Elevate by Ayumi is located inside Sola Salons right next to Walmart. I had Ayumi do a color correction on my old microbladed brows & went back a few months later for classic eyeliner. The Brows: Ayumi was very friendly and attentive. She listened to what I desired for my brows. After a quick examination of my brows she began to draw on a shape. We did a few shape variations until we found a shape that we both felt was perfect! She uses a pretty good numbing cream so I didnt feel any pain. She did reapply the numbing cream a few times during the procedure. Ayumi did a phenomenal job on my brows. I'm so in love with them. Eyeliner: I decided to get my eyeliner done with Ayumi after she did such an awesome job on my brows. She once again, drew the shape that we both thought would fit my eyes. She numbed it & took her time to fill on the liner. She did not disappoint! My eyeliner looks great! I did a ton of research for weeks before going with Ayumi, and I'm really glad I did. I had narrowed it down to three artists and was trying to decide between them, two of whom had more experience and seemed more established than Ayumi. But ultimately, I decided to go with Ayumi because I loved the style of her ombre brows and her work seemed really consistent. When she first drew on my brows and I looked in the mirror, I was pretty shocked because of how dark and thick they looked (even though I had requested slightly thicker brows haha). I guess I just wasn't used to seeing them on me like that. I asked her to make them slightly thinner, and she obliged, but she did remind me that they would shrink in size after healing. Ayumi is AH-MAZZINGG! I came in today for my touch up (she did my ombré powder brows in April 2019). I always liked how much time she put into mapping my eyebrows and made sure that I liked the shape before starting. She also has a very light hand and I could barely feel anything the whole time. When I asked her to Microblade a few strands in the front of my brows to make it look more natural she did it without any hesitation and it came out better than I could imagine. I got my eyebrows microbladed by Ayumi in July and just got my touch up session a few days ago... and I love my eyebrows!!! At the initial appointment, she used a measuring tape and very carefully drew the shape of my desired eyebrows. She is so patient and we spent a really long time just drawing the shape lol. Once you are happy with the shape, she will put the numbing cream on and then get started with the microblading process! Microblading hurts a little but it's really not bad at all. After the first visit, my eyebrows were still a little light and not full but she reassured me that's something to be fixed at the touch up. 4-6 weeks later I came in for my touch up and we reshaped the brows as well as made them darker! They are perfectly what I wanted!! I no longer have to spend time in the morning drawing in my mismatched eyebrows. Thank you Ayumi!! She takes the extra steps to making sure to follow all the safety protocols to protect her clients. I felt very reassured in my safety. I needed to have my previously microbladed eyebrows from another artist redone. They were turning pink and lost it's shape. I decided to go with the ombré powder technique since I read it usually last longer with oily skin. Ayumi is very professional and did exactly what I asked for which was to keep it natural as possible since I don't wear any makeup during the week. I did panic a little on day 2-4 since it got super dark and thick. As Ayumi explained, it did get about 20% thinner and 40% lighter. My brows took longer than expected to fully heal but I love them so far. I will most likely make them a little bit darker and more defined at my touch up session in a few weeks. **UPDATE: Fully healed after touch up session and I love them even more.
