    BLT

I didn't have the best experience here. I came with a friend on Labor Day and it wasn't very busy, but service was quite slow. It took over 30 minutes for us to get our food, and it wasn't very good either. I got a BLT with green beans on the side- the BLT itself wasn't bad, but the green beans reminded me of a school cafeteria. I left pretty disappointed and won't be back.

Sitting right across from Radford campus is BT's. Parking - they have their own lot and street parking available too. Seating - indoor, bar, outdoor Arrived around 3pm and I chose to sit at the bar and see if I can get some convo in as I was solo today. Both Cindy and Austin were awesome bartenders willing to engage in conversation. Drinks - good pours and at good cost. RedBreast neat. Food Soup Chicken Chili and their regular chili were both really good, had to try both since the first one was so good. I hear the person who makes the soups has some really good ones even better than the ones i tried. If I lived in the area I would be coming on a regular to try them all. Entree Ribeye - cooked - asked for medium to help render down the fat and it came out so good, now they say there is cajun seasoning, but literally didn't taste in maybe 2 or 3 bites, but the steak was so good it didn't need it. Sides Panned green beans - warning do not speak to close or kiss anyone for about an hour after having these - very garlicky. Though I did enjoy them. Mac & Cheese - it was baked and good flavoring, but wished it had some creaminess to it.

Very friendly staff. Kitchen has a wide variety of items that a lot of time and care goes into making. Owners are very hands on and take great pride in the place and it shows. Ask for Ashley at the bar

the plating of this buff chicken dip had me wheezing. I know it's a cheesy college bar but damn. also there were like three different kinds of chips on the plate and half were stale. made for a good laugh. good beer selection though. :/

BEST DIRTY MARTINI IVE EVER HAD!!! Chris is absolutely amazing, 10/10 service every time. I have never had a bad experience here! Food is awesome, such a vast array of appetizers options. New soup daily, always amazing. Such a cute restaurant with booths and bar seating. Nice ambiance

For starters, I like the K-Pop group BTS, so that earns this place a star by itself. In all seriousness though, the food was GREAT. I got chicken tenders with cheese fries and bacon bits, which were all divine! Additionally we received really awesome service from our waiter Devon

I can't say anything bad about this place. We were driving from Nashville to NJ and saw this place on the highway exit sign. We read some quick reviews and decided to give it a shot. We knew going in that it was a college bar. We did not realize it was directly across from the college. It wasn't overly busy when we got there and we were seated right away. The waiter was at the table quickly. We placed our order and did wait a little bit, but not a big deal. Food was very good. The quesadilla is on the menu as a chicken quesadilla with peppers inside. My daughter only wanted cheese. No problem and was actually very cheesy. I ordered Margaret's bottom pulled pork sandwich with the BT's bbq sauce. Delicious and filling. It's a shame we don't live near there because we wod go there very often!

Service is as great as the food, no matter who's working the bar or dining room, when I'm in Radford this is a great local hangout!

It was a bit busy so we expected a slight delay on drinks/food, but our server kept checking on us every few minutes and kept our drinks full. The atmosphere/design is very unique and offers great talking points for the table. You can look around and always find something new you haven't seen before. For food, I got the French dip, my husband got the fried catfish, and mom got the smash burger. Food was EXCELLENT. The au jus from the French dip was not overly salty as I've had in the past, and it was the perfect amount for the sandwich. Not like other places that will either give you a big tub of au jus or ever a small saucer cup. After lunch, we walked around as they have a shopping area inside with soaps, handmade pottery/kitchenware, and local vendor products such as hatch chile cream cheese and pickled vegetables. Price was very favorable too and didn't seem to be overly priced where the business/vendor up charges significantly to make a huge profit. Definitely worth stopping by even if you only have time for Togo coffee, a snack, of just to shop around!

And the location itself is charming: a beautifully restored historic building with a character and atmosphere you just can't manufacture. Highly recommend to anyone passing through or looking for a standout local breakfast and brunch spot.

For the food, everything I've had has been a 10/10. My go to is a half order of the biscuits and gravy! It is always so flavorful, the biscuits are giant and fluffy. The gravy is seasoned perfectly. My second go to, as well as my girlfriend's is the hot honey fried chicken biscuit. Portion wise that thing is hugeee, most of the items are so they are absolutely worth what you pay! The chicken is so tender and crispy, breading is amazingly seasoned as well. This paired with the jezebel sauce is heaven on earth. I cannot express how much I love this place, their food is wonderful, their biscuits are massive, and their service is great. Only issue I've ever had was my delivery order never showing up (not their fault but the delivery drivers) and they immediately comped and replaced my meal. 100% recommend.

We actually tried eating here a few months prior but the wait was nearly 2 hours long. This go around we had no wait. We were immediately sat and our drink orders were taken. Both my daughter and I chose apple juice. We also ordered a small appetizer b/c she was starving. The appetizer was yummy, can't remember what it was called but it was basically like doughnuts without the caramel it comes with. Our server was a young man and he did a fantastic job. He was very attentive to our table and our needs. The food was amazing, now I see why there was a 2 hour wait last time. I rarely eat other people's grits but these were pretty tasty and cooked just right. When I got my check I was in total shock though. Two apple juices (with no refills mind you) were approx. $5 a piece. WTF, why so expensive? I could have purchased a large jug of apple juice from Kroger. Yeah, I know I sound cheap. Nope, that the case just shocked at the price of a small glass of apple juice was with again no refills. We will definitely return next time I visit but we won't get apple juice again, we will stick to water.

It saddens me to leave a negative review about Our Daily Bread, but my most recent experience was…read morevery disappointing. I have lived in Blacksburg my whole life and ODB has been a go-to bakery for most locals for a while. Serving a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and offering lunch, brunch, and dinners. They have a lovely variety of options for customers to enjoy. The bakery primarily serves French pastries and caters to French cuisine at their meals. Although they offer more than just French inspired food. In the past, my family and I have enjoyed grabbing their cakes for celebrations and individual pastries from their pastries case. But recently, they have not been up to par and have left us very unsatisfied. The cakes have been dry and do not taste fresh at all. On my latest visit I tried a couple of things, all of which were cold, with dry, crumbly textures. It was evident to me that these pastries were not made day-of and had clearly sat in a fridge for at least one night (if not more). I found this to be extremely disappointing as ODB used to have a reputation of serving FRESH baked goods and pastries. I cannot attest for the hot food they serve during meal times, but the pastries and cakes have gone down hill. Over the winter break, I had their NY cheesecake bar (which I've gotten in the past and it was phenomenal) and it fell so short of what I remembered. It was lacking flavor and the crust at the bottom was dry. This past visit, I tried a Napoleon (also have had this before and really enjoyed it), a specialty cake, a scone, and a couple macarons and macaroons. The Napoleon was so cold and the puff pastry was super stale, it practically fell apart the second I tried to eat it. The specialty individual cake slice was also very cold and the cake wasn't moist at all. Again, indicating it was not fresh or made day-of. The scone was also a disappointment as it was dry and lacked any moisture. I thought the macrons and macaroons were fine though. While most of this was disappointing, the price didn't help either. Nothing was inexpensive and the quality was completely missing. So disappointing to leave this review as I used to enjoy coming here for sweet treats. It's sad to see that ODB is unfortunately not what it used to be. I will note that the service is very friendly and they do their best dealing with customers. Could have been more efficient, but I did go during a busier time. I hope they can turn things around, but until then I do not think I will be retuning soon.
