Walked the square and stopped into AC's for a happy hour drink special and to use their restroom. The bartender Ashley was super friendly and very informative on the drink specials. We ordered a whipped pineapple vodka and a blueberry lemonade vodka at the bar. Both drinks returned quickly and both were super tasty. We learned a lot about the bartender and even more about the restaurant. They have a pretty extensive dinner menu with reasonable priced steaks and food as well. What we saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious too. Check out AC's if you ever find yourself in Hernando Mississippi, you'll be happy you did.

But who goes to a steakhouse for a salad? I chose the baked potato is my side. I upgraded it for $2 to what they call the colossal loaded baked potato. It was very good! If I had one critique, it would be that there was no before meal bread offered. It wasn't a big deal. I didn't need it anyway. I usually get my steak medium-rare. In most places, they always overcook it. When the stakes arrived, I was very excited to see they looked great. I cut into my steak and it was cooked perfectly. My wife's steak was also cooked perfectly. She got the filet. She ordered some sauteed mushrooms on the side. I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms, but these mushrooms. Had a very distinct taste. My wife said they were some of the best Mushroom. She's ever had. Our waitress was very pleasant and on the ball constantly. We didn't have to ask for anything. I looked at some of the other reviews here and I was a little confused. When you put this place up against some of the higher end steakhouses, I would still come back to this one. The atmosphere is very casual and the place is clean. The steakhouse is nestled right in the middle of downtown Senatobia. We just happened to be in the area and I'm glad we were. I opted for the sweet potato casserole as my side dish and it was perfectly sweet with a nice brown sugar pecan topping that gave it a nice crunch. My husband had the ribeye as it comes with the Gouda Mac and cheese. He said the steak was a little too lean for him and he would have preferred more marble. He loved the Mac and cheese though and would definitely get it as his side again. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be back.
