritos was handling the raw uncooked food with out gloves and would wipe his hands on his t-shrt between orders with out washing his hands. I'm hoping this isn't routine operating standards. My 9 year old son wasn't sure what he wanted so they made a kids burrito that was half the size but charged me full price, when I questioned it they replied with "well we added extra meat". I can't see how half an ice cream scoop of chop meat could cost $4. The only way i'll be going back will be when I have a serious hankering for a dirty burrito and to be ripped off. read more

For a burrito place they offer a large variety of entrees and specialty meats. Staff is super nice and accommodating. Would come here a lot if I didn't just work on occasion locally. read more

I love Mexican. I love tacos - burritos - guacamole- chips- all of it. I really enjoy Bubbakoos. I've tried the buffalo shrimp burrito before, which was stuffed and really good. I mostly I order the tacos with pork or chicken. The pork is delicious- I could eat this everyday. Portions of guacamole are small- I always order two & I wish it was fresh, but I still order two and I still finish it all. read more

staff was very nice. ordered pick up. liked how they had it out and ready so i didn't have to wait most other Bubbakoos i have to wait they don't have have a separate section but this place did. i'm upset though that i ordered my quesadilla with rice and when i got home there was 0 rice. i honestly order it for the rice. rice and cheese. but ya no rice how do you forget that?! annoying but still was good we shall see next time. thanks read more

Awesome mexican restaurant. If you enjoy traditional mexican dishes like tacos, nachos, burritos and bowls, this is the place for you. My friend ordered a rice ball dish with buffalo chicken it. It looked really good. Definitely a place worth trying. read more

Very plain tasting food. You're paying $10 for a below average burrito. I wouldn't waste my money here.

Upon walking in I was greeted by just about ever person that worked there while a smile and a hello. This was my first time at bubbakoo's and after looking at the menus for a little bit the person asked if this was my first time here then helped with their menus which is pretty straight forward to begin with. I got a bowl which had rice beans chorizo and a couple other things on there. Overall I was impressed with their staff and how friendly they were but the food was very average. Chipotle's food is better but you will get a smile and a friendly hello at bubbakoo's. read more

I had never heard of Bubbakoos before when one of my coworkers told me about it. Then I happened to see one when trying out another yelp suggestion. So today we decided to have a late lunch and give it a try. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the guy behind the counter with a hello and a smile(great start to our visit). He was very pleasant and prepared our food quickly. My son had the chiwawa and I had a taco salad both very tasty, I was slightly disappointed that the rice, ground beef and chicken were not hot, they were just warm. We will be back and I definitely want to try the love chips. read more
