This is a SUPER over due review. Amanda is my new go-to lash girl! I've been searching for YEARS & tried many different lash places around OC & LA area and hands down, Amanda is the best. 1. Time - 5 She's super fast. Doesn't take any longer than 1-1/2 Max to get a full set done. And an hour, maybe less, for fills. 2. Quality - 5 Her lashes are so light & airy, I forget that I have them. I have very straight Asian lashes so if the extensions weigh them down just a bit, I see them in my line of vision even if they're more curled. With Amanda's lashes that's not the case 3. Longevity - 5 My lashes last so long since I've switched to Amanda. I don't need to get a full until my 3rd week, and I could probably go longer, but I go on the 3rd week since you should get them touched up anyway. First of let me tell you great Amanda is. I went in to get my eyebrows microbladed and it was such a great experience. I told her what I wanted and what color and she helped me pick out the best possible shape and color. She has a two session deal (pricing may change so hit her up). The total appointment time took around 2 hours which includes drawing and measuring your brows and doing the colors. She puts numbing cream on so it doesn't hurt as much. Just feels like toothpicks scraping your eyebrows. Very manageable pain but my eyes kept tearing (involuntary). She's super sweet and makes you feel really comfortable. She lets you check your brows before she's actually finished to see what areas you want more strokes in. After it heals you see where you'll any more strokes but overall she's a very sweet woman and I recommend everyone to her. She's very precise and makes it to how you like it. Very affordable as well. She also offered eyelash extensions ranging from 75-100 which isn't bad at all! I'll leave another update after my second session! Update. I always get my eyelash extensions done by Amanda. She's super gently and I can barely feel when she touches my face. Beginning dulls et is 75 without tip. And 40 for refills! Definitely love how natural they look and I get the classic set. Amanda is super sweet, funny, and MOST IMPORTANTLY a very skilled beauty/lash technician. I have experienced a multitude of various lash extension studios, before and after her, and I always seem to keep coming back for Amanda!! I live in LA and drive to Cypress just to get lashes done by her because she is that good! Technicians at other places stack the lashes which really hurt the root of the lashes and you end up losing your actual lashes, and they also use very intense glue. Amanda's process is much different, plus, she knows how to proportionally shape the lashes to your personal eye shape. I always end up looking fabulous when I wake up from my nap (I woke up like disss). I never end up feeling like I have too much fullness to the point I look fake AF, or too little to the point of feeling like there is no difference-- she knows exactly how to accommodate to your taste as long as you communicate beforehand what kind of fullness you desire. Not only does she put on lashes wonderfully, when I am not sleeping during the session, she is also such a great... THERAPIST (Haha). She is super down to earth and fun to talk about life from happy to deep topics. Also, the bed is suuuuper comfy, so if you feel like not talking and just resting, you can also fall asleep super easily because the whole process is painless and Amanda is super delicate. If I can fall asleep and trust her with handling my eyelashes with tools next to my eyeballs-- that says a lot! She has grown from just a beauty technician into a friend! The location has ample free parking, and her studio is super clean and decorated so cute! She always has the best music playing to relieve and chill to during your pampering and best of all, you feel beautiful when it's all done! Amanda's amazing! I actually came across her work on Instagram, and I LOVED seeing her hybrid work. I came to get a mixed lash set right before a 3 week vacation, and the lashes held up for 3.5 weeks! She is very gentle and meticulous with her work. I'd say I still had a good amount of lashes when I came in for a fill. From there, I got a volume fill and am still loving them to this day! They're so lightweight and look very natural (even with volume). It literally feels like I don't have any on - that's how light they feel! She's also very personable and fun to talk to. Amanda is amazing! She's so gentle and very skilled. She's the first girl that has ever done eye lash extensions on me and I can only trust her. My lashes have never looked so beautiful! I naturally have long lashes to begin with but I always crave for more volume without mascara since mascara irritates my eyes. I've been getting lash extensions for over a year now. I've had really good experiences and horrifying ones. Amanda is the most gentle out of all of the lash artists I've encountered and the most efficient. She is really good at what she does! I get the volume set / refills from her and she never disappoints. She fills them in 1.5 hours or less--super impressive since she leaves no lash behind and it always looks SO good. She's also very accommodating to my schedule too which is nice since I work and live far from her studio (yes I drive an hour in LA traffic after an 8 hour work shift just to have her bless my lashes/brows--it's THAT worth it). She's also waxed my brows and let me tell you, they've never looked better! The arch she achieved with mine and the way she perfectly trimmed them was super satisfying since a lot of waxers usually can't seem to get it right--I won't let anyone else touch them from now on! Her prices are extremely fair ($110 for a full VOLUME set and $60 for 2 week refill) and she even has little ways to get discounts like referrals or leaving a Yelp review, too.
