So don't get me wrong. I love this place. The food is amazing. The pricing is got out of control. It's now $17 for an omelette after taxes. It's almost a 20 spot. Is there anybody doing anything to control food costs? This is unreal.

Brunch with mom. 20% off on Tuesdays for seniors

20% off Tuesdays for seniors! I recently went with my mom for our weekly brunch, and Broken Yolk delivered on every level. Not only did we enjoy a generous 20% Tuesday senior discount, but the service was warm and attentive. As someone who's been skipping carbs and leaning into healthier choices, I was thrilled to find cottage cheese on the menu--something most breakfast spots overlook. It's the little things that make a big difference, and Broken Yolk gets it right. From the cozy vibe to the thoughtful menu options, this place has officially earned a spot in our weekly rotation. Highly recommend for anyone seeking delicious food, great service, and a wellness-friendly brunch experience.

Placed an order for pickup. Spoke with Julie, very friendly. Ordered wild West Burger and fries. Burger was like home cooked, delicious. Also ordered a BLT and onion rings. BLT on sourdough was very good, the onion rings tasted like oil was not fresh and slightly mushy. Julie was taking phone orders and waiting tables, pleasant to everyone. Another worker delivered my order to me, very nice. Indoor and outdoor seating. Thank you Broken Yolk

Grubbin acai bowl. Hit the spot after a morning at the hospital. Their iced chai latte is one of my favorite drinks to get anywhere! I order it almost every time I visit.

We come here often and the food and service are always good. The ambiance is casual and friendly. Never have had any problems and love coming here. Perfect family restaurant.

Chicken & Waffle Benedict

We decided to try a new place and drove a little farther than we normally might. Unfortunately, our food was under seasoned and the avocado on the Wife's toast was really oxidized and just not looking that appealing. I went completely different and tried the chicken and waffle Benedict which was wasn't bad and would have been better with proper seasoning. The coffee is solid. The real standout is the staff. Super friendly, lots of hustle, and proactive problem solvers. Our server, took the Wife's toast off the bill, which we appreciated, as she agreed that it didn't look that great. The staff saved it, we will come back another morning and we hope that our under seasoned experience is a one off.

My friend 3 berry breakfast They slopped her meal together ...‍

I am not a fan of this location however, the waitress was awesome as the food is good. I enjoyed the Hawaiian French Toast with strawberries and cream and a side of bacon. My cup of coffee was a joke as they serve it in a mini kids cup when they really should've served it in the tea cups that are much bigger and fitting for coffee. Awkwarddddd!!! The mini kids cups just makes more work for waitresses, to have to keep filling the mini cups with coffee. My friend had toast with berries However, they failed to mention that she would only receive 3 teeny berries What a joke!!! Sheesh!!! My friend told our nice waitress, who adjusted the bill for her meal. Overall, if you live in the area, then "yes" eat here for the food and service. I personally won't return to this location as it's out of my way as well as, just wasn't my vibe. I love and prefer the location on camelback though. There's plenty of parking onsite at both locations. Prices are pricing everywhere, so at this point don't ask

Great food and presentation, great service and good for people watching. Just have a look at the pictures and you will be tempted to try it yourself. Portions are large enough to share.

They serve all-day breakfast, including Mexican dishes, plus sandwiches & burgers. I put our names on the waiting list, I hear this place gets busy and YES it does. We were greeted right away and seated right away. The booths are a little tight, we got it. Server greeted us but we already know what we want. I got the Chicken and waffle: Crispy fried all-white meat chicken tenders served on a Belgian waffle with powdered sugar, syrup drizzle and whipped butter.

Always a great experience. There might have been one thing that's a dislike... the app gives the option to put your name on the waitlist. Awesome, not! You can put your name on the waitlist but when you show up, your put at the bottom of the list. It happened to us and everyone that walked in after us was given the same wait time regardless of them doing it online or when they got there. Okay with that out of the way. BYC is a nice little cafe. They have some TVs playing whatever game is on. There is indoor or outdoor seating. Coffee was good, not watered down. Blood Mary was just right not too spicy. I love the crepes! That's the main reason I go! My son really liked the cinnamon pancake.

Croissant Breakfast Sandwich
Kurt C.

We didn't realize from looking at the online menu and reviews how much this placed would seem like a Denny's. The service and vibes were exactly like you sat down at one. I must have just ordered the wrong thing... my croissant sandwich was disgusting, just so much shredded cheese that wasn't even close to melted completely ruined the admittedly great aioli sauce and croissant. Hash browns weren't bad, but not enough to make this a positive experience. Their waffle was pretty good, but could only take a single bite of the turkey bacon and sausage because of its weird look.

What would you recommend I get since I'm having morning sickness but going here tomorrow with some family from out of town?

Hi Kimberlee. Gosh, that is a tough question! I'm sure you know that everybody's taste's vary, and then to factor in morning sickness takes it off the charts hard to answer. We have a very large menu, and the whole menu is available all day. We… Read more

I'd been meaning to try this location after seeing a few of my fellow Yelper friends review this place. Just like they said, this place did not disappoint! Serving up quality diner food with friendly service, classic hits, and blast from the past decor. What We Ordered: - Steak & Eggs: Under $20?! Count me in! Seasoned well and cooked perfectly to order for both the over easy eggs and medium rare steak. Breakfast perfection! - Patty Melt: My boyfriend said it was delicious, and the small bite I tried was great. You can tell they season their burger patties. Honestly, we both left very impressed as all the food was seasoned well and cooked beautifully. Who says diner food can't be done well?! Nana Dee's has set the standard for diner food!

Since 2016, this non-profit diner has been directly supporting homebound cancer patients through sponsored meals. The menu is deep, and the food is incredible! And honestly, I feel confident with all of their options. The place was packed and everyone looked satisfied. I ordered the chilaquiles which were a delightful offering of crispy tortilla chips covered in earthy red chili, topped with a velvety poached egg, on a bed of hearty pinto beans that had a hint of cumin, all which was drizzled with a rich crema and crumbled queso fresco. My dad had the Rueben and he said it was in his top-three he's ever had! Even during the Saturday brunch rush we were seated promptly, the kitchen was swift and our waitress was kindly attentive to our needs. We will definitely be adding this fine establishment to our short list, and can see why this is a community staple.

We finally decided to try the diner, and oh my goodness--this is no substandard food kitchen. This is top-notch food at reasonable prices and for a great cause. You can't go wrong! We arrived on a Sunday at their new location, which is super nice, VW bus and all. :) While relatively small, it is many times larger than their old location around the corner. You can sit inside at a table, at the bar, or at one of the few patio tables on a nice day. We sat inside for this first visit, and a friendly server took our order. We chose to order from the breakfast menu, and I ordered The Camper: Crispy double-dipped fried chicken thigh smothered in savory gravy and topped with cheese, three slices of Nueske's peppered bacon, and an over-easy egg, served on a housemade butter biscuit. My wife ordered the CSA Scramble: Farm-fresh veggies from Crooked Sky Farms CSA basket scrambled with three eggs, served with fruit, sliced tomato, and 9-grain toast. Needless to say, we were both impressed. The Camper was absolutely perfect. I would not change a thing. The gravy was just special, and there was so much food, I took some home. My wife's dish was fresh and perfect for what she was looking for. Do consider donating to this worthy cause. We chose to, and you can even donate right on your bill so that it goes right on your credit card if you so choose. But even if you just pay for your meal, you are helping out, which is so great about eating at this place. Do yourself a favor and stop in to see the friendly people at The Joy Bus Diner!

But I can judge simply food or filet a trout or chicken and add a homemade beurre blanc sauce. I like simple red wine but relish a Camus anniversary bottle. We eat at hole in the walls and expensive places. But often we look at each other and choose between Dennys or VI, and are happy! Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I told her I'd eat it. Truly don't like complaining let alone confrontation with a Russian native with a sharp attitude because of a rough life. My nephew is from there so I GET the trauma. and I though I know I can usually switch my palate. But not for this plate of food. I felt sick looking at it. "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Sad dinner and maybe she had a tough week too. But. But times 3 over.
