Just a bunch of money hungry mfs I came in July to TRANSFER…read moreSERVICES and the guy that helped me (Kade) closed my account and made a new one I did not know this until I got my bill for August and couldn't log into cox and bill was higher so I came into cox again and Mike (tbh the only good employee in there) helped me and got his manager and I explained what happened and they reopened my last account closed the one kade made and transferred my services and got me back at a lower monthly bill Now it's September I got three emails 240.00 for my last address A credit of 35.93 for my new address but closed account And now a bill for 176.00 I walked into cox explaining the situation And they could not help me one of the guys even told me I had to pay that new bill with the 66.00 partial service few like I didn't just explain the situation three times Clearly no one knows what they are doing and then they told me I need to call billing and their customer service line what the hell is the point in having a cox store and they can't even do the job correctly? I am beyond frustrated with the customer service and situation at hand and guess what? It's now 7:32pm and I just got home and have NO WIFI (now I have to call the customer service line, great more and more of an inconvenience) Clearly no one knows what they are doing I'm literally crying from frustration My account never should have been closed the first time just because that first guy wanted to get a credit to open a new account because now I'm having to deal with all of this with ZERO HELP

We tried to reset the system, called the 1-800 number for Direct TV, etc. No help. So, I checked trusty Yelp, of course, and found this nice, local, independent Direct TV provider. They answered promptly and we're able to come by right away since they happened to be working nearby. I knew it was just a user error, some kind of configuration issue, but how wonderful to get the system all functioning properly and so quickly! It sure beat having to call my husband, who got left behind this trip, and have him try for an hour or more to walk us through the issue. The two guys who came were very pleasant as well as prompt; the price was reasonable for a service call. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again in a minute.

I have been sick of Cox expensive TV for so long and finally did it! I bought a $20 digital…read moreantenna and a Tablo (streaming & DVR device)from Amazon, $165. I hooked it up to a 4gb hard drive I was not using and "Poof", no more $100 per month TV bills and I now had a 4gb DVR which is good for thousands of hours of recorded shows. All the channels came in perfect except 12 NBC. I moved the digital antenna all over but no luck. So I did some research on TV antennas and came across Free HDTV AZ, and the owner TJ. He had a $50 off coupon on his website so for $250, TJ stopped by, provided and installed the antenna with pole mount, and professionally ran the cable down my wall and into my house and hooked it into the back of my Tablo! Boom, now I got all the channels including channel 12. So, $415 later (approx 4 month Cox TV bill) I have free TV! If you are a DIY person you can get an outdoor antenna and mount it yourself and save $100. If you are not a DIY then call TJ @ 480-206-2407. He also will install your Tablo for an extra $50 and your Roku $25 if you need him to. Now a word about Tablo. It is a streaming and DVR for your over the air free tv all in 1 little box. It is compatible with any streaming device like a Roku or Fire Stick, etc. With a Tablo you can stream the free TV to any TV in your house that has a Roku like device. You just download the app on your streaming device and you are in business. You can get the recorded programs at any TV too. Also you control the Tablo from an app on your phone if you want to. The cheaper Tablo I bought has two tuners. This is the 1 I bought. Be aware that having 2 tuners means you can record 2 show at the same time only. If you have 4 people in your home you might want to consider the upgraded one with 4 tuners. The quality of the TV picture and the recorded shows are HD. Truly amazing. Mario was on time, very professional, did a FANTASTIC job on the installation, and I am 100% satisfied with the install and performance of the antenna. Even my wife (who is very much OCD) is glad we went with the roof mounted antenna. The reception is way better than I hoped for, and we get nearly twice as many broadcast channels as we did with the amplified indoor antenna. We ran the antenna cable to our HD HomeRun DVR box which uses our router to send the broadcast station signals to our iPhones, iPads, Windows PCs, and 5 TVs using Amazon Fire Sticks. Mind you it was a corporate store not authorized retailer. So I call customer service again they said that they could but sent me out another bill by mail which will would take 5-7 business days. Highly upset went to another store which is corporate and they are actually able to do so, so the women basically didn't want to do her job. Don't go to this store and stay away from that short female that works there not helpful at all.

I received my phones (didn't have them on hand) and found out from the 800 customer service line that what I thght I signed up for was not at all possible. The monthly fee would have been way more than was promised. I immediately cancelled and took forever to get return labels. Even when phones received it still took two callls to get them refunded. Here come hundreds of dollars of fees, for all sorts of things. Phones never used and can not show any use but got charged all sorts of "usage" fees. Their customer service area is a complete joke. Do not walk.. RUN away from AT&T, they have zero customer service people who aren't rude and ready to end the call the second they can't push you off onto someone else. They literally blame their system but have no problem sending bills or adding more charges.
