Amazing food, service, and atmosphere for a date night. We went for my husband's bday dinner on a Thursday night & sat in the bar area. It was intimate and relaxed. We did order off the regular menu. Not the date night special (it looked great also) I recommend the tenderloin crostini with chimichurri. And the tuna steak and blackened red snapper all were delicious! And luckily they had the brownie as a special dessert, but it definitely needs to be added to the regular menu. It was the best I've ever had! Ask for Emma she was a great server/bartender!

Grab a cup of coffee and let's talk about our New Year's Eve dinner! I have been anxious to try this restaurant so we made reservations to celebrate the new year and our anniversary. We were seated immediately in the outer room beside the huge windows overlooking the woods. The view was nice and our table had an extra sprinkling of decoration to denote our anniversary celebration. The only downside to the room was that a group of 10 was also seated in this small room and the noise echoed off the walls. My husband and I had difficulty talking because we couldn't hear one another. We were thrilled when the table received their food and began to eat instead of talking so loudly. We began our meal with beef tartar and crispy pork belly. My tartar was excellent but I really wished the capers had been present. It would have elevated the flavor to perfection. The pork belly was not quite as crispy as it should have been. There was some unrendered fat that gave it an unpleasant texture. We both had the Cajun Seafood Chowder for our starter. It was AMAZING! Perfectly balanced. Piping hot. Loaded with seafood. Just wow! For entrees, my husband ordered the filet and I had the duck breast. I had one bite of his filet and it was phenomenal. Melt in your mouth delicious! My husband said it was the best he has ever eaten. High praise coming from him! The duck breast, unfortunately, left me wishing I had ordered the filet. Let me say, it was good. Especially when you had a bite of sweet potato with the duck. Great flavor combo for sure but my duck was almost burnt on the outside. I'm sure it was the honey and bourbon glaze that overcooked quickly. The result was a very tough piece of meat. It was difficult to cut and difficult to chew. We ordered the two dessert options so we could split them and try them both. My husband preferred the Pecan Pie Brûlée while I preferred the Blueberry White Chocolate Bread Pudding. Both were good but I wouldn't come back just for the desserts... except maybe the caramel sauce on that bread pudding! It was light and crave worthy! The service was impeccable. We were greeted and wished a Happy Anniversary by every employee from the time we entered the door until we left. Our server, Evonne, was attentive and engaging. We will request her area on our new reservation. This review is more detailed and a little more critical because of the culinary quality of food expected and the cost of the meal. This special menu was $90 per person. A 20% service charge is automatically added and then, of course, we tipped our server. In conclusion, I would absolutely eat here again! I would highly recommend it to my friends and family. If I could rate it a 4.5 I would. If I had ordered the filet instead of duck this would have been a 5 out of 5 without hesitation!

The atmosphere here is really nice and the outdoor venue seems like a nice place to have a wedding. Service staff were really nice and accommodating. The chef came out to check how the food was and asked if we had any questions. Prove was not to bad. For all five of us it was roughly $200. Onto the food review. The bacon tasting as an appetizer was a fun experience for my kids and I to try but nothing wowing. The crab cake was large, full of crab and the mango relish was delicious with a little kick on the back end. My wife had the crusted salmon which was good but not much flavor. I had the blackened snapper which was moist and full of flavor. My kids shared the shrimp & grits along with the filet which they devoured leaving nothing left on the plate. For dessert we tried the bread pudding which was the right amount of sweetness at the end. I watched many other items being taken to other tables and have every intention of going back to try some because they looked delicious. I would recommend this place as the food, atmosphere and staff are great while not being too heavy on the wallet.

We have now had 2 private events and 1 catered meal from here. Chef Michael has been so accommodating to me. The filet is amazing. We have enjoyed every bit of food. They have themed nights where you can get a multi course meal, or you can order from their menu. They offer dinner and brunch. We have had multi course meals from here. The crab and lobster cake was phenomenal (and i dislike crab cakes). White chocolate bread pudding was amazing as well.

My husband and I stopped by on a Saturday night without a reservation. We were sat in the bar area which was great because we could watch all the football games. I had the wedge salad to save room for dessert. The wedge was perfect. We got the peanut butter chocolate cake and the brownie with ice cream drenched in caramel pecan sauce. They were soooooo good. As much as I love the entrees here I was so glad to be able try the desserts this time! Don't miss out on an opportunity to visit the grounds at Bonne Terre. It's a beautiful place with an amazing restaurant on site! The service is top tier!

We had a really good experience at Grand Buffet! I feel like this buffet can be hit or miss, but…read moretoday was very fresh! I think I would have given them a 3.5 stars if you could give half stars. Monday-Friday they have a lunch buffet for adults from 11 am-3:30 pm for $14.70! This seems to be the cheapest price, but can also come on other days and times (photo attached with updated prices). You can also get a takeout box which they weigh to see how much it would cost you. We immediately got a seat and were able to get our food no problem! The restaurant was very busy and people really seemed to be enjoying coming. They do have a "wall of shame" when you first come in with people that have left the restaurant without paying for their food. I have never seen this before and find it interesting they screenshot their security cameras and print off photos of people to put on the wall! I hate they have had so many people leave without paying...just wanted to mention it since it was a shock to me the first time! The restrooms are very dark and not super clean. The water does get hot though! Overall the food was really good! The sushi wasn't super fresh tasting but other than that liked the other food.

We buy take-out at this business atleast twice a month so our cost is usually predictable. We…read morenoticed whenever this cashier-Manger, listed on our receipt, is not working, our price is lower. He is an asian man and always there on Sundays. Twice we challenged him on our total because it seemed high. When we got our phone to do the math, he immediately lowered it by 10%. On the receipt during our last visit, he first said it was $53.74. After the challenge, he lowered it to $49.22. The receipt read total of $53.74 if tip of $4.52 offered. This has happened twice, that we know of. Be careful when you order take-out. We should be allowed to see the weight of the food. Deceptive business practices seem to be occuring here. That 10% tip could greatly add up. Who leaves a tip for take-out?
