Another great experience here with my family for lunch. Excellent service and delicious food. This place never disappoints.

Small Grilled Chicken Salad was Huge!

Service AWESOME as always. Small grilled chicken salad was huge, but was bland. Salad dressing was warm, and only one grape tomato sliced into 4 mini pieces so I'm sticking w/my favorite loaded baked potato. Still love the atmosphere and music here too.

AC's Steakhouse

I wanted a good steak after my last disappointing one (Most Recent Review) Its my birthday weekend, so I decided to give Ac's a try. I had been wanting to try them for a while. I can say the ambiance was really nice and so was the staff. The atmosphere was casual/nice. I ordered a Margarita to get started. They defiantly don't hold out on the alcohol. I also ordered a shrimp cocktail. I usually receive these in a glass on a bed of Ice and some house made sauce in the middle. These came on a silver platter with cocktail sauce dollop's under them. I cant say I'm a big fan. They were not very cold and the cocktail sauce was very average in taste. The size of the shrimp was decent size. We moved on to the main orders. I ordered the 16oz Ribeye with grilled onions, asparagus, and a side salad. I asked for my steak to be medium rare. The wife ordered the Filet Mignon with mushrooms and a baked potato. She asked if we would be receiving any bread. The waitress said for an up-charge. She would bring some out. The one thing I noticed is everything is a la carte. Your meal comes with one side. The side salad is also an up-charge. I can say the portion sizes for the appetizers and most of the sides were big. I wasn't very impressed with the size of the steaks considering the prices. The steaks in my opinion should be the star of the show! The salad was good but the ranch was a little bland. I received my steak and it was cooked more medium to slightly well. I have just decided no-one knows what a medium rare steak is anymore..... As I stated previously. I wasn't impressed with the size. It was a decent steak, but after the reviews I read. I really expected much better. The taste was also very average bordering on a little bland......Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The asparagus was very bland and under-cooked. My wife and the rest of my party felt the same way. It was expensive for average food. That's why I gave them a three star for the overall experience. If Yelp had half starts it would have been a three point five, but I just cant in good faith give them a four star. The price just don't match the overall quality of the food. Based on our bill I felt a little underwhelmed. I don't mind spending a lot of money on outstanding food. I do mind spending a lot on average food. I wasn't kidding when I said they charge for everything! They even charge an extra 3% for using a card versus cash. Its not a lot of money and it is on their webpage. I just think it should be absorbed in any business. Since we had eight people, there was an automatic 18% gratuity added. Not uncommon these days and our waitress was worth every penny. She worked hard. I tend to tip more than that for a really good waitress. But if they force it. I just tip the forced rate. Would I come back? Probably not....... This place is what I consider just good to average, but very overpriced for the quality of the food you receive. There are much better steak houses out there that would cost you less.

Corn dip

The food was very good. The service was excellent. Our server, Julia, was a rock star.

Special drink menu

Great food and tasty creative cocktails. Good service and nice atmosphere. It was a gorgeous day to sit on the patio under the umbrellas. The inside is nice as well. Lots of seating. I had the chicken and biscuits and gravy. I tried the drink me Alice and the orange dreamsicle martini. The drink me Alice had a nice presentation with a beaker bottle mixer. After drinking it, it started to taste like soup the longer it sat. The Dreamsicle tastes just as described. I also had the fried cheese cake bites. Delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

OMGoodness the shrimp and grits are superb. My hubby really enjoyed his brunch burger and we both delighted over the bloody Mary's

Dark, dirty and run down on the inside. Reminds me of an old TGI Friday. It looks nice and up-to-date but it's deceiving for sure.

They had QR codes on the walls and around 8:30 pm we weren't able to order food anymore even though they were open until 9:00 pm...You also have to walk over to Side Street Burgers to grab food you order! By the time our food was ready, we just decided to bring it home since it took a while! That being said, I think if you were just wanting to grab drinks with some friends after dinner or work, it would be perfect! However, if you are looking for a sit down dinner spot, I'm not sure that's the place for you! They also have an area you can sit outside! It did smell pretty strongly of smoke, so we ended up sitting inside! The employees were all very kind and nice! They just weren't very sure about the ordering and time that service stopped for the night!

There was music playing the whole time but not loud at all - loud enough you could hear it but it didn't impede upon your conversations in the slightest. And by the way the music they had playing last night (Tuesday Feb 10 2026) was EXCELLENT!! I felt like I was at a bar from my youth with that soundtrack. We started with 2 appetizers, pub pretzels and the Celtic queso dip. The pretzels came with honey mustard and some of the queso. The Celtic queso has tortillas and what appeared to be house made potato chips. Both were very good! The 2 adults had some beer on tap. A Yeungling and a 201 Hoplar. Kid (well he is 21 but doesn't drink) had a coke. Entrees were a smash burger with fries, a Buffalo chicken sliders with onion rings, and a shepherds pie with mashed potatoes and gravy and okra. Everything was very good! Often fried things are either over or under done and come out not great however whoever was working the fryer was on it because the onion didn't pull out of the rings when you bit it and the okra was still nice inside the breading. Excellent waitress who kept checking on us and nice environment. What's not to like!! Definitely will return.

But I was super impressed with the quality of the food! I expected a dive. And it is. But the food was fabulous!! Also, our waitress was excellent. Kudos to her. The inside is fun. Definite dive bar energy. We went all in. Appetizers, drinks, entrees. I regret nothing. We started with the queso appetizer and the pub pretzels. Both were very tasty. My one and only critique is that I wished the queso appetizer included some veggies like celery or carrots or something other than just chips. My son ordered the smash burger. Husband got the shepherds pie. I got the buffalo sliders. I like my buffalo chicken to be saucy. So I requested extra sauce. The kitchen seemed to misunderstand and instead of extra saucy, they put my sauce on the side and none on the chicken. Our waitress offered to send it back. That was not necessary. So she brought me lots of extra sauce. Incredible. The sauce was excellent. The chicken was excellent!!! Superb quality. Honestly, quite possibly the highest quality piece of chicken I've had on a chicken sandwich. Tender, moist, flavorful, and a large piece of meat. Very very impressed. I got the onion rings, at the suggestion of our waitress. They were fantastic. Washed it all down with a Yuengling. Truly, I can't say enough about this place. I was highly impressed. Most of the other customers appeared to be regulars who were seated at the bar. There were only a few groups seated at traditional tables. It was a Tuesday evening so I'm sure it's much busier on a Friday or Saturday. Oh - and just as we were leaving, they were setting up for karaoke. Apparently Tuesdays are karaoke night. Oh! And! The check was $77. That's with three beers, a Coke, two appetizers, three entrees! Not bad. Not bad at all!!

Recommend the pimento cheese bread sticks for appetizer or any other time. Also, this was the first time I've had a Kilkenny draft which was another highlight. I see now it's rare to find. Smooth and creamy. If I lived nearby, I would be here more often. It's a little on the expensive side, but well worth the price and experience. The waitress was nice but not very attentive. Focused more on the larger table which I get but I also am a paying customer. Food came out quick and hot and always for a great price. I was hoping for their crispy brussels sprouts but they do not serve for brunch/lunch so had to go with ole faithful "The Scotch Egg". If you have never had one you should definitely try it and the mustard sauce is amazing with it. Unfortunately for you reading this, I didn't get a picture because I devoured that thing the second my plate hit the table!!! For my main meal I went with the corned beef reuben which you can see in the picture just looks thrown together on the plate (very unappealing). The corned beef was a bit dry and tough, the "special sauce" was non existent and couldn't even taste. The best part about a reuben is the crisp buttery rye bread but with this sandwich it sadly was not toasted at all which really takes away from the flavor as well. The chips were just your standard frozen bits but add some salt and ketchup, you're good to go. To top off I went with the crème brûlée for dessert which is always a winner. I will more than likely return as I do enjoy the restaurant and hope that my next experience is a bit more enjoyable.
