I came at the end of the night so there wasn't that much selection. But it was the first time I tried pasta on pizza. They have everything you need. Pasta, pizza, garlic, knots, salad. They are open late night. The staff is pretty fast and knowledgeable. You can eat your food here or you can take it to go. Definitely local vibes. read more

Let's be real, this ain't no gourmet pizzeria. It's cheap and fast, which has its advantages. On top of that, I've discovered that some menu items are a bargain, while also tasting outrageously good. The best bang for your buck is from the calzones/rolls. You get a chicken roll for like, $6 or something, and it's huge. The calzone, also in the $5-6 range, blows my freaking mind. HUGE, and both times I ordered, they made it fresh, and it arrived hot and gooey and delicious. The crust has a perfect taste and texture, and the combo of mozzarella and ricotta is to die for. I add in some pepperoni just for that extra flavor. Splash on a little marinara sauce to suit your preferences. The regular pizza pie is definitely passable, and you'll probably be whether getting a slice or a full pie. I got a large buffalo chicken pizza last night and it hit the spot. Nice and doughy with a bit of crunch. The inside was (especially for the chicken roll) a great ratio of chicken, cheese, sauce, and breading. I would give this zero stars if possible. I just ordered a cheesesteak, a chicken parm, and garlic knots on seamless. The knots said they came with marinara sauce and the cheesesteak obviously said it came with cheese. Unfortunately, neither of these were the case. When I went to the shop to get cheese on my cheesesteak and marinara sauce for my knots, I immediately got the "this yuppie from Manhattan thinks he's too good for us" (a direct quotation) and some BS from the owner saying that the knots don't come with sauce. As I tried to explain that on Seamless, the menu said that sauce is included, the owner kept waving the menu in my face and his semi-toothless patrons kept heckling me, telling me to go to another pizza place, which I gladly would have done had anything been open today. Then the fat guy in sweatpants who was breathing on the pizza display bumped me with his belly and told me to touch him. Having no interest in putting my hands on his stained plumbing company t-shirt, I told him he was the one touching me and that he should move out of my way. With my newly cheesed sandwich, I was followed out the door by fat guy and his yellow-toothed friend as they threatened to punch me. Needless to say, I'll never be going back there again. They should seriously have advisories about pizza places that use sliced mushrooms so that Internet customers have full disclosure. The pizza was almost room temperature (morgue temp for pizzas). But hey, it was a miserable day out, so I chalked it up to the heroic journey of the delivery man. Alas, after a serious nuking, the cheese still wasn't stretchy and the ingredients had not become properly embedded. Most unforgivable, though, was the crust. It somehow managed to have that cardboard taste of cheap crusts. But at least cheapo crusts come apart easily. This crust had the resilience of a pitbull's chew toy, like grocery store Italian bread two days after purchase. "How is it?" I asked my friend, who is from California and lives in DC (what I'm getting at is that his expectations can be no higher than that of someone from Boston or New York). "Mmm, it's all right," he said. I knew was his polite was saying "This is total shit for the twenty bucks we shelled out." The morning after, there were a couple slices left. Reheated and chewed. Even tougher. I can't resist another analogy about this: how do you screw up pizza this much? It was like plain spaghetti in the elementary school cafeterias on the days it was clumpy and waxy and just plain awful. Even as a kid, you'd think, 'Now how the hell did they F that up? Possibly the worst customer service I've experienced anywhere in NYC. I ordered takeout -- I called two hours after I'd ordered, an hour after it was scheduled to arrive, and was told the driver had "just left" and I "really needed to be patient." I asked for an ETA, and received the incredibly short response of "Look, it's been a busy night, you're just gonna have to wait - the driver has 5 orders to deliver, he'll get there soon enough." I asked to cancel my order (I'd placed it at 10 pm; it was now midnight and I just wanted to go to bed) and wasn't allowed to do so. Ended up cancelling everything via Seamless. Really terrible service all the way around; would not recommend and absolutely won't order again. read more

They are on delivery.com, the delivery guy is polite, and the non-pizza items pleasantly live up to the pizza. You can order all of their toppings as half-pie or over the whole surface, too, which I think is a nice feature. The food arrived hot but the bottle of soda was still cold, even though I was probably the last delivery before closing! Those places are good and less than three blocks away. I got two plain slices and an order of garlic knots. The garlic knots were tough and flavorless.The slices had a thick, rubbery crust (not crunchy) and the sauce was pasty and thick. I was very unimpressed and would go to Luigi's or Lenny's on 5th Ave any day over this place. When I told them that his wasn't acceptable (they would have delivered my dinner at 11pm), I was asked "well what do you expect us to do??!!" I said I would like a refund. They had me call seamless to put through the refund- which I did, but then was charged for an additional pizza. I want to be refunded as I never received the pizza I ordered.
