The incorrect order that was given to the Doordasher.
    Daniel M.

We ordered for delivery, a two egg Two Egg Breakfast and (3) Pancakes and a Regular Coffee. The coffee never showed up because OverEasy forgot to give the coffee to the doordasher. We also had an issue with almost receiving the wrong order because Ty from OverEasy gave the incorrect bag (it said UberEats on the bag, instead of DoorDash) to the doordasher. Then we called the restaurant and they tried to blame the doordasher for taking the wrong order instead of taking accountability. At OverEasy, the doordashers are always given the bag from the employees. I spoke to the manager, Delanie and she tried to blame the doordasher as well. So now I have to contact the BBB because OverEasy likes to blame DoorDash, instead of listening to their customers and fixing the mistake they made in house. I will NEVER go back or order OverEasy again. I hope they do a better job or they will definitely have more complaints in the future.

We were here late morning on a weekday. Over Easy is a chain restaurant. We chose the one that was closest to our hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated. The place has a cheerful ambiance with lots of sunlight coming in. The seats were reminiscent of ones seen back in the 50s with yellow plastic cushions and backs. A yellow neon sign on the wall said "Good Morning Sunshine". To drink, I had a lemonade while my husband ordered a glass of tomato juice plus a cup of coffee. We both ordered the same breakfast the "2 egg breakfast". It consists of: "2 eggs any style, choice of potatoes and choice of meat plus choice of toast". My breakfast was 2 over easy (how appropriate :D) fried eggs, bacon, hash brown potatoes and sourdough bread". The bread comes with butter and strawberry jam. My husband's breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon and O'Brien potatoes. He, too, got sourdough bread. Overall, we both enjoyed our breakfasts, although my husband was underwhelmed by the potatoes O'Brien as he thought they were on the dried out side. My hash browns were properly cooked---crusty on top but soft in the middle. Service was excellent and the kitchen had the food ready in a timely fashion. Definitely, we will stop in again next time we're in town!

A mimosa flight and biscuits and gravy for breakfast.

We didn't have to wait long for a seat even though it was a busy Sunday morning. The service was great and the food was delicious. I want to go back to try more of the menu. I highly recommend the mimosa flight.

We love Over Easy. We had the build your own Omelette and the Coen Beef and Hash. The Tater Tots are and awesome choice to pair with the Omelette. If you're getting the Corn Beef add hollandaise sauce. The service was awesome. We arrived here at 12 o'clock on a Sunday and were seated immediately for three. I really like the decor, the chairs are comfortable and they give like 1970s vibes. Who doesn't love yellow.

A delicious breakfast and brunch spot! Came on a week day and had no wait at all. The service from both the host and our waitress was excellent! It's not a very large seating area inside compared to other locations so I would plan accordingly. The food we ordered was very good! First time trying their Biscuits & Gravy and was impressed. They were delicious, plus eggs and potatoes of your liking, it was overall great! The Breakfast Tacos are stuffed full - definitely get your money's worth with them. They have a good kids menu too - the pancake is definitely large enough to share FYI! They do have an 'As Seen on TV' section of their menu from everything that Guy Fieri tried on Triple D. Very cool!

Over Easy Gilbert breakfast is egg-cellent! I've visited twice now and both times had a wonderful experience. The space is bright and inviting. Love the fun pops of yellow throughout. Service is on point. My go-to is the avocado benedict. It comes with two eggs over easy on avocado split halves topped with pico de gallo and feta, hollandaise sauce on the side as well as fresh fruit. I usually add a side of two eggs for extra protein, and because I just love eggs! The ingredients are fresh. I really enjoy this fun twist on the classic. I've also tried a few other items; a pancake, a burrito, etc and they've all been delicious.

I will say, I feel like they are pricy for the amount of food given. I was kind of disappointed, especially when sweet potato hash was promised and it literally looked like a quarter cup. The food was good, but not anything outstanding. I wish they had more gluten free options. Our server was fantastic. I will say she was very thorough and helpful and the food came out quickly. The restaurant itself was clean, however the bathroom was not. In general, I'd say the experience was meh.

They were fluffy, smokin' hot, and beautifully plated. These pancakes are huge too. The plate of pancakes come as a stack of 3. When I got there and ordered, I told the waitress about my intolerance and ordered a salad with chicken. When my food came out, I was told my salad didn't have chicken because I couldn't eat the chicken, or any other meat in the restaurant, because they coat it in Pam spray (soybean oil). For a place that prides itself on making their own dressings, etc., you'd think they could've figured out how to cook chicken in an oil that they use for everything else. Perhaps if they'd communicated better about my intolerance instead of not thinking about it until immediately when my food was ready (which was quite a while after we ordered), they could've found someone in the restaurant who was capable of making non-vegetarian food with something other than soy spray, but I may be giving them too much credit. They also didn't offer us a high chair for our toddler, which was strange. He wound up doing fine in the booth, which was for the best because a high chair probably wouldn't have fit well where we were sitting anyway. The waitress was apologetic and nice about my food screw up and offered to make me something else, but there wasn't much that could be done given that apparently no one in the restaurant knows how to cook meat without soy spray, plus we'd already waited quite a while for our food. The beet salad was tasty, as was the bread with honey butter and the Chai latte, but I would've left feeling more full if I could've added meat to my salad.

We are now regulars here and they have reached…read morethat stage of knowing our names, our habits, and most importantly, how to take care of their regulars. If you establish a presence here, they will take care of you. Consistency is another major selling point. Go here 10 times, and your food is going to be on point about 9.5 of those times. Those are pretty good odds. They have just recently started a soft launch of their fall/winter menu, which means they are experimenting with a few new dishes while bringing back some old favorites. One of those returning favorites is the crispy cauliflower. Last time around, it was fantastic. This time, while still tasty, it had apparently filed a formal complaint against the word **"crispy"** because there was very little evidence to support the claim. Even the bartender agreed with me that it was somewhat misrepresented. **Pro tip:** Get the sauce on the side. It will help preserve what level of crisp that is intended for this dish. Now, let us move on to the **star of the evening.** The new chicken parmigiana! **Holy mother of God. Butter my butt and call me a biscuit.** This may genuinely be one of the most beautiful, perfectly textured, and downright delicious chicken parmigianas I have ever had. The chicken was crisped to absolute perfection, and the way they layered the marinara on top was brilliant. Rather than drowning the chicken in a traditional, liquidy sauce, they used more of a bruschetta-style topping, which gave it texture while somehow allowing the breading to remain gloriously crispy. **Hands down, one of the best chicken parmigianas I have ever had.** Now we just need to pray to whatever culinary deity is responsible for consistency that they can replicate this thing every time, because this one was *ridiculously* good. One final recommendation: **split the dish.** Unless you are the kind of person who considers a family-size portion a light snack, there is plenty of food here for two.

But, my wife had fries that I could steal and I appreciate having a salad option. The little side salad had a nice bitterness complemented by the slight sourness of the dressing. The meat was flavorful and sliced perfectly while the bread was toasty enough to stay together long enough to hold in all that juiciness. Our server was attentive and friendly and I'll happily go back to try some menu staples ... unless the next special demands my attention like that Reuben did.

Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. My only real criticism is that the menu felt a bit limited, especially for vegetarians. There weren't many vegetarian options available, which could make it difficult for some people to find something that appeals to them. That said, the food was great, the service was excellent, the pricing was fair, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. I would definitely return the next time I'm in Arizona.

My son had ordered food from here as takeout last year. The food taste was interesting, though, I really like the cheese dip for the pretzel bites. The bites were pretty big. Lots of tables at this location, a bit warm. But our party of 14 was easily accommodated. Our daughter chose this place and it was quite loud. My husband and I are quiet people, so if we were to choose again, probably not here because of the loudness and all the TVs all over the place. But for those who like it loud, TVs and do not mind the prices on the menu, have at it. I don't remember our server's name. If she told us, I couldn't hear what she said. She was alright. Honestly, I had a hard time hearing even my son who sat next to me, and hearing my sister who sat one seat over in front of me, I couldn't hear what she was saying. Loudness is an issue for me and I do not have hearing issues. Our bill with tip came to over $700+. That was the most expensive lunch we've ever spent for our party of 14. Typically we're in the $400-500 range. But it was a special occasion. My husband and son got the 36 hr ribs. My husband really loved them. My son said it was okay. I didn't ask my brother and BIL who also got the same dish. I know my BIL was unhappy that he didn't get the side he requested and when they gave it to him (asparagus, I think), it was cold and he wasn't pleased about this. I got the hub burger and it was okay. There was a lot on the burger, but the patty itself, didn't have that much flavor. Some of the "Starters" or appetizers things were salted too much, but the burger did not taste like it had any salt. I had eaten too many starters so when my food came, I wasn't very hungry and took most of it home and ate for dinner another night. My husband and son do not like coleslaw and I ate theirs. THIS I really liked and tasted much better than KFC. I loved the sweetness and that the cabbage was shredded bigger than KFC. The pretzel bites were good. We got wings, and they were so-so. The roasted brussel sprouts were too salty. The deviled eggs were okay, but pricey for 2.5 eggs, which I do pay at Trader Joe's for organic free range pasturized eggs I could've gotten over 2 dozens. But, yes, I pay for the service and ambiance. I really thought there would be more than 5 halves for the deviled eggs. We got the nachos and they were okay. The melted cheese sauce was the best part. My mom got the fish and chips and she seemed to pick at it. She didn't want to take home, so it must not have been that good because she almost always takes a doggy bag home. My sister had the salmon and it was in a huge bowl and didn't look to be that much food. It was pricey. One of my SILs got something I didn't recognize and she said it was okay. No one I could tell was over the moon with the taste of the food and I heard the word "interesting" quite a bit. It's not that it tasted bad, but it didn't really taste good good. You know what I mean? I did bring a special order cake I got at Nothing Bundt Cakes in Gilbert. I asked Culinary Dropout if we could borrow a cake cutter. They didn't have one. Weird. This was a Red Velvet cake and this was absolutely divine. It was moist. The frosting was some sort of yummy cream cheese frosting. The cake was perfectly sized for our party of 14. The cake was the best part of our meal and it didn't come from Culinary Dropout. I would pay this much for a meal at Roy's for lunch for this sized party, but alas, all the Roy's in the valley are closed down. So sad. I'm not saying this place is bad or the food tastes bad. It's okay and pricey. If the food was great or amazing, we don't mind pricey. We have paid over $1K for meals for our big party, and happily do so when the food is equivalent to the price.
