This place turned out to be an absolute ace in the hole. We were in town for a football game and looking for a great spot to eat, and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the BLT really stood out--it was loaded with bacon, which was impressive, and tasted amazing. The drinks were solid, and the service was excellent. Our server checked in on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. If I'm ever back in town, this will definitely be a return spot. Parking is a bit tight in the back, but the location is perfect for the college crowd. read more

BT's is a staple in the Radford community. Every time I visit my daughter in college we visit BT's. She also goes often too. The food is a reasonable price. And delicious. The service is friendly. They have a wide variety on the menu. The only set back is parking is limited but on street parking along the road is an option. Try their Buffalo chicken dip, it's delicious. read more

I didn't have the best experience here. I came with a friend on Labor Day and it wasn't very busy, but service was quite slow. It took over 30 minutes for us to get our food, and it wasn't very good either. Seating - indoor, bar, outdoor Arrived around 3pm and I chose to sit at the bar and see if I can get some convo in as I was solo today. Both Cindy and Austin were awesome bartenders willing to engage in conversation. Drinks - good pours and at good cost. RedBreast neat. Food Soup Chicken Chili and their regular chili were both really good, had to try both since the first one was so good. I hear the person who makes the soups has some really good ones even better than the ones i tried. If I lived in the area I would be coming on a regular to try them all. Entree Ribeye - cooked - asked for medium to help render down the fat and it came out so good, now they say there is cajun seasoning, but literally didn't taste in maybe 2 or 3 bites, but the steak was so good it didn't need it. Sides Panned green beans - warning do not speak to close or kiss anyone for about an hour after having these - very garlicky. Though I did enjoy them. I want this place to last and the waiter was very nice, but this has happened when I've had a salad here before. I can't say anything bad about this place. We were driving from Nashville to NJ and saw this place on the highway exit sign. We read some quick reviews and decided to give it a shot. We knew going in that it was a college bar. We did not realize it was directly across from the college. It wasn't overly busy when we got there and we were seated right away. The waiter was at the table quickly. We placed our order and did wait a little bit, but not a big deal. Food was very good. The quesadilla is on the menu as a chicken quesadilla with peppers inside. My daughter only wanted cheese. No problem and was actually very cheesy. I ordered Margaret's bottom pulled pork sandwich with the BT's bbq sauce. Delicious and filling. My husband and I also got a Hazel Hollow and a Turkey bacon club, we both chose onion rings and got a side of coleslaw. The chicken salad was some of the best I've had, very tasty. And the sandwiches are huge, we ended up cutting ours in half and had the rest for lunch the next day. The onion rings were awesome! And the coleslaw must be made fresh in house, it was delicious. I just wish to give the biggest round of applause to BT's and their waitstaff for allowing me the leisure to enjoy a dining experience with the daily specials complementing the bill and taking it easy on my honey's wallet. Dusty-Doo and I have lived in the surrounding areas of Radford but neither one of us had ever taken the time to check out BT's (excluding the student hype) and experience it for what it truly is. Despite it's bar scene exterior and interior on initial walk through- we observed the difference once beyond the doorway & awaiting to be seated (might I add, thankfully the wait time was nonexistent). I was sincerely shocked by the homey feeling brought to us by our welcoming server that didn't shy away from the couple that looked as if they might skip out on the entire check lol. To keep it simple, I allowed the daily special to choose our plate(s) for us. And although we ordered only a single $9.95 pesto burger which was Monday's juicy special. I still can say "plates" w accuracy to the order because the server and kitchen staff had extended their presentation in courtesy and consideration by supplying us w each our own plate so we still felt as if we ordered for 2. Talk about ballin' on a budget w the accomodation of the world (of BT's at least) going the extra mile to make our day a little easier. While in limbo about whether to day drink on a Monday or not I believe it is safe to say on behalf of us both that the choices were officially made for us by the $3 prices for the daily drink which was a lemon vodka OJ mash up really get us in gear to tackle the world despite the gloomy rain in its attempts to prevail. 1st impressions are everything and this date meant everything to me and mine. I have been a patron of BT's since 1976. Always happy with service and food but recently I have noticed those have declined. Food is not the best quality or even hot when served.
