She is so sweet and kind and makes the whole procedure very comfortable. She is not heavy-handed at all and clearly understands her craft as an expert! Because I have had this procedure done before, going over previous shape and color can be an added complication but Kayla did such a great job and there were no issues with previous work showing through after healing. First off, I just gotta say that I am very chicken and afraid of pain! I my eyebrows shaded before somewhere else and I cried cuz it hurt. Went to oc for the weekend and since I've been wanting to do my eyebrows for a very long time, I spent some time researching my options on yelp. I literally don't have any eyebrows and so it's a hassle for me to have to draw them on everyday. Since I'm extremely picky with my brows, it took me quite some time to find a place. However, after many calls and contacting several places on yelp, I opted for Kayla at Gimmebrows. My biggest concern regarding popular artists is that they charge well over $500 to get your brows done and are always overbooked. Kayla is a new microblading artist and when I called her for a consultation, her service was superb. First off, her pricing is much more affordable than the other places (which was one of my main deciding factor). It was $250 for the initial microblade and a $100 touch-up. She addressed my concerns about not getting the right shape I wanted because she took 1 hr drawing my eyebrow shape until I liked it (I did say I'm picky). She also made sure I was comfortable because I'm scared of pain so she allowed the numbing agent to set. When we were done, she also gave me directions for the after care and followed up with me a few days after to check up on my brows. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended for anyone who's tired of filling in their brows! I'm not sure how long she's keeping her good price but hope she remains it for a while. read more
