I'm pretty lazy/uninterested when it comes to makeup and skincare but as I've gotten older, it's become clear that I need to put in just a tad more effort (personal and professional reasons). Getting my eyebrows microbladed has to be one of the best decisions I have made in 2016. Eyebrows MAKE or BREAK your face!!! (at least mine) If I don't have eyebrows, I look like a completely different person. But when I draw them, they look so dark, I feel like I have to put on my entire makeup routine in order to balance out my fake eyebrows! I spent at least 15 minutes to draw, shape, and shade in my eyebrows alone and they would neeeever come out to be symmetrical. I do hear that eyebrows are not "twins" but "sisters", but when they end up looking different every single day, you shouldn't hesitate in getting them done. Jasmine is very meticulous and experienced so you can fully trust her work. She spends ample time in making sure your eyebrow shape is exactly how you want it. It's not a simple make up session. She spends a good chunk of your appointment time to draw and redraw different parts of your eyebrows to make sure they're symmetrical and in a shape that best complements your face. I have to start my review by saying that this is not my first experience with permanent makeup. I had both my eyebrows and eyeliner done about 5-7 years ago in Korea, but both have faded since then. After a nearly traumatizing experience with a botched eyebrow waxing, I began to consider getting permanent makeup done again. Although several people recommended different artists in the LA area, I did not want to make the drive to go out there for both my initial and touch up sessions. I began my search on Yelp, and was thrilled to find Ye/Jasmine. Her reviews were stellar, and the client photos made me believe that she would be able to help me fix my uneven, asymmetrical eyebrows. I called to schedule an appointment -- first impressions definitely matter, and I was pleased with how thorough she was even during that phone call. She was friendly and even asked if I would like for her to contact me if an earlier appointment time became available. Fast forward to last week for my appointment -- as other people have already mentioned, Jasmine's space is small but large enough for her 1:1 appointments. She is located on the second floor of the facility, and she only takes one person at a time. I was impressed by how she instantly noticed that the MUSCLES of my brows were uneven, which either causes them to look uneven when my eyes move or makes shaping them difficult (such as with waxing or threading). I filled out and signed my waiver/release form, and then the numbing cream was immediately applied. She waited for about 15 minutes, and then I moved to the chair where she began drawing in the shape. We probably went back and forth from the higher makeup chair (where she examines and draws the "sketch") and the lower chair (where she does the actual "tattooing" process) about 5-6 times. She is extremely meticulous, and even uses the camera on her phone to check symmetry. The entire process from arrival to departure was about an hour and a half. Since I had experience with permanent makeup before, I knew that it might sting a bit, but Jasmine was really thoughtful and gentle; anytime I felt pain, she would stop and reapply the numbing cream -- make sure you tell her if it hurts! I love my new brows! The shape is exactly what I had wanted, and although the color has faded over the course of the week, I'm excited for my touch-up. Jasmine told me that the color will come off, and that I shouldn't worry since people have different skin types that take the pigment differently. If anyone is looking for a professional, sanitary, and talented permanent makeup artist, you need to reach out to Jasmine. I have been going here for the last two years for my permanent makeup. I love being able to walk out of the house without makeup, or at least save a lot of time on days that I do put on makeup. I have gotten my eyeliner and eyebrows done here so far and it looks very natural. She does a good job on numbing so you feel as little pain as possible, and is always checking up to see if you're in pain during the process too. I got my eyeliner tattoo done here (and retouched) by Jasmine. I've gotta say, I was nervous at first because permanent makeup is, well, PERMANENT. I'm glad I pulled through with it though because the eyeliner tattoos came out great! They turned out very nice and simple - not too bold that it looks too strong when I go out with no makeup, but easy to add on to with more eyeliner (I add wings to the eyeliner shape) when I do wear makeup. it's been more than 2 weeks since my touch-up appointment with Jasmine, and 2 months since my initial (first time ever!) microblading. I have nothing but great things to say about the overall experience and treatment I received from Jasmine. The process itself was very minimally painful, and recovery time was swift. At first I thought it was too dar, and after my brows healed the first time, I felt like there was missing spots but only because everyone's skin heals differently. Mine did not retain some of the pigment in some areas from the first time around- but that's why she gives every one of her client free touch-up after 4-6 weeks! I recently got my eyebrows tatooed here 1 month ago, and I just came back for a touch up today. I'm very pleased with the result so I got my friend and sister do it too. This was my first time tattooing my eyebrows so I didn't know what to expect. When I first got my eyebrows done, it was quite dark, but after 1 week of healing, it looked really natural. No one knew that I got my eyebrows tattooed. She charged me $300 for eyebrows, but I think that's very reasonable since she did such a great job. I researched several places before deciding to go with Jasmine and I'm glad I did. I got my eyeliner tattooed by her- my double eyelids aren't the same size but she managed to draw the eyeliner perfectly (I can't even do that sometimes when I do my own makeup). Background story: Couple months ago, I bought a deal off Groupon for semi permanent eyeliner tattoo. I wanted to save money.. but that was the biggest mistake I could make, especially for a facial procedure. It was super painful, and the liner was very uneven.. After that, I was scared to get any more tattoo procedures done, because of how bad it was. Current experience: Two weeks after that, I contacted Jasmine, and asked her if she could help me fix the previous tattoo. She has been very accommodating in regards to my schedule when booking appointments. The overall experience with her was soo much better than I had expected!! Jasmine took her time listening to what I wanted, and explained how we could fix the previous tattoo. She was percise in drawing in the shape before beginning, and even asked me multiple times to ensure that I was satisfied with it. You can definitely tell that she's both highly skilled and passionate about her work. She really cares about how her clients feel.. because she never rushed anything, even when I arrived late to our appointments. She also gave the numbing cream enough time to properly numb the area before beginning. (which is huge deal, trust me!)
