I had this delivered and thought it was decent overall. I ordered the lobster chopped cheese just to try it--it was interesting and tasted a bit like a grilled cheese with lobster. I expected it to be much larger, but it was still a fun item to try. I also liked the plain mac and cheese on the side. The crab empanada was okay, though a little dry for my taste and slightly too salty. Aside from that, I'm glad I gave the place a try. The bowl with chicken, mashed potatoes, and broccoli was good. Ordered delivery for lunch again. This time I tried the Turkey Wing (singular) with mashed potatoes, collard greens and a side of sweet plantains. Everything was well seasoned and tasty. You can tell a lot about a place by how good the collard greens are, and these were excellent. The plantains were firm yet sweet. I would have liked the wing to be cooked more so that the fat was more rendered and the meat more easily pulled off the bone. It was actually a bit tough cutting it with plastic utensils. Otherwise, I enjoyed it. One thing I'll say about this place is you're not gonna get unseasoned food here! I also had a watermelon-lime drink that was a bit too sweet for me but once I added ice it was magnificent. Day 2, I bought wings again and mac and cheese. The second day's meal was better than day 1; Dont get me wrong both days the food was delicious and great but somehow day 2 tasted as if someone's Mama was in the kitchen making the food with pure love and affection. I live in Albany New York and saw a post on Instagram and then on TikTok 1 week later about this restaurant, so of course I drove to Brooklyn because i had to try it out. The food was completely inedible. I ordered the jumbo lump crab cakes that were actually 2 flat pancake looking fish cakes. EXTREMELY SALTY!!!
