When I arrived to the Bickel Maza the finance manager Angel explained to me he was only told about my deal one hour ago and the quote done was incorrect. Basically Brickell Mazda understated the quote to get me to come to there dealer to only later once at the lot Change the numbers. As they say the "old bait and switch game" therefore be aware of the type of business tactics and professionalism that Brickell Motors uses to lure customers into there car lot. The car industry has a terrible reputation for these types of games. In the past I had good experiences here but my most recent one was horrible. Brickell Mazda service said that my tire replacement would be covered by warranty. Then they said they made a mistake and I would have to pay for the cost of the tires. They said multiple times that the new tires would be OEM, the same that were on my car before. The new tires were not OEM, a brand I had never heard of before. This was a horrible experience and the service department management made no effort to reach out to me to find an amicable solution to what they knew was a very upsetting situation. read more

Sorry but I am one of the dissatisfied customers they keep sending me emails to how good they are and to follow up, but when I emailed them back I never hear back from them. There is a booklet with free offers and services they offer that i was supposed to received within 30 days and I have not received yet and no one has answered my email about it. I also had to pay extra for the Autotag they send me a tag only good for a week when i called they did rectify the situation after many phone calls and when they finally received the correct tag which (i had go and to pick up) with the correct amount of time i ended up paying another $36.86, when i asked no one could tell why I had to end up paying more when i already had paid for it in the first place. We bought my son's first car there. The deal finished at their closing so we were asked to come back for the floor mats, warranty, 2nd key and touch up paint on the side mirror. I called the next week and they did not have an appointment in the body shop for 2 weeks out. I scheduled the next available appointment for the 1-2 hour body shop appointment and receive the missing items as per the sale. Upon arriving, I was told the car would have to stay for 24 hours to have the touch up painting done. I could not leave the car and pick up the next day, so that work was not done. In addition, it took 2.5 hours for us to receive the floor mats and the 2nd key. And we were told that by the salesman and manager that the warranty would take another hour or two so we asked to have it mailed to us. 2 weeks later and no warranty in the mail. We called the manager and again asked for it repeating our address several times to confirm it. 2 weeks later still no warranty received. Finally, we received a call from HARVEY JOHNSON. He listened to our concerns and said he would help, which he did overnight the warranty to us. In addition, he always took our phone calls, responded to our texts, and called back when he said he would. I had a bad experiences at Brickell Mazda and give them "0" stars. I scheduled my service appointment online as I just relocated to the area. I choose Brickell based on Yelp and Google reviews, which seemed to be positive. I was very happy with the service I received! Although the Mazda service department is not physically in the same location as Mazda sales, Mazda sales guided me to the correct location. Edwin was my service advisor and he was genuine, honest, and very easy to work with. I am excited to hear a new state of the art Mazda dealership and service department will be constructed soon. My vehicle was ready an hour before I was quoted, so it did not take an entire day. I was also presented a coupon to get a beverage from their cafeteria which helped while I waited. Apparently when you call to schedule an appointment you need to do Their Job and write down the name of the person you spoke with over the phone in orden for them to validate your appointment. This place is a scam, they could honestly care less about you or the sale after the purchase is finalized. I should've thought twice about this dealership after they gave me "we will scam you" vibes. If I didn't need a car as badly as I did, I would've taken time to look at other dealerships rather than sit at this one for five hours. Julio Iglesias sold me my used car, (which didn't have a warranty like they mentioned) and could care less about my questions or concerns, he just wanted to make this sale to add it on to the books. I had problems with my front bumper and rims but Julio, like mentioned, could care less. Jennifer in the finance department wasn't much help either, just wants to handle the money and see you leave her office as fast as possible. It's funny how she mentioned that my car note got lowered because the bank who gave me a loan, noticed how high Brickell Mazda wanted me to pay each month. In other words "We scam here," on top of that, I asked Jennifer to show me how I could pay my car note online, she told me, "The instructions will arrive in the mail, if any questions, feel free to call" that letter never arrived, I've called the dealership and have spoken to other departments but can never get connected or transferred over to Jennifer. Sasha, although nice also pretty much scammed me with high car insurance. The only people I was actually happy to see the last two times I went to this dealership was Dylan and the mechanic. Someone needs to give Dylan a better position and a raise at this company! As a first time buyer, college student and such a patient customer, these people made me feel like a nuisance. First Class Experience!!!!!!!!! My salesman, Ruben Esber, did a great job of assessing my needs and my budget. He had a great understanding of what the Mazda line had to offer and which vehicle best suited my needs. He quickly got me centered on the CX 5, which is beautiful by the way. Once we settled on the model, there were several options. Between loaded 15's and base 16's I narrowed down my selection and we went to the next step... the financing. I must say that the last car I bought was 12 years ago... a Mazda. One reason I haven't purchased in so long is that I could not secure what I "felt" was a good deal. Ruben went to work. It was at this point that I met the manager, Russell Lombardi. It was not your typical car sales meeting... the same jargon of back and forth from manager to salesman. Russell assessed my situation, he and the finance manager (didn't get his name) made me an offer I couldn't refuse. No back and forth, no hassle. This was simply the best car buying experience I have ever had. I found the facility to be clean, convenient and comfortable. Everyone was very helpful and the cappuccino machine was nice touch! Jose Martin was my sales guy and gave me the best car buying experience I have ever had. He was super fun and attentive and listened to all my wants and dislikes and helped me make my choice without being pushy. It was a fun experience. I not once felt pressured, but safe and taken care of. His sales manager, Jose Vasquez then assisted me with final details and made me feel appreciated as a customer. While I love my Mazda 6, I am very disappointed in the service I received post purchase. I got a 3 year lease, and simply asked for the deal as advertised on the national website. This was difficult to get, and I'm not sure why had to haggle for something advertised nationally. Then they gave me 10K miles year, which I was certain the national deal was for 12K a year. They could not easily verify this, and they were unwilling to budge. After unfortunately agreeing, I went home and found that the national deal was for 12K miles a year (it was hidden under some sub-menu), and I returned to show that to them. They then realized their mistake and told me they would change my contract to reflect 12K per year. I was happy, but then called many times, emailed, and went in person to ask for an updated contract copy that I never received. I finally had the idea to contact my leasing bank, and they gave me a copy, which is unchanged at 10K miles a year. I have again called many times and no one who can actually help (or cares to help) ever answers or calls me back. Terrible service, they just care to take as much money from you as possible. I HIGHLY recommend the car....just at another dealership. While most of the staff is very kind, I'm not happy with how they aren't aware of the national deals available, aren't aware of Mazda's national lease terms, and don't ever call you back. read more

Got a pretty terrible deal on a new lease here. My sales agent Jorge didn't explain things well and was trying to push me to get the cheapest cars in their inventory. They were dishonest in telling me that the 2019 Mazda3 wouldn't come out until later in the year and they ended up being available about 2 weeks after I leased a 2018. Talk about a horrific experience dealing with the internet sales department here at Brickell Mazda. First of all - I got a TrueCar certificate for a 2015 Mazda3 iSport - as my sister was in need of a new car and i was going facilitate the negotiations for her so she could just go in and purchase. Some background - our purchase date is a few weeks out so we had agreed up front to provide a cash deposit to hold the vehicle until our guaranteed purchase date. That being said, I was working with a Mark in the internet sales team 1 week ago - my sister even went in and test drove, and all good so far. Then i start emailing to firm up pricing and no one responds. I email probably 4 times over the course of the week - no response. To try to make a deal work (and here's the thing - I - the CONSUMER - is trying to make the deal work, not the dealership who would earn my money), I finally called yesterday - and explained the situation and was promised a call back. Alas, no call back all day - so I call again this morning. Some additional background - I tend to buy new cars every couple of years - 6 new car purchases in 11 years (and to say most recently a new BMW and a new Lexus and I never experienced anything like this!!) - I'm an experienced internet department car purchaser, and that's how you get the best price. - I've negotiated prices through this method for my self - all 6 purchases and 2 cars for my parents in the last few years. Well finally today they put me on with Internet Manager Daniel - who says he manages the internet department for all their dealerships - what does he ask me to do? asks me to come in and I said NO - I advised I'm in CA and negotiating for my sister in Miami - i want to firm down price before we come in and pay the cash deposit to hold the car until purchase date. He was the epitome of a sleezy sales guy. I've never experienced such horrible service. I advised another dealer would sell us the car we wanted for X cash price - he said "leave it up to me, I'll beat it no problem." I told him cash purchase, no hidden fees - give me out of door pricing and if it beats The other dealer we'll be in today with a deposit. He then calls me back and says, yeah I can beat it, but you have to finance. No problem right? and i'm like I said CASH purchase, no financing - and he's like at 2.9 or 3.9% interest, just a few months. WHY WOULD I DO THAT? Plus I look at MazdaUSA.com and they have 0.0% financing - WHY is he trying to tie one over on me? oh yeah SLEEZY SALES GUY. Then i said - no problem, we'll go through the other dealer so he said give me a second with his sales manager. Then he gets back on the line and has the nerve to tell me the deal is fishy - my sister currently has no car and wants to buy new with cash. WHY IS THAT FISHY? She was ALREADY IN TO TEST DRIVE AND YOU HAVE ALL OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION AND WE ARE WILLING TO PAY A $1000 CASH DEPOSIT TODAY AND SIGN AN INTENT TO PURCHASE - what is the problem? He said it just doesn't feel right - so I said no problem. Good job walking away from a $20,000 sale - NEVER SHOP AT BRICKELL - it's all about the sleezy deal and hidden costs. Had to take my car in for mandatory Mazda Recall servicing. Am leaving the service center very frustrated for two particular reasons: - My car was inspected on Monday, and I was informed today (Friday) that a second recall repair was necessary for my car. Instead of the Service Center calling me in advance to advice this was necessary, I was unpleasantly surprised this afternoon, when I had already made a trip to the Service Center for Repair #1. They decided to wait 5 days to tell me that a second Recall repair was necessary for my vehicle. Why didn't the Service Center coordinate both repairs for a single visit? If the Mazda Service team were truly in control of their department, they would have the foresight to plan correctly & prevent their customers from making unnecessary, additional trips to the Service Center. - My second frustration, albeit petty, is indicative of Mazda's sub-par Customer Service (by select staff members). The Service team offer a 'complimentary' Uber service - however, in this case, they made me wait 20mins. (approx) & the Uber never picked me up. I called the office 3x's to re-order another Uber & they did not answer. Thus, I took it upon myself to order a separate Uber to not risk the office closing before me getting there. When I got to the office, I requested that I get reimbursed for the Uber expense that I had just incurred, however the staff adamantly challenged me & questioned why I had any right for compensation/reimbursement - and mind you, Uber transportation to the Service Center is supposed to be a 'complimentary' service. If Customer Service were truly a priority for The Mazda Service Center, they would not think twice to cooperate with customer complaints - especially when simple solutions are available. I guess you can't expect Quality Customer Service from all locations.... read more

From beginning to end, our experience with this dealership has been unprofessional, unpleasant and full of lies. We purchased a used vehicle from this dealership with the intention of having it transported to us in Tampa. The transaction went smoothly for the most part. After the transaction was complete, we were told the vehicle could and WOULD not be released to the transport company unless we gave proof of insurance on the vehicle, which in Florida, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to provide this so it is unnecessary.  We scrambled to get them the information but not after we texted and called multiple times to speak to an actual person who could attempt to help us. After the dealership was satisfied, our vehicle was picked up and delivered to us by our transport company and upon arrival noticed significant damage to the vehicle that was NOT advertised in the photos, inside and out.  There was damage to the interior seat (a tear), as well as a tear in the passenger side door vinyl and the passenger door looked as though part of it had been crumpled, not dented, crumpled like a wad of paper.  Additionally, despite assurances, no temp tag was sent with the vehicle as we were told that it would be arriving "overnight". Fast forward to over a month later when our temp tag is expired for 2 weeks, we call our local DMV to find out when our license plate will be arriving. Everything is great on our county end and we were told that it has been processed and we should be receiving it soon. We wait a week (expected Covid delays), two weeks, and decide to call the DMV. The DMV suggests that we call the dealership to find out what's going on, so we do. After speaking to an employee, we found out that our tag had been at the dealership for a week already and no one bothered to send it to us DESPITE acknowledging they knew the temp tag expired weeks before.  We had a car that we could not drive due to the temp tag being expired!! It took us calling the dealership to find out what was going on. They promised to overnight it - nothing.  Started calling the next day every hour on the hour and finally spoke with the GM on-call number 6 who promised to overnight it and have his admin call with tracking. Note, they transferred calls to someone in the office the previous 5 times with no callbacks.  After being promised the tracking number and no call came, of course, called FOUR TIMES (twice being hung up on) and at 630pm was given a FedEx tracking number. BUT when checked online it was not picked up and was told that the FedEx would go the next day.  So now on DAY three of being promised they were gonna send it STILL NOTHING.  Overall, the experience with this dealership was full of lies, unnecessary delays and they still haven't sent the tag (6 weeks after purchasing the vehicle and almost 2 weeks after having the tag in their possession).  Proceed with caution as they will tell you whatever they need to, hide damage by ensuring pictures are off enough to not include damage and then disappear read more

They had several cars in front of me so they paid for an Uber to and from work. Seriously makes it worth coming here! So convenient!! Everyone is always very friendly. Very dishonest dealership. My wife and I own a 2015 Mazda 6. In September of 2017, While getting an oil change at the dealership, we were told by the service department that we needed 4 tires, we purchased 4 brand new tires from the Mazda dealership. The warranty info on tires clearly states that if anything happens to the tires within a 24 month period from purchase, Mazda will replace that tire at no charge. A week later we evacuate from Marathon, Fl due to hurricane Irma. After the storm we return and get a flat tire , like everyone else, from debris on road. We get tire patched and go to Brickell Mazda so we can get our new tire as per warranty. Long story short, Brickell won't honor warranty and says they'll patch the tire and that's it. They basically said they do whatever they want and are too cheap and too much of liars to honor their warranty. They are dishonest and will cheat anything they think get away with. They didn't realize I was in talks with one of their salesman to trade in my 2015 Mazda 6 and get 2017. Either way I definitely won't be buying Mazda from them anymore. They lost my business. Very disappointing experience with this dealership, and its management. I was involved in negotiations with one of the salespersons - I was looking to lease TWO vehicles. The salesperson made me an offer of $400 per month with $500 down and they would pay the disposition fee on my expiring lease, plus some other (nice) incentives. I received this offer in writing, via a text message. Before I can accept, I get a call from the manager saying he can not ratify the offer - despite the fact that his salesperson sent it to me in writing. Manager raised the monthly payment, raised the down payment and took off all the incentives. Needless to say, NO DEAL. Total lack of communication within that dealership. read more

In reality, my time at Brickell Mazda Service Center working with Luis has been the best customer service I have ever received. After having had such a bad experience at Ocean Mazda, the positive reviews of Brickell lead me there with an in-warranty car with no A/C in the brutal Miami sun.
