2nd time back, looking forward to the menu. Was greeted at the bar by Morton and he provided us out drinks and menu. Conor came by to take our order, my b Husband ordered the Brisket Sandwich, Conor encouraged the fries, husband agreed and Conor then walks off. We waited a couple of minutes for him to come back so when Melissa came by I asked if I could order from her, and she promptly put my order in to come out with husbands. Food was really tasty. The brisket sandwich was properly seasoned and appropriately wet from the juices of the brisket, highly recommend. The Crunchy sushi was fresh and cold, the sauces added just the right moisture. Morton helped with another round and eventually Conor popped back around when he noticed we were packed and ready to go. Husband tipped Morgan and I tipped Melissa. First time here and won't be returning. Sign said seat yourself and wait staff will be with you shortly. We waited for 15 minutes and no one came to our table. My friend walked to the bar to order us drinks and the bartender said something like "you know we have waitstaff that comes to your table..." My friend informed bartender that we knew that but no one ever came to talk to us. When she ordered my drink for me, the bartender made our waitress come to the table to ID me. The only other time she came to our table was when I physically flagged her down to ask for another round. Otherwise we watched as she served the people around us but seemed to ignore our table the entire time and spent most of the time at the bar talking to another waiter. She never came to our table to deliver a check so we once again went to the bar to close out. My friend tipped 3 dollars because she felt bad for the bartender that helped us but I truly wish she had tipped nothing. Extremely disappointing and weird experience. read more

Stopped in to try this "restaurant " a few weeks back. I would recommend if you're in the market for Drinks and Apps, but for an actual meal, go somewhere else. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While we were there they were speed dating, so it was extremely loud and busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was slow, servers could stand to check back occasionally for more drinks etc. Ketchup was in small packets like a fast food pace. if you do go, try the bacon wrapped Jalapeños- good with a beer. read more

Fun stop before hitting the grocery store. Service was friendly, but could have been a bit more attentive. Space was clean. Bloody mary was delicious. I also ordered a Margarita pizza. Very good! This place is fantastic! It's cheap, convenient, and really accessible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar itself is set atop the Broadway and Beacon Albertsons, and is kind of hidden.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've been a regular for many years as it is very close to my house. The drinks (off menu typically) are good and the prices are very competitive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'd recommend going in on a weekday besides Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. They book entertainment like amateur bands whose volume is insufferable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bands will make you move to the patio where you can hear them just as well if not better[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unless you're into trivia, it kinda does the same thing. Be prepared for some off the wall entertainment![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I enjoy the happy hour deal which a dollar off everything and the food is very reasonably priced. My other enjoyment comes from the bar manager, Lisa. She's been there since the bar opened (like me). She's very helpful but also lets me in on the happenings of the bar. If someone gets fired or someone calls in sick, she is sure to let everyone and anyone know why, throughout the bar top. I've heard of employees drinking on shift, not showing up, having medical conditions, or just being fired for other reasons which is always spicy! It always makes it interesting. She is also pretty up front with who is or isn't doing well on her staff and will sometimes even admonish them in front of customers. I don't know, but I like it. It's like watching a dramatic television series sometimes, like the movie "Waiting." Should you go in, be sure to try their Lavender Collins or the Strawberry Mojito. Broadway on the Rocks is upstairs from the food court of the Albertson's on the main floor. You can get some food from the food court and come up to the restaurant and add a beer or drink and have a nice meal. They also have a nice menu of items, and yes, they basically send the order downstairs, but it's convenient if you want a restaurant feel vs. just a "place to sit". That was my attitude on this visit and I was pleasantly surprised that it did indeed feel "restauranty" - nice menu, good beer, and so on. The menu had a nice variety of items (well, heck, food court downstairs with multiple cooking areas) and the beer/alcohol selection was nice. They had a brisket pizza on special for the day, so I got that and a beer. I misread the size of the pizza, and for the price thought it was a personal type pizza, but no, it was a bit large for someone who doesn't tend to eat a lot at the meal - leftovers! The service was nice, and the conversation with the server about the restaurant (this was my first visit) was educational. read more

Pulled into Albertsons just buying stuff for dinner, when the smell of their smoked bbq literally grabbed me by the the nose bringing me upstairs to the restaurant. the staff was electric, our server Kal was absolutely the best! Broadway on the Rocks is located on the second floor of Albertsons Marketplace and is within walking distance of the Boise State Albertsons football stadium. Great happy hour with $1 off cocktails! Great priced food and drinks! You can buy any food from the main store and bring it up here to enjoy! Some of my favorite things to grab from downstairs and bring up to Broadway on the Rocks are their: sushi, big kahuna poke bowl (w/ no pineapple for me), fried chicken / chicken wings, pesto and Brie sandwich, and pizza! This is a great lunch spot because you can bring anything from the grocery store up and get free water with your meal! I'm giving this spot 5 stars because Albertsons is a local Idaho company and the renovations to this once dingy grocery store is amazing, the prices for food and drinks are decently cheap, and the staff here are always friendly and attentive. There's an outside patio with a huge screen, perfect for game days! They also have scheduled live music up here too! Broadway on the Rocks and the Albertsons marketplace is an experience so unique to Idaho! read more

this is my first time being a Broadway on the rocks and I came with my roommate and close friends and sister and we had a wonderful time. The band was incredible! They were called DMG! And they gave us maracas to see during their song! Afterwards they even gave us cake! We love it here. Great atmosphere! We will be back! Amazing service from our waiter named Jaydan! read more

This place is amazing the bloody Mary's are amazing. The custom ones are so good. Definitely recommend making your own bloody.
