A nice old fashioned diner with a big menu. We had a pita dip thing as an apitizers. It was good and a bit original. I have not seen anything like it. Es loved it. She also had a salmon burger with Greek poutine on the side. These she said were ok but she had to take most of ot home as she filled up on the pita dip apitizer. I had a traditional cheese burger and fries. All as expected there. Combined with the hasslefree parking this is a good spot for a quick lunch. Not a cool as the places across the road in the town, but it filled us up well. read more

This place serves some solid diner food. I ordered a grill cheese sandwich with a side of chicken rice soup. The sandwich was very good. It was slathered in butter and medium cheddar. I personally prefer sharp cheddar but that is when I make my own. The soup was too salty. Either it has been cooking all day or it is day old soup where all the water evaporated. I have a high salt tolerance, but this left my tongue tingling with each sip. My date tried it and agreed. Service is fast. Restrooms is connected conveniently next to the Petro Canada gas station. Prices are expected for these touristy places. My cheese sandwich and soup combo came to $11.95 plus tax and tip. read more

I give three stars because honestly, their food is like home-cooked!!! Just like Dad would make (not quite mom;). I'm deducting 2-stars due to their waitstaff. To the waitress that was RUDE to my sweet Mom, and I cannot believe you TRIED to rip her off. This tells me what your core character is, and it's bad news!! My Mom asked the waitress at the cash register if she could give us change for a twenty USD, receiving CAD wouldn't be a problem. The fact that she only gave my Mom 20 CAD is!! That is a loss of $6.23 (approx). My Mom wasn't going to say anything, I told her to please ask for my money back. My Mom, who is super sweet did and the female said "what, you thought I'd give you American money". No lady, we thought you wouldn't rip us off!! Just be glad my Mom waited until we were in the vehicle driving off or I'd have come in and spoke with you. Instead, the "lady" gets to continue in her mean ways! SAD!! read more

I don't know what happened, but we used to LOVE coming here. It was delicious home-style food, at a great price. The last few trips out to Jasper though, we ate here, and each time it was worse than the last time. Seems the food quality just wasn't what it used to be. Unfortunately, the very last time I got pretty sick so we won't be back. read more

We were staying in Jasper and this was one of the few restaurants that was open early in the morning. The food was good and the Staff attentive. As we were leaving my husband struck up a conversation with the owner, Voula, and they talked about being small business owners. Amazing place! My dad and I go out of our way to eat here! He enjoys the shrimp salad and I enjoy the mushroom bacon deluxe burger! Not only are the meals filling but so amazingly delicious! Amazing customer service as well! Always making sure we are ok and happy! Poor service. Really unsure what went wrong here. We sat down at almost the same time as several other guests. Ordered around the same time, too. Several minutes pass and every table has their food. The waitress has not checked in since she took our order 40+ minutes before. Most tables are finishing their meals by now. We decide to check in with the waitstaff - they say it's coming out right now. We wait around for 5 more minutes and decide we've had enough. We politely tell the waitress we are going elsewhere and we are tired of waiting, to which she replies, "um okay, you haven't been here that long, but whatever." I really want to believe it isn't like this most days. The restaurant had quite a few people dining in, and she was the only waitress, so I get being busy and being slammed. But come on, you've got to be a least somewhat considerate of all your guests. I can deal with slow service as long as it's accompanied by some courtesy. read more

This was a great place for breakfast. Attached to the petrol-Canada gas station as you first drive into the town of Jasper I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the steak and eggs with potatoes. It had such great flavor and wasn't greasy at all. Only suggestion I have is bigger coffee mugs, everything else was spot on!!! read more

Bland food. Ordered breakfast and Kids chicken fingers. Chicken fingers were over done like little bricks. Butter tasted stale on the toast. They had no interest in discounting the poor quality of food. They did offer a different choice.. but who wants to wait for more disappointing food. read more

Used to eat here as a kid and decided to give them a try as an adult. FOOD POISONED!!! When I called to just let them know he completely disregarded this fact, being as I have been throwing up the calamari for 24 hours now and didn't eat any place else the whole day. I do NOT get sick and this is bs! Least they could have done was rectify the situation and given me a refund for the meal but nope. The driver on a tour we took recommended Bright Spot for breakfast. So as a local we took his word for it. I had the aces breakfast... eggs, one pancake, and I choose sausage. Overall my meal was good. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the pancake was fluffy and big, the only complaint were the sausages were very bland. My wife had the french toast with strawberry topping. Her meal on the other hand was not very good. The French toast tasted like fried eggs... and yeah that's what they are you're thinking. but I will have to say that every time I've made french toast it doesn't taste like fried eggs, it tastes like french toast lol. So maybe it was the grill, I don't know. The strawberry topping also wasn't very good, it has the distinct tin canned taste. And I'm not expecting fresh strawberries in Jasper in the winter but you can at least buy some higher quality preserves if you're charging me extra for the topping. Overall the restaurant is (at best) average. But I think our drivers recommendation may have be influenced by the above average looking waitresses. read more
