I can care less leaving the house in pajamas, no make up, and messy hair, but I CANNOT leave the house without brows! I've always drawn in my brows( to the best of my ability) ever since I know how to apply make up. I had my eyebrows done by Vivian, and I couldn't be happier with the overall product as well as the experience. Vivian is very attentive to detail and your own taste. I personally like darker, thinner brows while she typically draws out very natural and soft brows. Her methods aim more to mimic natural brows while making them look fuller rather than a fake make-up look. However, I'm super into the fake make-up look. This review is for the Tattoo Remoov procedure: I had my eyebrows tattooed by a different artist, and I was super unhappy about how dark and uneven they are. I looked into options to have them lasered off, but there were so many horror stories about how the laser affects the color of the eyebrows, and also the scarring that can happen. I found Vivian after I started researching about how to remove my eyebrow tattoos a safer way than relying on laser removal. During my consultation, she was very honest and let me know that this procedure would be a process and my eyebrow tattoos most likely wouldn't be removed from one visit. I went through seven treatments. My eyebrow tattoos are not completely gone, however, they are much lighter, much less defined and look more natural than when I started this process. It's not completely painless- but it is tolerable. After Vivian goes over the eyebrow with one pass, it doesn't feel too bad, but the second pass can start to become uncomfortable. As far as the healing process- I would say it's very similar to when you get eyebrow tattoos. The eyebrows scab and within several days to a week, they shed. The skin under will be a bit pink. I'm sure this pinkness depends on your individual skin type- but for me, the skin under my eyebrows were slightly pink for about two weeks. After that, I was good to go. What I loved about working with Vivian is that she never pressured me. She never tried to sell me more sessions; she is all about listening to you and what you want/expect from this process. Love my brows!! I got the ombré powder brows done by Vivian in dec 2019 and touched up Jan 2020. She started with a consultation which she answered all my questions and educated me on the the steps of getting your brows done. My actual brow appointment to get the brows done was close to 3 hours! Which is because I spent a whole hour just shaping my brows, she made sure I was happy with them before we moved on! I asked for really light brows which she told me that it would fade faster but I wanted them to be more natural. She was super detailed with the procedure and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She uses the numbing spray to do the outline first which is a little painful but after that she puts on numbing cream for 10 min and I didn't feel much after. The first two days after the appointment my brows were deff sore and super dark but I didn't experience any oozing which Vivian said might occur. There was a little bit of swelling but you couldn't tell by looking at my brows. My fourth day was the only day I had any pealing. After that my brows slowly faded a little and by day 7-10 I think my brows were pretty much healed. The whole process went so smoothly and I didn't have any problems with the instructions Vivian gave. I went back after a month for a touch up and similar to the first procedure I had only one day of pealing. After two months I have to say this has really changed my make up time and I can't imagine not having my brows ready at all times now LOL. After months of following Vivian's work on social media, I decided to book an appointment with her. I had an initial consultation with Vivian, where she discussed about my bone structure and brow shape and what works best for me. She wanted to make sure I am 100% satisfied before applying the semi permanent make up. This whole process lasted about 20-30mins. Then comes the fun stuff! Vivian applied a numbing gel so I didn't feel much pain during the tattoo session! It felt like a tolerable pricking sensation the whole time. The application process lasted about 1.5 hours and went by really fast. Vivian sent me off with after care instructions and a small gift consisting of q-tips & petrolatum. I highly recommend Vivian for ombre brows. Her years of experience definitely show in her professionalism and high quality work. This was my first time getting permanent makeup and I was a bit hesitant. Thankfully, Vivian was responsive and helpful from the start. She gave me a rundown of the process prior to booking. During the first appointment, she talked with me in detail about the shaping, numbing, application, and care. She gave me the option to draw my own brows. When I decided for her to draw them, she asked me about my shape preference and checked in with me about the shape and color as they were drawn. The application took longer than I had expected, but I didn't mind since I was purchasing something that would be on my face for atleast a year. I think the whole first appointment was about 2 to 3 hours (I had lots of questions). A touch up appointment is even included in the cost. This is scheduled within 8-weeks after the initial application and was much shorter (I believe around 45 min). It was pouring rain when I went in, which was perfect to get lashes done, since I didn't want to go out to do anything. I searched online and found Brow Artistry Studio. Vivian was able to fit me into her schedule that morning. I had my fingers crossed that she would do a great job, as I knew nothing about her studio. It was tucked away in a strip mall and not visible from the street. The salon was in pristine condition inside. She meticulously took her time to apply the individual lashes. They turned out exactly as I wanted them. And two months later, they are still in tact and look great! I have never had lashes last so long without falling off.
