Went here on a summer weekend golfing trip. Played 3 rounds of golf at the course located on the resort. Course was in excellent shape. Greens, fairways, and tee boxes were flush and freshly mowed. Rented a single family house for the weekend. It had 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and was very clean and updated. The house was fully equipped with clean sheets, bathroom towels, toilet paper, Dish Network, grills, plates, silverware, cooking utensils and even a bread maker (Note to owner: Maybe a blender might be more functional. I don't know many people who go vacationing planning on making a loaf of bread). For the price we paid to go on the trip the value was exceptional! The only reason for 4 starts is that the service at the resort bar/restaurant was mediocre. I almost got the feeling they don't like out-of-towners. You work at a tourist resort! Warning: There is a general store just outside the resort, but the nearest full grocery store is not close. Either plan accordingly or plan on a lengthy trip to buy food if you want to cook any meals. read more

This was our first time skiing here. I decided to give this small ski resort a try since hearing some positive comments from others. I had bought lift tickets online ahead of time since ski resorts are requiring tickets to be bought online in advance to limit the number of people because of the coronavirus. By the way, you'll need to wear a face mask when getting on and off the ski lift and if you go anywhere public space indoors. We were here for the opening day for the 2020/2021 winter season. Not all of the trails were open when we went. As I mentioned, this ski resort is small so the number of ski trails are limited. There is only one ski lift to the top of the mountain. Mainly, the trails from top of the mountain eventually merge into one of three trails towards the base. As other online reviews mention, this is a good place for beginners to ski. In my opinion, it is a relaxing place to ski and the trails are not that challenging. As I had heard from others, this resort is not as as crowded as some of the other larger resorts so you have ample space for skiing and can also get on the lift fairly quickly. There is essentially one main green trail (beginner) from the top of the mountain to the base. One small/short bunny hill for new skiers and little kids at the base area. All other trails are blue (intermediate) with a very short section of crossover trail between two blue trails that the resort categorizes as diamond (expert). Quite frankly, the blue trails here would probably be considered green trails at other bigger ski resorts. There is also an area adjacent to the ski area that is for snow tubing. But, the tickets for snow tubing have to be purchased separately. We didn't go snow tubing. One complaint I have is that the Bryce Resort Web site does a terrible job of communicating to people that they don't begin night skiing until Christmas. I bought full day lift tickets with the intent for us to ski until 8:30 PM (closing). We (as well as many other skiers and snowboarders) were disappointed when they closed the lift at 4:30 PM and were told that they won't begin having night skiing until Christmas. Fortunately, we were able to get several hours and a lot of runs down the mountain. Oh...another thing...to get to Bryce Resort, you actually have to drive through a residential neighborhood with a narrow road. I didn't see any signage to direct you to the resort on the way there. Unless you've been here before, you'll definitely need to use your GPS. Overall, we had a relaxing and fun time skiing. read more

If you are skiing from a helicopter blasting rush while shredding your way down a double black diamond, giving two middle fingers to the world, this place is not for you. If you are a beginner skier, want a casual ski environment, or have a family of any size, THEN BRYCE IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! The all caps statement should reinforce that idea. I have been coming here for 20 years now, I learned to ski here, and my family and I come back every year with family or friends. The slopes are always nice or at least groomed, they improved snow making from the past, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There are not that many runs on the mountain (8 total I think), but if you are learning it is a good set up, and you will feel like a pro by the end of the day. Its great for kids, the last day I was skiing there I swear it was my GF, me, and about 532 children, all skiing. But there was no crazy line for the lift, no blocked runs from groups of snowboarders, and no stress. Its a great place for anyone aged 4-104, and the prices are very competitive with the region. They also are very flexible and helpful, for example I saved a few bucks when I extended my two day rental to three days. And if you don't like skiing, try the tubing! I know I will be back here many more times, hopefully with my own kids one day. Family fun, family prices, family time. Sweet place, dude. read more

Can I give a place no stars? The rooms are set in 1982. We used The fireplace and the ventilation was horrid. - we have a fireplace at home And know how to use one. We were later informed that our room's location was not good for using the fireplace. There are no carbon monoxide detectors. The manager told me that nothing has ever happened so they don't see a need to put one in. Brilliant ! We were here for the 4th of July fireworks. The fireworks were fine but there was more pot being smoked than at some grateful dead concerts I've attended. I'm no prude but the place was full of kids and having that much weed in the air was gross. The place may have been great during Reagan's first term but now it's run down and depressing. The restaurant is ok but way too expensive. I got this week for free from my timeshare and will be leaving early. We were here in the summer so I have no idea what the skiing is like. Also, there is a pool and playground that could only be used by owners not time share people. One good thing is that the maintenance man was helpful read more

It's hard to rate the resort because it totally depends on your reason for visiting. Last weekend I went snow tubing with some friends and give that a solid 5 stars for organization, a lift up the slope, fun employees, and a longer than average slope. We had a blast! But the skiing is obviously sub-par, even for this neck of the woods. Good for beginners and kids but gets pretty old pretty fast with it's approx 4 slopes. Can't speak to summer activities but hope to return to find out! read more

We took a day trip on a Tuesday. The resort was wide open with no lines. First time my kids where skiing. The ski school was amazing. I would highly recommend this resort for any first-time skier. We ate at the restaurant at the bottom of the hill the food service was great and the food was very good. The all-around atmosphere of Bryce resort was fantastic. Will be back soon. read more

Stayed in the chalet high. Property is ok but very out of date. Ants in the dishwasher. Staff is friendly. We had 6 cats hanging around our patio which was a first and somewhat odd. Clearly someone fed them routinely. read more

We stopped by the resort during our summer vacation to kill some time and see what they had to offer. Me and my son decided on some mini-golf and I have to say that I was not impressed. While each hole seemed to be handmade and all made out of wood, it was unfortunate that almost all of the objects that were supposed to move were not working. I think that they could make this a great thing for families to do, especially during the summer months. I will say that the woman in the golf shop was very polite and was able to help. read more

Bryce bike park is a great place to learn and progress your skills once you have gotten comfortable riding. The staff couldn't be nicer, especially Hayden in the bike shop. We knew literally nothing about bikes, and he patiently walked us through how to replace the break pads and do a pre-bike check to make sure it is safe before a ride. We have taken our bikes in there countless times with novice questions that show how ignorant we are, but we have never felt awkward asking him for help. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to take your bike to the shop! Odds are, you will learn something new. Back to the trails, there is a clear natural progression that you should make while getting better. From the green trail to Brew Thru to Screwdriver to Car Bomb, you should be entertained at Bryce for a long time with jumps, drops, and some technical bits. read more

an excellent experience for the new/moderate skiier or family ski trip with younger children. several bunny slopes to learn the basics and several larger runs for the more familiar skiier. not for an aggressive/expert skiier wanting very challenging slopes. the Friday i went had literally no lines at the lifts and only a handful of skiiers on the slopes. snow tubing area and two lodges/restaurants area at the base of the slopes as skiing alternatives. ski class for new skiiers every few hours. $150 for two extended day (9am to 8:30pm) lift tickets with equipment rentals. 5 female co-workers and I went to Bryce Resorts for a stress free weekend (8/15/14). We work in a high stress profession and looked forward to the weekend for months. However, when we arrived at the tubing/rock wall site at our SCHEDULED time we were told to wait until the man that made the decisions got back. We waited, when he returned we asked if we could tub. The were no other visitors there. He said "take a free trip down and see if you like it". 2 out of our group LOVED it and wanted to pay the fee to tub. 2 others opted to just do the rock wall. We were told to find another activity because we could not do either. I asked if we were over the weight limit (weights in our group ranged from 115lbs - 200lbs). He refused to answer and gave no other explanation. Other guests arrived, 2 children a woman and 1 large man and all were allowed to tub. Our group was all ladies, all professionals and all polite. We will never recommend this resort and hope this staff person will not be allowed to mistreat other guests. So sad, such a lovely area but our staff will take business to the other resort which treated us very well in the past. read more
