Just a brief exchange and instructor Thao knows exactly how to provide comfort. Excellent attention to detail, she definitely came to work with a warm heart. I hope everyone in every industry, in any working position, high or low, possesses such care and professionalism as her. She made me and my mother feel very comfortable. Thank you! Instructor Hoang was also a genuinely caring person with a good work ethic. Her focus was to provide sincere care for every customer. I do see that in the conversation and service she provided. She is right, once any person accepts any working position, is to do their best at their duties, providing care through their work. I do believe it is such a mentality that customers can be in good hands. Great mindset! The manicurist that did my mom's manicure was patient. The pedicurist was nice and knowledgeable about her work. When I called, Lupa provided clear information and was welcoming. The instructor that came to explain the pedicure situation was also pleasant to talk to. Pros: 1. Their prices are fair. 2. Overall service is above average. There are cons to this business regarding payment and receipt: 1. The credit card processing fees are responsible to the business owners, not the customers. But this business is passing that fee to the customers. 2. Credit card processing fees average 1.5% - 3.5% per swipe. But this business is charging 30%. 3. Credit card processing fees apply, but the customer wasn't advised of such a charge. I didn't know until I checked the receipt. 4. The receipt wasn't clear how a regular manicure was added, but then a separate charge of gel polish was added on. Briefly looking at it, I thought I got charged with 2 manicures, one for a regular and the other was for gel. I paid for a gel manicure, but somehow forgot and asked for a regular polish for my mom. They gave a credit for the price of the gel polish on our next visit, which is fair. But, maybe keep it simple by labeling it as one service; gel manicure. Making it 2 services of regular manicure and gel polish is a little complicated. I would say they average out about a 4. But instructor Thao left me a very good impression. Let's raise it to a 5.

My manicure came with my gel stuck to my fingers and lots of cuts, bubbles in my nails, and even hair. The sanitization wasn't the best either, tools were continually dropped and continued to be used. I also noticed dirty gloves on clean surfaces. I'd come back to try other things but I'm a bit unsettled by my nails experience. I also came aware that I would be getting services by students, so I completely understand the learning curves. I think the teachers could've stepped in more and supported, guided, corrected, and maybe even shown or done the procedure partially to give more guidance.

Regardless of my daughter having her license, she was poorly taught, she would have to ask the teachers to be taught, myself, my husband and my daughter had to go in to talk to Sherry about her not being taught and Jume was a part of the conversation. Her teaching lasted 2 WEEKS! Then the teachers got lazy again and she would have to ASK to be taught. Her getting her license has nothing to do with the school but everything to do with me teaching her! Your comment really upset me, I get you're trying so hard to keep your Integrity, but it doesn't negate the fact that the teachers are lazy!

She said it didn't hurt and didn't leave scarring so she was happy. The facial was only $12. I got the oil treatment. It included hair wash, oil treatment, another hair wash and blow drying for only $6! Total time it took was 30 min or so. My cousin got her hair straightened using the Japanese system and she had shoulder length hair but even so, that took 5 hours. not kidding. They had to wash her hair 3 times and straighten it about 2 times. I love her hair now, its nice and smooth, only downside is that she can't get her hair wet for 3 days. =/ yuck. Hair straightening cost $40 for her hair. For longer hair it would be about $60. I think i'll come here again every month to get the oil treatment. It's such a good deal and left my hair smooth.

1 Star -- Really disappointing after 3+ years as a loyal customer…read more I honestly never thought I would be writing a review like this because I had been coming here for over three years. Unfortunately, one experience with the front desk completely changed how I feel about this place. About two weeks ago, I had another doctor's appointment that unexpectedly ran much longer than I anticipated. Because of that, I was told I shouldn't lie flat on my back for a few hours afterward. I called about four hours before my appointment because all I was asking for was to move my appointment to later that day or another day. I wasn't trying to cancel--I simply needed to reschedule. What really frustrated me was that the front desk employee told me there was no issue and that I could reschedule online. Instead, she went ahead and canceled my appointment, which was not what I asked for, and I was then charged a cancellation fee. I even contacted my bank, and they confirmed the charge had been manually entered. At that point, it wasn't even about the fee anymore. It was the way the entire situation was handled. After being a loyal customer for more than three years, I expected a little understanding and basic customer service. Instead, I felt like I was being judged for something that was completely out of my control. I want to be fair because most of the people here have always been nice to me, but unfortunately, this interaction left such a bad impression that I no longer feel comfortable continuing to come here. Three-plus years of loyalty shouldn't feel meaningless over one situation that could have been handled so much differently. I understand businesses have cancellation policies, and I respect that. But there is a big difference between enforcing a policy and making a long-time customer feel like they don't matter. I really wish this had been handled differently because I genuinely enjoyed coming here before this experience. It's unfortunate that one interaction at the front desk was enough to make me reconsider being a customer after all these years.
