Flavor was there, but the portion was diabolical--two small pieces on a plate at this price point just doesn't align with the rest of the experience. This was our first experience to eat in Ignite Steakhouse. Our waitress was extremely attentive and explained all options for a great meal. I had the New York strip and husband had the bone in ribeye. Both steaks were delicious. Our baked potatoes were very good with lots of toppings on the side, and desert was banana pudding and cream brûlée. One exception to the brûlée is they topped it with whipped cream and strawberries. After hardening the sugar, I would prefer no other toppings. This softened the brûlée unfortunately. I made a little suggestion as we were leaving and the waitress agreed with me. Overall, very nice time and we will plan another outing to eat here. read more

I like fast service but not if my food is look warm. The French onion soup is really salty would not recommend. The calamari was good but cold. The ribeye steak is reallly good. Cooked to perfection. The garlic butter was good but could've been more. The lobster was cooked well too. The baked potato was basic but good. And the corn was very flavorful. The bartenders were nice but overworked. The atmosphere of the steakhouse is very relaxing. It is a first class establishment and we had great service and amazing food. The prime NY Strip was one of the best I've ever had. I also tried the lobster chowder, it was good, not great. My wife had a crab cake and the shrimp brochette and loved it! Father's Day Dinner was awesome yesterday. We had a great time and experience was amazing. The ambiance is very welcoming. They are located inside Southland Casino, right behind a bar. They have some Amazing food here for a steakhouse (The Short Rib was awesome w/ the gravy) it's my favorite . And the steaks are very delicious too, very tender with plenty of flavor (I added the Cajun Butter and boy was it delicious) . oh, and service was great as well . Friday August 29th we came to celebrate my husband's birthday. The young ladies that greeted us were very friendly. Our server was Mr. Lamar Barnes. When he came to the table, we knew our experience was going to be excellent because he was so professional with such a warm smile. In this era of terrible service, it was so refreshing to have GREAT service. Because of how he spoke and carried himself, I asked him where he was from. We had an interesting short conversation about him. Of course the food was delicious but along with wonderful customer service, that made our experience a 10 plus. The new addition to the dog track is so nice. Everything was super clean. When we arrived, we were promptly seated and given water and put our drink order in. My husband got a smoked old fashioned. Everyone really enjoyed the bread for the table as well. We ordered Raw oysters and crab cakes for appetizers. The crab cakes should have said crab cake singular. On February 14th we decided to splurge a little and had dinner at the Ignite Steakhouse. It was not posted that there was a specific menu for this night. This was a little disappointing. We decided to stay and try the Valentines evening menu. We checked in at 5:00 pm which was our reservation time. We waited almost 20 min before we were seated. This was not acceptable since the restaurant was empty. The front of house needs an operations manager to improve customer service. We made our choices from the menu. To start was a pairing of crab cake, beef and bacon, shrimp brochette, and lamb loli. We were apprehensive since Steve or I never had lamb. I have to say Chef Stephen Strobbe did an amazing job on the lamb. I have to say it was very good for the first time tasting lamb. We ordered the surf and turf. The flavors were very good however the tenderloin was way under done. They recooked our tenderloin and it came out perfect. The crime brûlée was ok, however it was cold. UPDATE from a visit on December 15, 2023. This is an up date to a previous review for the Ignite Steakhouse bar. Chief Stephen contacted me about our experience. He understood the issues we had and that the menus that was on line was not available. We were invited back to the Ignite Steakhouse by Chief Stephen to sample the new bar menu. Chief Stephen greeted us and explained the menu he had put together for us. The first item was fried calamari. This was probably the best calamari I have ever had. It was cooked perfectly. The second item was the crab cake. This was very good with the perforce aioli for dipping. The third item was the antipasti plate. This was very good especially the focaccia bread. The one item that was missing on the plate was a soft cheese like a goats milk cheese and /or a fig jam. The last two items were Chilean sea bass, fish and chips and the prime beef sliders. I can say hands down the Chilean sea bass was the best I have ever had. I would order this every time I visit Ignite. The prime beef sliders were also good. The flavours of the balsamic caramelised onions enhanced the beef. Over all the Ignite Steakhouse out did themselves with amazing food and service. My husband and I have been wanting to try the bar and the bar menu that has been listed on line for over 2 months. Our schedules allowed us to have a date night on Thursday November 30, 2023 and we chose to visit the bar for dinner and drinks. The bar menu online had sliders , meat and cheese board and Chilean sea bass as a fish and chips as well as a couple of other items. We arrived at the bar and was given menus that were the steak house menus not the bar menu. I asked the bartender about the menu. She told me that the steakhouse menu was the only menu and the bar menu on line was the old menu. First if I wanted the steakhouse menu I would have made reservations. We reluctantly ordered three items off the menu. We ordered a crab cake, Wagyu and Risotto Stuffed Mushrooms and the sea bass with butternut risotto. At this time the bartender told us the on line menu was a NEW menu but not available. What do we believe? Is it a new or old menu??? This is a serious operational and customer service issue. The crab cake was very good. The Wagyu and Risotto Stuffed Mushrooms were over cooked and dry with no Wagyu beef in the risotto. The bar tender had the chef make another order. This order had one small tiny piece of beef in the risotto. The risotto was again over cooked and dry, you couldn't taste the small piece of beef. The sea bass was mediocre compared to Chilean sea bass we've had in other high end restaurants. This experience was a very poor for our date night. This is not the first time we've had an experience that was poor from the Ignite Steakhouse. My recommendations is if you want over priced mediocre food items then visit the steakhouse or go to the buffet for the price. read more

First time eating here. The host was pleasant and seated us immediately. Unfortunately, it took a while for our server to acknowledge us once we were seated even though he'd passed by us a few times. Server wasn't overly attentive to details, as I'd requested dressing on the side of my farmhouse salad, but I received it drenched in their vinaigrette. Tasty, but couldn't eat half of it due to the excessive dressing at the bottom. My companion had a Caesar salad that he enjoyed. He ordered a medium well ribeye that had waayyy more pink than it should have. I like a medium steak, so it tasted great to me but the temperature of it wasn't warm enough. My entree was the sea bass which was good but the sides of mushrooms and creamed spinach were swimming in oil...couldn't eat it. The flight of red wine was okay and the warm bread was good. Can't say that I'd recommend this restaurant based on this experience, and not likely to come back...based on this experience. Expected much better service at this price point. My husband and I went to this restaurant last night. It has a clean and relaxing ambience. Our big issue was that most of the food was too salted. Beginning with the onion soup, and going through to the prime bone-in strip steak and the asparagus. The asparagus was unedible and the steak had big flakes of kosher salt on it. We mentioned this to the manager, who resolved the bill, which we appreciated. This is a nice restaurant, but because of our disappointing meal, we will not return. read more

We did not have reservations when we found Ignite Steakhouse but from the first moment, the gracious hospitality from the person in front with the Manager was amazing. We had a beautiful table in 5 minutes. Now the service was off the charts and can I put a personal Shout Out to my Girl Tania!!!! She was wonderful, personable and just so real and honest. She helped me with my dinner selection and I am still talking about that Red Fish. Our meals for each one of us was spectacular. My Crabcake was just like the one I had in Paris and never had another as good until I was in Ignite. This was the highlight of the night.
