In house the first time I ate at Bubba T's

I'm so torn on this. I had Bubba T's crawfish a few weeks ago in house and it was delicious. Juicy, easy peel, great size, and such a good mix of buttery and spicy. Last night I ordered 3 lbs for takeout. I was told on the phone that it would be 25 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes after placing my order and was told it was almost done. It came out about 5 minutes later. When I got home it was obvious that it was not the same quality. Too many were dry and obviously had been from an older batch and mixed in with fresher ones. The shells were too soft, the inside was a gray/brown color, and the amount of claws told me an old batch had been dumped in with it. It's $1/ per pound for takeout so I expected it to be the same quality. Logan handled each transaction and was terrific both times. He is an absolute sweetheart.

Food was delicious as always but I want to talk about the staff. These young adults worked as a team, were polite and alwaya doing something never standing around.

Best crawfish boil I've ever had! Everything was very tasty and staff was so warm and friendly. Don't pass this place up!

The service here is excellent. Aubrey is friendly and outgoing. The staff offered to glove up and sort through my crawfish leftovers to box it up to go. The restaurant is clean, and fairly quiet. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that the crawfish was too buttery and it could use more seasoning. I would like to see desserts on their menu. I plan to return with friends to try other menu items.

Food is super good here, atmosphere is top notch with the lively Cajun music always playing. The owners and staff are super nice and inviting always making us feel welcome and part of the family ;) My favorites are the chicken and sausage gumbo, boudin balls, fried pickles and etouffée. And my son would say the ranch is the best part! You order when you first come in and then pick your own seat with tables and booths to choose from. They will also bring your food out as it is ready, so you may not get it all at the same time but you are definitely getting it hot and fresh. It all comes pretty fast so there is no awkwardness of waiting to eat with your friends or family. You should definitely try it out, we keep coming back!!

I've eaten here several times and will be again. Good flavor, portions, and atmosphere. Like the both gumbos and the shrimp poboy.

I had never been to the previous address, but the interior design was so lovely we chose to sit at the new bar. Kady, the bartender (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) was such a doll the whole time waiting us. She kept the chips (touch of louisiana we enjoyed) next to her for refills and made the most twisted hurricane I've had. Definitely walked out clinging to my man lol. We tried the crawfish dip which came with two types of bread, though both went amazing with it. I ordered the lobster ravioli with a side of hush puppies and my old guy ordered the lamb chops, well done, with gumbo (we don't eat pork) and stuffed shrimp. Everything was so damn great tasting. I mean, damned good tasting. My only flaw was the roux could've been a little thinner, but that is absolutely it. Fabulous timeeee and I'm so recommending.

Monty's Lighthouse - Montgomery, Texas…read more This was my very first visit to Monty's Lighthouse out by Lake Conroe, and it was such a pleasant experience from start to finish. I decided to have a lunch date with my son, and the entire outing felt peaceful, relaxed, and exactly what we needed. The ambience was lovely, the weather was perfect, and the lakeside scenery added that extra touch that makes a meal feel like a moment. I ordered the Seafood Ravioli -- cheese raviolis covered in a rich crab bisque cream sauce with sautéed crawfish tails, shrimp, spinach, cherry tomatoes, and Parmesan. It was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, worth every bit of the $21.99. My son had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with applewood smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese, and Cajun honey mustard aioli. He enjoyed it completely, and at $15.49, it was a great portion and value. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was inviting, and the food was genuinely good. For a first‑time visit, Monty's Lighthouse made a strong impression. I definitely plan on going back and exploring more of the menu while enjoying that beautiful lakeside view.

I definitely see why this is a favorite amongst the locals and my coworkers party. Patio seating gives a gorgeous view of the water or you can sit inside amongst the many tables and booths available. As for the food, they offer cajun-inspired eats and seafood options here, all of which are quite tasty. They have oysters available along with crawfish if you want to go that avenue. My girlfriend and I kept it simple starting with the stuffed mushrooms, comes with 7 mushrooms stuffed with crab in a butter sauce. Pretty tasty although most of the flavor comes from the sauce. As for entrees, she ordered the cajun pasta while I went with the cajun shrimp cobb salad. The pasta is quite large and rich which suited her. I enjoyed the salad which had all the fixings of a cobb salad; I would've preferred the egg be chopped up but I can't complain. We finished our meal with the bread pudding which was delicious and full of cinnamon and caramel. Apparantly it's their best-selling dessert and I can see why. I noticed they also have live music here on certain days and an expansive happy hour. While this spot is far from where we live, we're definitely open to coming back here to taste other items.

We were on our way…read moreto college station and wanted to get something to eat as we got closer to our destination. We checked Yelp for something other than Mexican food and this place had really great reviews. As soon as we walked it we knew it was going to be good. The menu isn't too large, which to me meant that they have spent a lot of time perfecting the things that are on the menu. The service was really good and as soon as we sat down, we ordered a couple of sodas and the Boudin balls. We took a couple minutes to look at the menu and everything looked really good, but the spicy chicken sandwich was really calling out to both of us. So we ordered those one with potato salad and one with rice. The Boudin balls were delicious. They were pretty large in size and the sauce that it came with had a little bit of a kick to it. My favorite thing was that it was mostly meat on the inside and the flavor was incredible. Same with the chicken sandwich. It also had a kick and by the time I was done my mouth was pretty warm. I thought the potato salad was a great way to help cool it off, and it was just as good as the sandwich. I loved the batter on the chicken, and I thought the bun was toasted perfectly. This would be a place I would go to regularly if I lived in the area. Parking was pretty tight and most of the spots were taken up so we did park in a spot we weren't supposed to, but luckily we didn't get towed!

Whew! I'm a Mississippi native so Louisiana is like our great aunt and New Orleans is our first…read morecousin. I knew when we pulled up the food was going to be good. When I tell you the spirit of Louisiana and NOLA was in the place! So you will miss the place if you aren't paying attention. The sign is small and the building looks like it used to be a church fellowship hall. It's not fancy and it's small, however, don't discount it. Don't judge a book by its cover and great things come in small packages. It's a family owned and run business. By the looks of it, it can probably seat 40 people and I'm pushing it with the number. However from the time you walk in until the time you leave, you feel like you're at your great aunt's house. It was five of us and when you walk in, it's seat yourself and first come, first serve. The food came out piping hot and cooked fresh. My husband and brother-in-law got the catfish platter with red beans and rice (no pork) and Mac-n-cheese. My sister and I got the Nawlins boil that had a crab cluster, shrimp, corn, potato, boiled egg and a sausage link. My nephew got a shrimp po-boy with fries. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The fish and fries were crispy. The Mac-n-cheese isn't creamy but it isn't dry. Perfect amount of cheese and flavor. The red beans and rice had the perfect balance of flavor. The boil...my goodness the boil. They have the amount of the boil down to a science to make it a full meal. At first glance, I didn't think it would be seasoned well because the season looked like a dry rub. It wasn't saucy or juicy - until I took my first bite. I almost walked to the kitchen to kiss the cook. They are not skimpy on any of the food either. Even the po-boy had an overload of shrimp. When we were there, it was a packed house. There was also a large party who was rather disgruntled - not because of the service or food but because they were impatient. Remember this is a family owned business with 2 servers and maybe 3 cooks that cook to order. So if you're looking for quick food, this isn't the place. If you have time to sit, enjoy some great food with great company in a casual home style restaurant...this is your place.
