This place is always amazing! I was so surprised to learn that Marisol was let go as wait staff. She's an amazing person and an accommodating server. She was always careful to see that my order was just right. She's like family to my brother and I. I will miss her so much! read more

Rainy Saturday morning arrived around 8:20 am and quickly seated. Greeted warmly on arrival. Server and staff very friendly and attentive. Had the vegetable omelette which was huge and I couldn't finish it all. Might be due to the side of ham as well. They kept my coffee cup full. Spacious open space, bright with high ceilings. First time visit and based on the experience I will be back the next time I am in town. read more

Easy parking, great service, good food, reasonable prices, comfortable environment. What more do you want? Had the Ruben, and wife had the biscuits and gravy. Excellent choices. And a n extensive menu offering. If I lived nearby, I'd become a regular. Sadly, this will become a once a year pilgrimage. read more

Really nice they have some parking right out front and the parking garage is really close. Got seated right away. Our waitress didn't come by for a while and apologized as she wasn't aware of us being sat in a spot that wasn't usually hers I think. Well she was very kind and made sure we have got everything we needed and checked up on us multiple times to make up for it. I had coffee and asked for hot water, which I was offered option of lemon and honey. Coffee was really good and wasn't too strong and was really smooth. I ordered the veggie omelette added cheddar cheese. There were lots of veggies and had perfect amount of cheese added. If you want extra cheese then I would suggest to just ask. Very large portion. Came with choice of diced pototoes and fruit, but chose the hash browns. Waitress suggested to cook a bit little longer for the crispiness, which was really good suggestion and was delicious. Also came with a choice of toast or pancakes, so I choose pancakes with blueberries. Very fresh and delicious blueberries. My friend had the raspberry Gluten free pancakes and it was huge. Also had the diced potatoes and cooked longer to be extra crispy. Definitely had leftovers and recommend trying breakfast/brunch. read more

Met a friend here for breakfast. They do not have a separate GF menu but do offer some options on the regular menu. I ordered GF pancakes with raspberries and diced potatoes. The server indicated the pancakes are cooked on the same griddle. I asked if they could wipe it down and she said yes. She also indicated all the breakfast potatoes are GF. I also ordered a chai which was really good. read more

The skillet I chose was disappointing... instead of sweet potatoes they were sweet potato tots. Terrible! Yeah I should of asked questions, but expected sweet potatoes and some flavor...there were even pieces of the apple core in my food, it was so bland. Blueberries were not fresh, they were soft and slimy. Waitress spilled a glass of water on the table which resulted in a soaked sweater sleeve, wet pants and soaked feet with my sandals. it was our 1st and last time there....hopefully. I was crying inside, it was awful. It was so not enjoyable but tried my best to fake it off, we had kids, and guest with us. While paying I was surprised to have not gotten a discount for the wet clothes or the wait for coffee. After paying, stupid me tipped the 20 percent... read more

Always a good classic place for brunch before walking around the river. Plenty of space, no waiting, and huge portions. Usually leftovers for another meal or perhaps two. Fresh ingredients and tasty. The meditation omelet was perfect, light, and fulfilling served with diced potatoes crispy outside and tender inside. I had the Pancake, which satisfied my sweet tooth. Refreshing and indulging Berry smoothly. The servers could be a bit more friendly, I get the feeling they have a sense of entitlement like they are doing me a favor when I'm a paying customer. Well. . . Good servers are hard to come by. Will keep coming back for the food and the walk after indulging myself. read more

It's been a VERY long time since I'd been to Brunch Cafe. Last time I remember waiting over an hour for a table so I was pleasantly surprised when we were seated right away this morning. The hostess and our waitress were both very helpful and attentive. Everything on the menu looked great but I ended up trying the sweet potato skillet. The sweet potato tots were perfectly crisp and the apple and gouda paired so well together! I swapped my side for fruit which was a mix of pineapple, honey dew, cantaloupe, and grapes which were all very fresh and high quality. My aunt ordered the potato crusted omelet which was so creative and looked great too! The other members at my table opting for pancakes as their side but asked them to-go and they came in to-go boxes which was perfect! Overall very happy with my visit! read more

This was our first time eating at Brunch Cafe! There was plenty of parking and many tables inside the restaurant. The decor was warm and inviting. I ordered a vegetable omelette with pancakes. Cheese was extra, but I did add cheddar to my omelette. The cheese should have been free like other brunch places. It was a cold day and this was perfect comfort food. I had a nice breakfast. I came here with my friends, but I will bring my family next time. read more

Excellent! The girl who served us was great. The creeps were delicious. I like omelette, potatoes delicious

We have gone here for years for breakfast once a week. We have gotten to know some of the staff who have been there for years. One in particular, Marisol, was wait staff there for years too. We would always ask to be in her area if we could, and without exception, she is the most fun, accommodating wait staffer we have ever encountered. She has a smile for everyone and would get you anything you wanted or needed and recall your order too. Recently she was let go from the St. Charles location. This was devastating to us, and we couldn't figure out why. We know that management does things we don't like and at times has good reason, but over years we never saw anything that would require firing without a moment's notice from Marisol. They sited team issues to us. Hmmm, well we'll find another breakfast spot for sure. There are many we can go to and get good food; standard service. read more

Excellent service, but 1/2 of the food was lukewarm. We heard the restaurant was Great, but that was not my experience. Probably will not return! read more

Right when you walked in, you were greeted with the friendly staff right away. I noticed the cleanliness of this place right away as well. I got seated first while waiting for my friend and the waitress came by right away to greet me and grabbed water first. My friend and I ordered and shared two entrees. We got the caliente omelette and the country fried steak. And she ordered pancakes with a side of bacon and fruits for her daughters. They brought out the food really fast and service was amazing. Our waitress knew that we were sharing the entrees so she gave us our own sides of salsa and sour cream and made sure we had 2 plates. I will definitely recommend and be back at this spot again. read more

If I had the money, I would have breakfast every morning here! Everything was godly amazing. Nothing was left to take to go or left behind on the plate. The churro waffle was crispy and fluffy once you got to the center. Huge portion and perfectly made. The strawberry shortcake pancakes will melt in your mouth. The center has a blanket of cream that makes a juicy stacked layer. Usually when I order country fried steak, it's too salty. This was a perfect balance with the gravy. The wait wasn't too bad, about 10 minutes. Service was great. I liked that they display their brunch specials by the waiting area. read more

A calm and relaxing brunch place. Just the right family type of vibes but also we went on a Friday. I could see the place be busy during the weekend! Mimosas were good, felt like a good mix of juice and alcohol. I loved my Egg'ceptional with Corned Beef Hash. Usually the corned beef hash is a 50-50 for me but this reminded me of Filipino style so it was really good. The cinnamon swirl pancakes were huge! Definitely worth your money and also really good. I was hesitant if it was going to be too sweet but it was just right. Can't wait to come back and taste the rest of the menu! read more

The Brunch Cafe is the "Best of the Best" of breakfasts in the St. Charles area. All of your favorites are on their very impressive menu. Their breakfasts are fresh, delicious and huge! We were most impressed with their staff.. especially Sandra! She's super sweet, professional and she could teach other restaurants in the area on how to treat customers. She also gave new meaning to the term "Multi- Tasking"!! We love her and the rest of their amazing staff! We can't wait to come back and work our way through the rest of the menu!!! This was an excellent brunch experience on a Sunday!! It began with our amazing waitress Samantha... she had a bright and charismatic energy and was extremely attentive to make sure we were happy and deserves HIGH Commendation from management. She made a suggestion of the California Crepes and it was exactly what I wanted ! The crepe has a sweetness which to me is the perfect blend with the savory avocado spinach and bacon! My daughter loved her simple 2/eggs hash browns and sausage with a choice of a side of pancakes included. The pancakes were light and fluffy and did not have that dense flour taste.. they were like little clouds. Although busy we were seated immediately because we called ahradand got on the waitlist 20minutes in advance. The Hostess who checked us out was also very NICE and welcoming! Loved the whole experience and atmosphere. read more

Went there for a friend's birthday wanting a sweet breakfast, got the strawberry banana crepes and they were basically dessert for breakfast but in the best way. We love the Brunch Cafe! There are so many delicious options for breakfast items, whether pancakes, French Toast, omelets, eggs Benedict, etc. The carrot cake pancakes are my personal favorite. The service is always good and the restaurant is cute and comfortable. They have luncheon items, too, but we have never been there for lunch. Giving a 5 star because I don't have really any complaints. We got seated right away. Natalie took our order. The food came out within 10mins and it tasted alright. Side note: eggs over easy were nice large eggs, thumbs up. Some brunch places use smaller eggs, thumbs down. Prices were fair on our check. Affordable to eat here definitely. Overall, we have a pretty good average experience. Nothing exceptional, but nothing bad either. Country steak was good. 7/10 Ay-caramba skillet was good. 7/10 read more
