We made reservations and, although there appeared to be open seating toward the front, we were taken to the back. We ordered Hurricanes, lamb chops and the fried sampler, and I can honestly say the food was delicious. Our waiter was also kind, attentive and took great care of us. Unfortunately, something about the seating began to make me uncomfortable as the evening went on. While we were waiting for our food, I noticed that the fairer-skinned patrons coming in appeared to be seated toward the front, while guests who looked more like us were being seated toward the back. I obviously can't speak to the restaurant's reasoning or whether there were other factors involved, but once I noticed the pattern, it was difficult for me to ignore. It made me uncomfortable enough that I eventually lost my appetite and couldn't finish my meal. That's unfortunate because the food itself was genuinely good and our waiter did nothing wrong. But the overall experience matters just as much to me as what's on the plate, and I left feeling uneasy about what I observed. Because of that, I personally don't see myself returning to this location.

Theirs came out pretty quickly but we had a bit longer wait. A chicken strips kids meal was also ordered for my grandson. The fries were plentiful and he seemed to enjoy. I had a glass of wine and my SIL had a frozen hurricane with waters all around and a Dr Pepper. Unfortunately, they were out of lemonade and no other juice options available for my grandson so he had to go with water. We didn't order any extra sauces for the crawfish to be tossed into as we wanted to try them as they were intended. My daughter and son-in-law's order seem to be more medium and smalls while ours was strictly smalls pill was easy. Taste was good. My daughter also ordered a half pound of boiled shrimp. They were very tasty and buttery easy peel and decent size the potatoes were tasty without being overly seasoned. The Thai sauce is a good addition to add a little more flavor. We are looking forward to coming back when the season gets a little more stable and trying different Crawfish varieties this is a great outdoor spot in our little town.

At first glance, I didn't think it would be seasoned well because the season looked like a dry rub. It wasn't saucy or juicy - until I took my first bite. I almost walked to the kitchen to kiss the cook. They are not skimpy on any of the food either. Even the po-boy had an overload of shrimp. When we were there, it was a packed house.
