Everything was perfect. We were sat and greeted right away. Our server was very sweet and prompt. I started with the side Mediterranean salad (which is huge) so my partner and I ended up splitting it. I had the haddock which was excellent, the bacon in the crumb was subtle but flavorful. My guy had a chicken pasta dish (can't remember the name) but it had spinach, ricotta and sausage. I had a bite and it was fantastic. He really enjoyed it. I don't drink but he had a couple of cocktails which he said we're good. Overall a great dining experience. We will be back! read more

First time visiting this restaurant. The coffee was bitter, like it had been sitting there for hours. The martini was good but served in a glass that had lipstick on it. The Rigatoni Bolognese was bland and more expensive then the chicken and broccoli dish my husband had . And, while we were eating our dinners the waitress asked if we had a Lexus that was hit in the parking lot. We can cross that one off the list! read more

Have been there twice, both times it was a very solid experience. The wait staff was super accommodating and attentive. My wife had the Chicken Parm which was a very good size portion while I had Steak Tips. The Chicken was tasty, tender and the sauce was scratch made. The tips were all very tender, cooked to order and a good size. Good selection of beer and mixed drinks, nicely laid out dining area with a small bar. The only thing I would say which is more a personal preference is the seating is a bit tight but it is not a huge space so I think they are just making the most of what they have. We found this place a few years ago before we even lived in town and would drive out of the city on Friday nights to eat here! Such a refreshing menu and good, quality ingredients. And a chef who knows what they're doing! Now we live in town and order take out every other week or so. So glad they've stayed open during COVID and offer a great take out service. Went to Brickstone for the first time today, staff was really friendly and helpful. Lots of options on the menu from casual apps, burgers, salads to entrees. The best part was the Delicious homemade peanut butter pie which has a decadent chocolate mousse topping! I look forward to stopping by again! read more

Adorable place! Had a pretty great menu and fair prices. Service was great. Loved that some of the meals had a fun spin on them, for example my chicken salad had grapes and mango and it was delicious! Would definitely visit again. First call to them ever--after watching their COVID facebook menu postings. Wanted to support a small business....a guy answers the phone, rudely sort of yells at me...we're not open Tuesdays and hangs up. Wow....NO desire to patronize them. If you're closed, get a $20 answering machine....or don't answer the phone. I was calling to ask about the Easter menu, and probably spend about $250, but I had a menu question. Over my dead body will I go there, and if you look at my Yelp, I'm someone who spends and goes out for dinner a lot....and JUST moved to their area. Have driven by this place on many occasions, finally decided to stop in. The place is small, but clean and cozy. The staff was nice and friendly. The drink selection was average with a good choice of local brews. I had the Chicken Parmigiana and my wife the eggplant parmigiana. We were both happy with the size and taste. We haven't been in a while, but my go to meal was a Caesar salad with the steak tips. There were always 3 oversized steak tips (like mini filets) cooked perfectly medium rare as requested. I so looked forward to this salad when we went there tonight, but did not get that at all. It was like one of those nice oversized steak tips (mini filet) cut up into smaller pieces and had no pink at all inside (cooked medium). Very disappointing to get that for the same price it was before with more steak. I almost prefer they would have added a couple dollars in to the price of the dish to keep it the same. If they are trying to save money on that dish then they must be cutting back on all in one way or another. Sorry to say we will not be back to dine there read more

Three of us had dinner, reservation for 5pm. Service was very good. Drinks were great. 1 had chicken parm and he usually finishes it. Nope brought 1/2 home. The other 2 had baked haddock with smashed potatoes and asparagus. 1/2 of those went home as well. We decided to get dessert since our waitress said it was a normal size piece of cake and a small molten lava cake. Oh my, Both the carrot cakes came with ice cream and cream. And my molten lava cake was not small. Vanilla ice cream and whipped cream on top. I think there was a little carrot cake left but that was all. Great job all around. We ordered catering for my husband's retirement party a few weeks ago and that was amazing. We got the penne with sauce, chicken, broccoli and penne, roasted potatoes, and mini meatballs and sausage and also bread and butter. Everyone loved the food. There was plenty in each container, and we had so much leftover. We actually went to the restaurant for dinner last night. We ate at the bar. It has a nice atmosphere and the bartenders were awesome. Very attentive, personable and answered all of our questions about the menu. My husband got the fish tacos, which he loved. I had the chicken Emma but asked if I could have it with their garlic butter sauce since I am allergic to pesto. Chicken Emma is 2 parmesean panko crusted chicken breast over gnocci with the garlic butter sauce. Then they put arugula and shaved parmesean on top of the chicken. I cannot even describe how delicious this meal was!!! They have a good beer and drink menu as well. The only one thing I would suggest is have their delicious-sounding lunch sandwiches on the dinner menu. They only have hamburgers which I don't eat but all of their sandwiches sound so good and many times I like a sandwich when I go out for dinner. read more

Tried this place with my kids and parents on Black Friday. Years ago this location was a donut shop, and it's been vacant for some time until now. They did a nice job updating the building. Funky neo-rustic west coast interior with booth, table, and bar seating. It's a small restaurant, but with plenty of room to grow due to the old truck stop parking behind the building. It was a very cold day, so I wasn't too surprised that it was a bit cold in the restaurant. But I think they need some window treatments or something to help keep the cold out, or better placed thermostat and heaters. They have a solid bartender mixing drinks, and a good but small beer list. I was happy to have some local craft beer (a solid hazy APA at that). The food is reasonably priced and tasty. My daughter had one bad bit of broccoli in her broccoli chicken dish, but it looked otherwise fine (just a poor flavor to one piece, stemming from the plant, not their cooking). My mother and I had fish and chips. Good size portion of freshly battered haddock with the usual likely Sysco fries (else they do a very uniform job cutting their fries). The tartar sauce was homemade, and I think the slaw was too but I've had better slaw. My father had the chicken parm, which looked quite good. Freshly battered and fried chicken breast. We didn't get much of a review from him since he lost himself in the meal. I think that means it was good. My other daughter had fish tacos. She said they were good (they looked good) but I can tell she wasn't as impressed with them as with others she's had. (We order them often on Cape Cod, and she currently lives in Burlington VT where the food is off the hook wherever you go.) For dessert we got a chocolate chip "pie" and carrot cake to share. Both were made from scratch on site, and both were absolutely delicious. The chocolate chip pie is basically cookie dough baked in a shallow bowl topped with ice cream and chocolate sauce. The carrot cake was huge, very moist and mealy with my opinion of a perfect cream cheese frosting - barely sweet, slightly buttery, and velvety smooth. Oh, and the waitress was excellent. Very attentive but not intrusive, and very pleasant. All in all, there are a few small areas for improvement but we had a great meal there and will definitely be back when visiting family again. It's nice to see more and better (and local) dining options coming to Sutton. Also, I have to laugh at other reviews about the prices. I travel quite a bit for work and frequent local pubs and inexpensive local restaurants. This place is not expensive. I'd say it's modestly average-priced. read more

Excellent! I have been wanting to have dinner here for a long time. We tried to go a few Fridays ago, but very busy. Not a big restaurant, but they make he most out of the space they have along with around 8 seats at the bar. Very friendly staff. Our server could not have been friendlier. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip. Very good and so much that we took half home. My friend had their fish and chips, which looked perfect and came with a topping of onion rings. I had the Chicken Emma. OMG, the best thing ever! 2 bread crumb crusted and fried chicken cutlets, gnocchi with a Parmesan and pesto creamy sauce and topped with arugula, shaved Parmesan and prosciutto. It really was the best! So plentiful. Plenty for a good sized take home portion. Too full for dessert, but they had tiramisu. Next time. They also have take out available. Great prices. Our meal, with appetizer and drinks came to just under $60. They have lighter fare and a lunch menu I believe until 4 pm. Closed on Tuesdays. read more

New restaurant on the block went to check it out! Amazing. Everything made from scratch. Fried Mac n cheese balls with tomato cream sauce was crazy good. Lobster corn chowder was exceptional and was steaming hot unlike a lot of places. My wife has an awesome salmon dish and I had Ravioli Sara, sautéed chicken with peppers and spinach tossed with butter garlic sauce and fresh mushroom ravioli. What's not to love. It was outstanding. First visit. Not impressed with the food but friendly staff and West coast vibe decor are a draw. You can feel the enthusiasm in their efforts and attitude and we want them to succeed! Our cocktails were *almost* well crafted - they were weak. Not looking for a buzz but they were watered down. The bartender was awesome not sure what they are doing to their drinks? They did not sit out. Hmmm. Shrimp starter was neither hot or cold....the dip was excellent however shrimp tasted like gas....they must have a gas grill and that lighter fluid taste xferred to the shrimp. The tomato soup's flavor was off the hook but the consistency was that of a dip. Served in a wide bowl cooled off too quickly. Beet salad was ok. It's a salad with some beets.....not a beet salad. Goat cheese too small to pick up w fork. Maybe serve that as a log vs crumbDressing was more like a fruit smoothie, consistency was not appealing. We would return and try different dishes. The food is clearly mediocre at best. The bread is an embarrassment. It's not from a bakery and is more likely a form of pizza dough. The salmon and shrimp piccata is actually an angel hair pasta dish with pieces of salmon and a few shrimp. The chicken Emma is a dry pan fried panko crusted chicken breast. Truly nothing special. At best it's a high end pub. Let's hope that they can do better before the novelty of the place wears off. read more

Food was fresh and quite good...liquor prices were way too high...(they are in Sutton on a busy highway...not downtown Boston). They would do well to invest in some "noise cancelling" panels to bring the sound down to a tolerable level. The wait was minimal for a Saturday night at approximately 6:00. The staff was buzzing around like crazy, and yet they kept a good sense of humor throughout. The tiny female bartender was impressive both disposition wise and skill wise. She was knowledgeable and quite friendly to all. A few minor adjustments would definitely give this restaurant a 5 Star review. Good luck folks!
