Unfortunately, I had an uncomfortable experience with another employee, Alexis. She began speaking about another coworker while I was receiving my service, so I politely asked her to please stop talking because all I wanted was to relax and have a peaceful experience. She later approached me a second time while I have chemicals on my eyes and I again told her that I did not want to talk. I did not feel comfortable hearing the conversations and wanted no altercation. I simply wanted to relax and enjoy my service. I did let the owner know about my experience. I am now being asked to remove Alexis's photo from my Yelp and Google reviews. I understand that the business may want to address the situation and improve its protocols, but this experience did happen to me on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. I am sharing my honest, firsthand experience as a customer. My intention is not to attack anyone, but simply to document what happened and hopefully prevent another customer from having a similar experience.

I found sumi and saw their new client promo price ($55 for a regular full set) and decided to try them since it would be a low price risk in case I have a reaction. There was some confusion over the new promo price with the first girl telling me after my first set it would be $95, then my tech telling me that for what I wanted today it would be $95. She was able to explain and clarify the promo so today's set was $65 because the 2 tip hairs was +$10. Great. I knew I wanted a very natural, light feel with adding just a bit of volume as my lash line is light and cannot hold much (also having sensitivity). I learned from experience. My tech showed me the lengths and it was go time. I knew how simple of a style and shape I wanted based on how I wear my strip lashes. The best part of my experience is that she only took about 35 minutes to apply my extensions, that's what I'm talking about! I know my set is not as dramatic or voluminous but it came out really great and so far they feel comfortable. I really hope they last and don't give me problems the next days ahead. Regular (signature sumi) full set: 2 tips, natural C curve, 9-11 mm, cute style I hope they do well so I can come back for a fill in the next few weeks. Always smiling when she sees you. Always does an amazing job with my brows and very attentive to what eyebrow shape I am looking for. Very happy customer! Highly recommend Mona! Please make an appointment online or via phone call, so there is less wait time! Walk-ins are welcome, but you will not know how long you will need to wait. Also, Ziba sells other makeup products as well. I always get their dark brown eyebrow pencils when I'm here. Love it and have been using it ever since! Parking lot is super small here, but I never had any problems in finding a parking spot no matter what time of day I'm here. However, if there isn't any, neighborhood street parking is available or even parking across the street where there are many business parking spaces in that area.

We made an appointment and still waited nearly an hour. No apology, no explanation, and absolutely zero respect for our time. But the worst part was the cleanliness. The facility was disgustingly dirty and did not appear hygienic at all. For a place where proper sanitation should be a priority, what we saw was extremely concerning. Between the horrible customer service, ridiculous wait time, and lack of cleanliness, I would never recommend this place to anyone. You've been warned. Look elsewhere.
