Claire is awesome! When I came to her, I expressed my concerns and what I wanted and she was very helpful in finding the perfect brow shape for me. She's very responsive when you message her about any questions too. She will draw out the shape for you first so you can see what you're going to get and you can make your adjustments there. She's very attentive to detail. She's got all sorts of tools like rulers, protractors, etc to make sure your brows are PERFECT. She won't move forward until everything matches up. She will walk you thru each and every step so you feel comfortable. My brows look SO natural that whenever I point them out, I'm usually surrounded by everyone getting up close to see how realistic my brows look. ( I did microshading) I will admit I was very nervous at first but once they healed, I almost kicked myself for doubting Claire. For first timers: Just know the first 10 days will be a bit of an emotional ride if you've never done this. Fresh tattoos are bigger and bolder but once they heal, they look amazing. Once you get them done, it'll be a lot cheaper to get them touched up after 1 yr. If you're reading this and wondering if you should do it, this is the sign you've been looking for. I've been considering having my eyebrows microbladed for years, just never committed to actually getting them done. I've looked around for awhile and came across Brows by Claire. I am so happy I went with Claire. She did a terrific job. I have brows, but some parts were sparse due to all the plucking I did in my younger years. I wanted a thicker more natural look. Luckily, I fell in to the category where microblading is a good option for me because of my skin type. My brows looks so much thicker and she gave it a natural arch. The process was pain free because of the numbing ointment that's applied. There were stinging when she applied the ink, which was like applying alcohol to a cut. So, practically painless. I've been looking into getting my eyebrows done but was really hesitant to do anything with it. My friend recommended me to see Claire. I have such sparse eyebrows that whenever I take pictures, I kinda look like Mona Lisa (no offense to anyone). I came in as a "model" because Claire does teach classes on the procedures she offers as well as her techniques. Claire was teaching the student how to do "soft ombrè powder brows". I was so nervous going into this procedure and committing to the whole thing but Claire was so nice and reassured me that she will be there every step of the way. They started out explaining what they were going to do and proceeded to measure the shape for my eyebrows and I'm so happy that Claire asked for my input as well. After the measurements, they were numerically precise that even I was thoroughly impressed. In regards to the procedure, I may have a high pain threshold because the pain during the procedure was actually tolerable. Both Claire and her student constantly asked me if I felt pain or discomfort but I was generally fine. After the procedure, she explained the post-care for the eyebrows as well as what to expect and avoid as to maximize the appearance of the eyebrows. From sparse eyebrows to leaving there with full-on eyebrows, I am so happy and thrilled with everything! It took some time to get used to seeing my face with eyebrows, but I love every bit of it. Claire and her student did such an AMAZING job that I can't thank them both enough for their WONDERFUL work! I highly recommend her! I want to start off by saying I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE WAY MY BROWS TURNED OUT! This is my second time getting microblading, but my first time with Claire. First, Claire is such a sweet person! I was late about 20minutes to the appointment because I put in the wrong address in. I hate being late to this appointments because I know how important it is to be on schedules for these kinds of services. I felt really bad but Claire was really sweet about it, and told me that I don't need to worry about it and that she wants me to drive safe. Second, the place is a bit small but it makes sense because it's only you and Claire in the room. I actually liked it more because it felt more personal and you get her attention 100%. There aren't other clients waiting or workers coming in and out of the rooms. I think it is important for you to feel welcomed and comfortable for services like these where they are working on your body parts, you know? Third, my brows look amazing! The very first time I got my brows done was about two years ago in Korea. The person did an okay job but my brows were way too dark and unnatural looking for months. And once it started fading, it started fading in orangish color that I could not really get rid of and was very visible when I wasn't wearing make up. So I wanted to cover that and fill up the front of my brows, while looking natural. The first week my brows seemed a little thick and dark, but now people can't even tell I got microblading unless I tell them so. She did a really good job meeting my desires because I wanted brows where they look nice without make up but natural enough for me to fill in a little more when I am wearing make up. Omg! My eyebrows are amazing! I recently had my eyebrows done by Claire and they look great! Her private studio is really clean (the most important), organized, and comfortable. Parking is really simple. She made me feel relaxed about the process, not rushed, and really listened to what I was hoping to achieve with my brows. That was really important to me because I prefer my brows styled a certain way. My eyebrow hairs grow up and it takes a really experienced brow stylist to do them well - and she definitely did them well.
