I recently went to Over Easy on Gilbert & Warner in Gilbert, AZ, for breakfast with my family. We sat outside and enjoyed the cool AZ breeze, which is basically Arizona's way of apologizing for the other 9 months of the year. We had been avoiding Over Easy for a number of years because of a few poor experiences in the past, but after browsing the menu online and seeing several options that fit our vegetarian lifestyle, we decided it was time to give it another shot. Breakfast burritos and French toast have a way of opening the door to forgiveness. When we arrived, there was a short wait, about 10 minutes. We were first seated inside, but our table was directly under the AC and it felt like we had been seated in the walk-in freezer, so we asked to move outside. That ended up being the right call. Our server, Abigail, was kind, attentive, and took good care of us. My wife and I both ordered the Breakfast Burrito with potatoes O'Brien and had them made enchilada style. When the food came out, there was a small mix-up with my wife's burrito. She had ordered green sauce, but it came out Christmas style instead. She decided to roll with it because we didn't want to wait for another one to be made. Sometimes marriage is compromise, and sometimes compromise is eating the unexpected red sauce. We also ordered the Brioche French Toast to share at the table, and it was delicious. Our little one had French toast and scrambled eggs, which she devoured, then casually moved on to the rest of our French toast like a tiny breakfast bandit. Honestly, that's probably the highest compliment the kitchen could receive. Overall, I was pleased with the visit. It was a solid 4-star experience, and I'm glad we gave Over Easy another chance. read more

This breakfast spot was okay overall--decent, but nothing that really stood out. The food tasted very much like typical diner food, which isn't bad, just not very memorable. The eggs had a strange butter flavor that tasted a bit artificial, which was disappointing. It took away from the meal for me. On the positive side, the inside was nice and clean, and the service was good and friendly. That definitely helped the experience. Overall, it's not bad if you're in the area and need a quick breakfast, but probably not somewhere I'd go out of my way for. read more

We ordered for delivery, a two egg Two Egg Breakfast and (3) Pancakes and a Regular Coffee. The coffee never showed up because OverEasy forgot to give the coffee to the doordasher. We also had an issue with almost receiving the wrong order because Ty from OverEasy gave the incorrect bag (it said UberEats on the bag, instead of DoorDash) to the doordasher. Then we called the restaurant and they tried to blame the doordasher for taking the wrong order instead of taking accountability. At OverEasy, the doordashers are always given the bag from the employees. I spoke to the manager, Delanie and she tried to blame the doordasher as well. So now I have to contact the BBB because OverEasy likes to blame DoorDash, instead of listening to their customers and fixing the mistake they made in house. I will NEVER go back or order OverEasy again. I hope they do a better job or they will definitely have more complaints in the future. read more

Food, drinks and service were all great! I had the BLT and the pesto made it over the top delicious - toasted sourdough was chefs kiss! The others had chicken and waffles and biscuits and gravy and licked the plates clean. I had the breakfast cocktail with tequila and grapefruit (forgot the name) and it was yummy, husband had spicy bloody Mary and it was also good. They have an industrial sized orange juicer that you just toss oranges in - so cool! The restaurant had a great vibe, busy but not overwhelming or loud like some brunch spots ;) read more

We were here late morning on a weekday. Over Easy is a chain restaurant. We chose the one that was closest to our hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated. The place has a cheerful ambiance with lots of sunlight coming in. The seats were reminiscent of ones seen back in the 50s with yellow plastic cushions and backs. A yellow neon sign on the wall said "Good Morning Sunshine". To drink, I had a lemonade while my husband ordered a glass of tomato juice plus a cup of coffee. We both ordered the same breakfast the "2 egg breakfast". It consists of: "2 eggs any style, choice of potatoes and choice of meat plus choice of toast". My breakfast was 2 over easy (how appropriate :D) fried eggs, bacon, hash brown potatoes and sourdough bread". The bread comes with butter and strawberry jam. My husband's breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon and O'Brien potatoes. He, too, got sourdough bread. Overall, we both enjoyed our breakfasts, although my husband was underwhelmed by the potatoes O'Brien as he thought they were on the dried out side. My hash browns were properly cooked---crusty on top but soft in the middle. Service was excellent and the kitchen had the food ready in a timely fashion. We love Over Easy. We had the build your own Omelette and the Coen Beef and Hash. The Tater Tots are and awesome choice to pair with the Omelette. If you're getting the Corn Beef add hollandaise sauce. The service was awesome. We arrived here at 12 o'clock on a Sunday and were seated immediately for three. I really like the decor, the chairs are comfortable and they give like 1970s vibes. Who doesn't love yellow. read more

A delicious breakfast and brunch spot! Came on a week day and had no wait at all. The service from both the host and our waitress was excellent! It's not a very large seating area inside compared to other locations so I would plan accordingly. The food we ordered was very good! First time trying their Biscuits & Gravy and was impressed. They were delicious, plus eggs and potatoes of your liking, it was overall great! The Breakfast Tacos are stuffed full - definitely get your money's worth with them. They have a good kids menu too - the pancake is definitely large enough to share FYI! They do have an 'As Seen on TV' section of their menu from everything that Guy Fieri tried on Triple D. I will say, I feel like they are pricy for the amount of food given. I was kind of disappointed, especially when sweet potato hash was promised and it literally looked like a quarter cup. The food was good, but not anything outstanding. I wish they had more gluten free options. Our server was fantastic. I will say she was very thorough and helpful and the food came out quickly. The restaurant itself was clean, however the bathroom was not. In general, I'd say the experience was meh. read more

We were so glad to find a new brunch spot out in Chandler/Gilbert! We didnt have to wait at all on a Saturday morning at like 9 am. I wish I would have gotten her name but our server was awesome, which i always extra appreciate nowadays. The mimosa flight was so worth the $18, my husband and I probably could have just had 1 each and been good. Love us a dog friendly patio and the food was great! Absolutely no complaints there. Over Easy Gilbert breakfast is egg-cellent! I've visited twice now and both times had a wonderful experience. The space is bright and inviting. Love the fun pops of yellow throughout. Service is on point. My go-to is the avocado benedict. It comes with two eggs over easy on avocado split halves topped with pico de gallo and feta, hollandaise sauce on the side as well as fresh fruit. I usually add a side of two eggs for extra protein, and because I just love eggs! The ingredients are fresh. I really enjoy this fun twist on the classic. I've also tried a few other items; a pancake, a burrito, etc and they've all been delicious. read more

Their patio is pet friendly and love bringing our dog. My husband and I are ones that like to eat early and when we come there is never a wait. My family and I ate here yesterday morning and we all loved it. I ordered a two egg meal which comes with hot choice of potatoes and meat. Our table also ordered chicken fried chicken, avocado Benedict, and breakfast tacos. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I stopped here with a friend for breakfast on Sunday. Only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table even though the restaurant was crowded. Restaurant was clean the staff was friendly. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was very good, the eggs were cooked perfectly and it was delicious. My friend ordered the two egg breakfast and couldn'tt complain at all. It looked very good and he seemed to enjoy it. The prices were average for breakfast and the portions were a good size. I had been to this restaurant years ago but had forgotten why I didn't go again. Today, I remember. I ordered a really simple breakfast. 2 eggs, toast, hash browns and bacon. It wasn't good. The eggs were cooked nicely, but lacked flavor. The toast was burnt (black) and the hash browns were hard. The bacon was barely cooked in the middle while the ends were more cooked. I won't be going back again. The food just isn't that good. The atmosphere is lacking. The prices were average. Service was really good. read more

We just had an excellent breakfast at this recently remodeled Over Easy location. The restaurant is great and our breakfast was very flavorful, Avocado Toast and Breakfast Burrito. What made our dining experience the best was the superb service we received from our server! Delaney was very helpful, super friendly, made sure our meals arrived hot and fresh. Delaney checked back often to ensure we were enjoying our breakfast and I had plenty of coffee, even offering to-go cup when we left. We look forward to our next visit so I can try the Waffle Dog with maple syrup and hot sauce. read more

Over Easy is a really good breakfast place to go to. I am very satisfied. The wait time to get a table was quick. I came in with 3 people and we only had to wait for around 5 minutes which was good. The menu has so many good options, it really took us a while to pick just one. I got the Chicken and Waffle, my girlfriend got the Avocado and Toast, and my little sister got the One Egg, Tater tots, and Bacon from the kid's menu. The wait time for the food was somewhat noticeable but my little sister got those small wax bits to play with so it kept her occupied so that does put us at ease and I'm sure it would do the same for parents. The food was well worth the wait however. The chicken and waffles were really delicious to the point that I stopped caring about the wait time. I would give this place 5 stars, however there were some small issue that made me not want to give this place a perfect score. There was some food residue inside my girlfriend's napkin when she opened it. So that bummed made her a little uncomfortable. Other than that, with great food and great wait time. The wait was promised for 40-minutes but honestly was about 30-minutes. Over Easy is a love child between Snooze A.M. Eatery and a 5-star resort staff. We were greeted by Scott with the friendliest and chillest demeanor. The decor was pleasantly bright, the atmosphere was comfortable. I ordered the Loko Moko as I was feeling the island of Oahu here. This was our 10th visit to this location. The last time we ate on their patio because it was so cold inside. Unfortunately their patio faces Warner so you get all the traffic noise and occasional fumes. This visit we still found the inside cold but tolerable but we had to wait for someone to come to the hostess station before we could be seated. It was around 9:00 AM and there were perhaps 8-10 people there. We elected to sit in the back just in front of the divider where the waitstaff congregated ( that is an operative word here) Once seated we were greeted promptly asked for our drink orders which arrived promptly. We were asked if we were ready to order, but asked for a minute or two. That was about 10 minutes. We eventually placed our orders and waited and waited. When our food arrived it looked great. My wife found one piece of brioche French toast was cold such that she imagined it had been frozen and simply reheated. My pancakes were generously sized, were quite hot but were tough to cut. The supplied syrup was thin and flavorless and poured like water. The two over easy eggs I ordered had been cooked on an over hot grill, the edges were like rubber, after removing the over cooked edges I slid them onto the pancakes when I set the plate down I later found a ring on the table from whatever they were cooked in. The only really great food item was the 2 sausage links that accompanied her meal. Because we were seated in front of the divider where the waitstaff congregated, and save for one female server who appeared frequently attending to her tables. The remainder of the staff stayed behind the divider and chatted and chatted. While we were eating one customer in a wheelchair rolled himself into the waitstaff area to request something he wanted but had to go find the server since the server hadn't checked on their customer. As guests left one of the staff shouted out all the way across the restaurant to thank them for coming. At one point our server stopped and asked my wife if she was finished and then removed her plates it was a good 10 minutes before she returned for my plates and a bit of time before returning for us to pay. We often seek out Over Easy restaurants when out and about, we probably will still do that but not this location. BTW as we were leaving one of the male waitstaff was at the hostess station and since he had a long sleeved shirt on my wife asked him if he was the manager? No the shirt was a requirement for male waitstaff, it was unusual because it had western style pearl buttons. She thought he might be management but wasn't. We thought it was a bit much. read more

It was missing avocado and the server took about 15 min to return with it. Ordered a pancake for my child ($5) an orange juice ($6) and a side of fruit ($5) This place is WAY over priced for what you get and minimal flavor . The presentation is terrible too.
